Our main pain points were potty training and socializing, which Helene was an immense help. I first inquired about Helene's services via a phone call where we instantly bonded and I knew Helene was the right person for the task. The first lesson was a more of a Q&A to get to know the puppy, answer any questions we had about dog training, and any general q&a about dogs in general. The remaining lessons were tailored to our biggest pain points. Once the training started, we saw the changes we asked for almost immediately! Our puppy's routine was well received by our puppy, it was like magic. I highly recommend Helene's services to anyone and look forward to how our puppy will be once the classes are over. Thank you Helene!

I had read the reviews for Jackie's Wag n Train before I contacted her and they were raves…read more Imagine my disappointment. When I enrolled my puppy in Jackie's class she told me the cost would be $125 for 6 one-hour, once-a-week classes. The class she put us in had already started the week before, I was assured we would make up the missed week. Also when we enrolled we were told at the end of the course my puppy would get a certificate. When the course finished we had had only 5 classes, we did not receive a make-up for the class we missed initially. So, actually, we paid for 6 and only got 5. I did not mention the unmade-up class at the time as I didn't think it would do any good. The first 5 were merely an hour with us taking turns making our dogs do something. There was no real instruction as to how to train them. I didn't experience any connection she tried to make with the dogs or with the owners, it seemed she was just going through the motions to get us through the hour, which sometimes we didn't even get a whole hour. At the end of the last class she told us we would be getting our certificates soon, I assumed through email. I waited for about a month and the certificate never came so I sent Jackie an email letting her know (in case she forgot me). She responded that she was not giving out certificates. I reminded her that she had told me at the beginning we would be getting a certificate. She responded by saying, "I have decided not to send attendance certificates in order to keep tuition fees down". I reminded her that I had already paid my tuition and that I was told we would be getting a certificate at the end of the course. To date she has not sent the certificate, nor did she respond to my last request. Her class was a rip-off, I paid $125 for a course that was not completed and she did not present the certificate that she said was part of the course I had paid for. I would not recommend Jackie's Wag n Train to anyone who wants a quality experience with training their puppy. Save your $125 and train your puppy yourself, your puppy will get exactly the same quality of training Jackie offers, it'll be free and you could print out your own certificate.

I cannot say enough good things about North Tampa Dog Training and Chris! Chris has been my…read moreIGP/Schutzhund coach and helper for the past two years. We started off with my then four year old German shepherd Beemer; he was my first IGP dog, and I had made a lot of mistakes in his foundation. We had to completely rebuild him in all three phases of the sport (tracking, obedience, and protection). Retraining, particularly on an older dog, is never an easy task, but Chris was always patient and fair with both of us. Outside of training, Chris has always made himself available if I have a question or concern. His system is clear and consistent, and he is able to easily communicate that system to his clients. My relationship with Beemer during training improved tenfold as Chris was able to eliminate so much of the confusion and conflict we were struggling with. I currently train all three of my IGP dogs with Chris. Each of my dogs are extremely different from one another in drive and temperament, but Chris is able to adjust his system to meet each dog as an individual and bring the best out of them. In addition to my own dogs, I have watched him work and care for countless others; the attention to detail is always the same, the dogs are in beautiful condition, and the kennels are immaculate. There is no one else I would trust with my dogs.

She responded very well with Melanie and I would watch on the camera in the cabins that they stay in and I would watch echo Wag tail when Melanie came in run over to her like it was me. if that wasn't enough the day we came home I can't drive so Melanie offered to help Eddie. Bring the three dogs to my house and she wanted to come in the house with echo. I can't lie. I was very nervous and scared because echoes always territorial in her house. At least that's what we were led to believe. When she arrived to the house, she took echo out of the car and walked her in the house sat down in my living room told echo to sit down. Echo sat down. She gave echo a hug. She called me into the living room. I was afraid to come in the living room because I was always told that she's jealous of anybody around me or Eddie when I came into the living room. She stayed with Melanie didn't do anything. Didn't bark didn't show any fear, aggression or jealousy. she just stayed there with Melanie and Eddie was there and I was there and everything was extremely calm like Melanie lived there. I've learned a lot today that my dog is not aggressive. She's a good dog as Melanie says she's scared, but she's very good and she just needs people to understand her and not show her fear. I will never forget this and I will always be grateful to Melanie and I'm so grateful that we found her She also has ring doorbell set up for each cabin inside and out, so you can watch your dogs as she watches them to give you a peace of mind. It's a wonderful set up and it's amazing how it is set up each dog has their own little house their own yard it's not boring there. They can look at the pig and the goats. It's simply amazing.
