Stopped in with our little and it was a blast! Went mid week and early (during their designated time for littles) and glad we did! There were a few older kids but they had younger siblings with them and they were really great with smaller kids. It was clean for the most part and not crowded. Staff was nice and lots of choices for kiddos to play and jump on! I will say that it does smell a bit like a sweaty gym and feet, air freshener sporadically in there would be nice. We had an awesome time celebrating here. They had everything well organized, clean, and sanitized. That's especially important in the current state of things. They made sure to that we felt safe in our own private party. A staff member was always present to assist, take photos, and keep the event moving along for the next group. The kids had approximately 1 hour of jump time and the other hour was in a private room eating pizza and viewing the pics that were taken throughout the event. Might I add, the kiddos really enjoyed seeing themselves on screen. Ha! The pizza was really good. They ordered from a local shop, Marcos, and had more than enough for guest. The staff also served us the pizza with Capri suns. They also cut the cake and assisted with distributing it as well. Great spot for some good active fun. I came here for a birthday party and it was truly as amazing as I remember. I had my daughter's 4th birthday here a few years ago and after taking her she wants her birthday this year to be here too. They take care of the food, the fun, the decorations, and most importantly the cleaning up!!! That's a win win for me! There are two different rooms to choose from... toddler/babies/kids and another for kids/older kids. You get to pick which room you want to rent for your child's birthday party and they have different packages to choose from. They even take pictures throughout your party and display them in the party room. They practically take care of everything so you can just kick off your shoes and jump around with your kid(s). Our experience was opposite of what we anticipated based on the excellent customer service over the phone when booking and the amount that we paid ($631 to be exact). Our party hos, Halas focused more on promoting her small business (than making our son's birthday experience great. While in the play area, she was lurking our party guests about following her on IG and it was inappropriate. When we transitioned to the birthday room she asked me about paying my balance while passing out food to the kids, which was unprofessional. My wife had to intervene when she was cutting the cake because she was rushing and slicing recklessly. Upon paying the balance, my wife left the party to go to the front with the host and was gone for an entire 10 mins from a space that we only occupied for 40 minutes because there was someone at the front desk inquiring about a future party for her child and she was just expected to stand there until her and the other attendant finished planning her party. My wife decided to barge into handle to financial business to make it back to the party before it was over. Upon heading back to the room , the "host" lost track of time and asked my wife to start the birthday party song. "She doesn't know what happened". During the loading of gifts to my vehicle, we had to stop her and tell her that we would handle it because she was tossing our gifts and items in, trying to rush to end the experience. Lastly, there were supposed to be 10 bags of chips with our Domino sub order that never arrived. We had a party at Pump It Up in Bartlett on 6/29 and it was aaammaazzziinnggg! My LO turned 3 and he had a BLAST! It was perfect for toddlers and his older friends/cousins as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They greeted us with a smile and helping hands! They didn't leave our side until the end. They even helped us pack up the gifts afterwards. The room was clean and "kid friendly". We didn't have to worry about any falls, bumps or bruises here. The kids had a ball and the parents did too! The pizza was hot and delicious!! They helped set up the party room and provided extra plates and whatever we needed with no hesitation. If you want a fun, hassle free, no mess, no stress party, this is the place for you!! We came in here for a birthday party for our "niece". Okay, she's not really my niece but her mom and my wife were sorority sisters together. BUT ANYWAY, on to the review. This place would be awesome if you're a kid. The people working there all seem to be high school kids who seem less than thrilled to be there. But don't let that detract you. They have two party rooms with three different LARGE inflatables each. Two of them are slides with different ways to get up to the slide. One of the slides has a semi-maze that you must navigate to get up to it. The other has a large ramp with small grip steps. I didn't get to play (yes, adults are welcome to unleash their inner child) in the other one but it was a basketball game/gladiator-esque face off arena. Definitely geared more towards the boys. So why not five stars you ask? Well we found out they charged a smidge over $400 dollars which only included the use of the play room for 1.5 hours and the party room to eat and do presents. I also didn't like that the price DID NOT include the food in it. She had to pay extra to order Domino's Pizza. That's not even great pizza. Lol But I digress, the kids will love it but just know what you're getting into when going. Not a whole lot for parents do unless you play with them and there are only two benches in the play room for parents to sit on which was not enough seating. read more

When I was a kid, bounce castles were always the highlight of birthday parties and school field days. As an adult, I'm glad to know that Pump It Up exists. It's an indoor inflatable playground in Bartlett (and you don't have to be a kid to play). Pump It Up has two rooms of huge inflatable tunnels, wide slides, climbing areas and octagonal "rooms" for bouncing. Be sure to bring socks - you have to take your shoes off before you bounce. Also - if you're an adult, know that bouncing is a lot more exhausting than you remember it being. Though Pump It Up is a pretty popular place for kids' birthday parties, they'll also host corporate retreats (*Ahem, boss*), and special events. You can also drop in for their Pop-In Playtime - regularly scheduled hours of unstructured, individual bouncing. Know though, that some Pop-In Playtimes are restricted by age. read more

The only thing I don't like is that they take pictures of the kids while the play which is fantastic but they then stop to put them on the screen in the party room so there are no pictures of blowing out candles or opening presents. I took my daughters here for a birthday party, and I think that I had as much fun as they did. The party rooms are huge, with tons of fun infatable slides, tunnels, moonbounces, and climbing walls. We went to a glow in the dark party with laser lights and music. I thought it might scare my kids (ages 4 and almost 2) but they loved it. We all went down the super tall inflatable slide- me with baby on my lap and arm around my preschooler. It even took my stomach away- so much fun! I would recommend wearing long sleeves though because I successfully burned the heck out of both elbows by sliding down too quickly. You could probably position yourself so that it won't happen even with no sleeves but I was too worried about hanging onto the kids to notice. Everyone that plays in the inflatable play areas must wear socks, but don't worry if you forget yours. They sell them in all sizes at the front desk (they're pretty cheap too). read more

