When looking for their fruit stand, pay close attention as it is very easy to miss - it is a few feet back from the main road and their signs are not as visible when driving. We bought a Maui pineapple, rainbow papaya, golden mangoes and apple banana. Needless to say, they were all so sweet, like eating candy! Please make sure to give them a visit, the other comparable fruit stands are all in Hana.

Oh, and don't forget a spam musubi waiting on the warming trays. Everything is higher priced than your mainland grocery stores. However, you do have to eat. Mana has a 'ton of healthy food options' and the hot food bar is superb; many organic selections, killer soups, sandwiches, steamed veges, etc. The hot food bar is hands-down way superior than Whole Foods. There is plenty of 'scan to park' spots available in Paia and it may be important to note that there is not a lot of places to sit down and eat your food if you purchase food to go... you kinda have to find a shady curb somewhere to sit down and eat. I think Mana in Paia is well worth a slight detour.

Local vendors are also selling a great selection, from locally made bikinis to printed tees, resin chopping boards to homemade jams, jewellery to plants, traditional carvings and keiki clothing. Plus there is free parking and a band plays at the weekend too. Makes a nice morning out to buy some groceries and have a treat. This time we just wanted nice local papaya but have done the tour previously. The tour is quite interesting for all ages learning about coconuts and other local plants and produce Some arts and crafts too. The large shop has fantastic produce, historical displays, and packaged products from around the whole state like the honey we love to buy from Big island Bees when in the island of Hawaii. There also wonderful gardens and ponds with lots of fun ducks that are quite friendly. Kids love this!!!! There's also great coffee and ice cream stands etc. Pretty much something for everyone.
