First impressions was the cheerful waiter who walked us over to our table, my boyfriend ordered a King Cobra and a glass of white wine for me and we were amazed when we he turned up with 2 King Ice Cold Cobra Beers and no glass of wine for me! After the mis-understanding on his behalf, we finally managed to settle down to a private romantic scene with the chef's kitchen door flying open and shut. I knew we should have sat somewhere else, but the atmosphere was very relaxed and everybody just seemed to just get on with it. Our starter was four popadums and the usual spices and in all honesty, I have tasted better. We ordered the Lamb Chilli Balti and Biryani Dish complete with rice and a NORMAL keema naan.
The dishes were delivered about 15 mins later, which is good timing and bloody hell the naan bread was HUGE, The biggest naan bread I have ever seen, I am not joking but I think they kind off make up for the loss of service by delivering humongous naan bread. The balti dish was 7/10 and the Biryani Dish 6/10 and the Keema Naan 20/10. Fu** Hell what a size of Naan. Anyway, after trying to finish the meal we decided the next time we were going to come here we would just share 1 dish and order the whopping naan instead. The bill arrived and we were over charged,, Anyway, to cut the long story short it is a great little place for a curry and a natter because that is all it happened to be! read more
