I really liked the bbq and would definitely eat here again. Don't be fooled by the appearance. It looked a bit closed down/empty and had very few customers. I figured even if the food wasn't great and I like supporting local and unique spots. So I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor. There's seating inside and some tables outside. They have a variety of coffee drinks and also serve ice cream. There aren't really any souvenirs- just a few local jams or honey I think and some bags of chips. I do wish they offered more local products for sale, like some art or jewelry would be perfect. Oh, I saw a mother bear and a cub crossing the road nearby so it's also a pretty drive around the cafe but definitely be on the lookout for wildlife!

Having lived in Tampa for too many years, we know what a Cuban sandwich should be and this one although not the best original we ever ate, definitely tops many average ones we've had in "real" Hispanic restaurants.
