The "Halloween crab" turns out to be a red land crab that needs salt water and freshwater pools, I was confused when they told me that because Halloween crabs need freshwater, not both. They told me the right care for the crab but they sold me a different type, red land crabs need both fresh and saltwater.

The best part is that they have a separate room with the pets with an employee. She opened the beardie enclosures & brought them out for me to get a closer look. I was able to pet the heads. I was able to get a ruff & tumble toy that so far (fingers crossed) has stood up to her razor sharp teeth and tough love. I also was able to buy fresh cookies from their bakery for her as well. Let me tell you about that. They bake and sell cookies and cakes for dogs. When I walked into the shop, I could smell something tantalizingly good. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but it made my stomach growl and my mouth salivate! They were baking cookies for pups and had a batch just out of the oven. Only human quality food goods go into their dog treats. I bought a small bag for my Georgia Lee. Well, the cookie was small and soft, but I still had to break it in half, because, well, she's quite small, but she loved them so much. They have no preservatives, so the cookies need to be refrigerated but they stay nice and soft. She loved those cookies so much. I can't wait to go back and buy her some more. Benson's also has a refrigerator with fresh dog food, and shelves of many varieties of dry and canned dog food.
