I've been coming to this restaurant for the last 10 years, even when it was named Railroad Indian. I have never found the food to be anything but fantastic. Everything I've ordered is made to order and is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambiance isn't too inviting but it doesn't really matter once the food hits the table. I ordered the butter chicken every time I come. I only get it at 3:00 to 4:00 heat which sometimes can be pretty spicy. I once tried the Indian hot and that knocked my socks off, though the food was still very good. Highly recommended. I often see Indians in the restaurant so it seems pretty authentic to me. read more

Butter Curry is the meal to order here. My wife had it with lamb. It was wonderful. A small is more than enough food and a 3-level heat is still mild. Wonderful flavors! I had the Small Chicken Tandoori. My favorite meal in most Indian restaurants. I didn't enjoy this meal though. The chicken was dry, likely reheated, and the flavor of the sauce was not that great. I ordered it at a heat level of four. The spice was inconsistently applied. Some bites about right in heat and some way too hot. The service was adequate. The restaurant is clean. Exte disappointed. We have ordered from Punjabi Kitchen for quite a while and it's always been great. This time they gave us 1/2 of what we normally get for a large chicken vindaloo. When I called, they told me they changed their boxes, which is not true. We have always received their food in a silver container. They did nothing to rectify this and didn't even seem to care. I won't be wasting my money ordering from them anymore since they can't own up to a mistake. read more

On my word! The food is so good. By the way they've changed the name to Punjabi, I started with the Keema Samosas which are ground lamb samosas. You get 2 big pups of seasoned ground lamb. I love it with the mint sauce. So yummy. Then I got Naan. I got the chili Naan and it was hot. 4 family found it too hot to eat. I also got an eggplants dish with rice and I'd dip the Naan in it and it was amazement with heat and healthy. Finally they gave me a dessert which they called "kir" and it was yummy too. Lots of options, everything cooked to order, and they have a large clientele that are gluten free and can quickly make recommendations. They'll also substitute papadum for naan or other breads, on request. My family and I are big fans of the vindaloo, bhindi masala, butter chicken, pulao, and rice pudding. read more

My son and I visited here last night and had a very good meal. We were somewhat concerned when we arrived and sat at a table. We were the only people there? That's one of those red flags you often hear about. However as we sat there the line of people coming in to pick up to go orders was non stop the entire time we were there!! My son had a lamb Masala dish with okra. He asked for it to be very spicy but the waiter cautioned him to try a 4 on a scale of 1-6 for his first time here! Great advise! 4 was plenty hot! I had a chicken vindaloo and asked for it to be a 3 heat level, it was hotter than I expected!! Not hot enough that I didn't eat my meal but I used the yogurt sauce that accompanies the meal to temper the heat!!! The butter nan was delicious!! We will return again, the food was great and the service was very good. Do be cautious of the heat level and try a milder level if it's your first visit!! read more

Delicious food with good prices and wonderful and polite service as well. Had the veggie appetizer sampler, the paneer, the naan, and the chicken tikka masala. I'm not a connoisseur of Indian food, but it's some of the best I've had outside of London. The spice levels were great too, as the medium had a touch of heat, without being at all overpowering. We tried as much as we could: mixed appetizer, lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, and lamb masala. Beautifully baked Naan. Rich and creamy raita to cool your mouth. Soooo good! The quality ingredients, spices, cooking techniques, and service combined to make an excellent north Indian meal. We ordered way too much, as usual. Leftovers! AMAZING! This is the best Indian Food I've had in the Rogers, AR area. We had Butter Chicken, Korma Chicken and a delicious okra dish. Very generous portions. I would love to have the music turned up a little more for ambiance. I'm excited about getting some to go for a family night at home/movie night. read more

I LOVE this restaurant! Honestly my boyfriend and I visit them at least once a week. I am trying to cut back on meat, and I love that they have vegetarian options. My favorite meal here is the palak meat, but I get mine with chickpeas, usually level 4 spicy. The naan is so good too, with many flavor options to choose from. We were served by the sweetest server. He brought us complimentary desert and made us feel right at home. For that I'll give some stars! Food I would say was pleasant. It was a good meal but nothing was particularly amazing. We all added quite a bit of salt to our dishes and were just wishing for more of that classic bold Indian food flavor. The PK curry dish was the most flavorful out of the three but the matter paneer basically tasted like cream with a little spice. The palak chole was alright but added a bunch of leftover dipping sauces for a little more flavor. Would try a different place next time but was not unhappy with our meal and left feeling very full - good portions and we got the smalls read more

It was pretty good. I ordered chicken tiki masala which came with rice and naan. I ordered hot sauce option on chicken and it was definitely spicy but not so much I couldn't eat it. The rice was great on its own - sweet - but even better mixed in a little of the Marsala sauce. Naan is always great and the buttered naan that came out was hot and fresh. Order took a little long. The most delectable, delicious, and authentic Indian food I have eaten in 30 years! I worked for a family from India during college, and they invited me to dinner on a weekly basis. Such a delight! I moved to and lived in San Diego afterwards, and in all those years never found Indian food that compared, until I discovered Punjabi! It never disappoints, even with unfamiliar dishes.