Follow the rules! I have seen broken limbs and an orbital skull fracture leave this place, in an ambulance! For birthdays, this is a winner, but parents, watch your children. Yes, they make you sign a waiver, but it is to protect them, not you. Your children need to be safe, not climb on top of these toys, or bad things will happen. For the fun part: I do recommend this as an easy party. They do not give deposits back, so I guess make sure you're having a party before you book one. I held my 34th birthday party here (yes, I know, it's nerdy), and we had a wonderful time at 9pm. I think many of the young moms don't want other adults to see us bounce, slide, and have fun, but it's a lot nicer when there are no kids to worry about. They let you bring your own cake and bottled water, though they sell pizza and sodas exclusively. Depending on the party helper you're assigned, you may or may not have help serving the actual food in the party room (after 45 minutes of bounce, you get 45 minutes of party, or some such thing). Remember your socks, and watch the safety video, and everything will be a-okay. read more

This is a great place to have a party. It is a indoor inflatable play area that has slides, obstacle courses and jump houses. I have been to numerous birthday and sports team parties here and the kids always love it. The great thing about it is you can invite a lot of kids- up to 25 and you don't have anything to clean up. The kids jump for an hour and then they go to the party room for cake and presents. Usually it is just open for private parties but they do have a Pop In Playtime a few days a week when you can go in without a party invitation. My older boys like the glow in the dark parties which is a cool idea for tweens and teens. read more

I took my small kids on a Friday, walked in and the receptionist didn't look up and mumbled something, I eventually was able to hear her say "what party are you here for?" and I said we're not here for a party. She said they only have private parties on Fridays. I said that it would have been great if it was on their website to which she snarkily responded "oh it is". It's actually not. I checked ahead of time and I re-checked after she said this. She was really condescending along with the other girl standing up front. No customer service skills whatsoever. In all reality, this place is just a couple of rooms full of bouncy slides, obstacle courses, and games. It's great fun and wears the kids out, and there is nothing not cool about that. What really earns it 5 stars, though, is the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I'm co-coordinating an event and we were out of places to host it that were within our budget. My partner in planning this event thought to call PIU and we could not be happier! They have been nothing but helpful, and are so willing to accommodate our needs. I brought my daughter for the family jump time they have throughout the week after being so pleased with how they've been during our event planning, and she had a blast. They have staff on hand to monitor the kids so that they don't get too rowdy and run over the younger ones or damage the equipment. I am definitely considering having my daughter's next birthday party here. It's good, suburban fun in a clean, safe environment. read more

I could give this place a better review if it didn't get so boring after 20 minutes, after you've already done everything. I would suggest adding something new, like maybe a bungee jumping thing as tall as the ceiling, I dunno, that may be just what I'm praying for. And make the things less easy to get rub burns from. I would give less than one star. But the two employees that were actually good deserve that much. First of all, make sure all of your guests get there 15-20mins early. They have no grace period for your guests and are not understanding at all. Miscommunication by the employee signing us up and not giving us paperwork that showed time restrictions caused some issues that they refused to do anything about. My party coordinator was late and didn't show until we were in the party room, my mother and I set up for my daughter's first birthday with zero help therefore I missed every bit of my daughter playing. And yes WE were early. However, the staff did not even get us back until 25 mins after my party was scheduled. So that extra 25mins I thought I had to watch her enjoy the playroom, gone. We were rushed out immediately at what would have been an hour and twenty minutes had they started on time. My group left their shoes because they didn't know we were done. When the next group showed up our shoes were thrown out of the cubbies, when I expressed displeasure, a trash can was placed in front of the playroom doors so we couldn't enter (HUGE FIRE HAZARD BTW, my father is a firefighter) which caused my husband to have to wait until we were leaving to get his stuff. We paid the extra 15$ for them to take pictures, of the 50 pictures, maybe 15 are of my daughter and most are blurry, but the new employee who did not have a clue took the pictures. Not a choice I would have made personally, given it was a FIRST birthday. This same employee served food multiple times without gloves, which is a shame since one of my party kids has a peanut allergy. We brought her special food, but cross contamination is inevitable without gloves. My guests ended up getting their own food and drinks. The coordinator came in and took my cart before we even started with my daughter's cake to set up for the next party, and before we were all finished packing up, began throwing away our party supplies and setting up for the next party as well. I chose this venue because I wanted to be present for my daughter's first birthday. The sales pitch was that they handled everything. Unfortunately, I did. I miss everything just as if I had thrown the party myself. For the money you pay, I expected better service and treatment. The owner had zero compassion for her employees screwing up my daughter's day. We won't recommend this venue, we won't return, and if I can file a complaint with a corporate office I will. Completely unacceptable. To rush us out because they screwed up. To speak to another party mother about the situation like a gossiping teenager. To throw out property on the floor. To come to me while I'm opening presents with my daughter, and yes I have pictures, and tell me I only have five minutes and start packing up our things. Ruining what little time I was able to be involved. I'm sorry, but this is something all of these people have looked forward to and it was nothing we imagined. read more

The manager, Stephanie, was concerned our party experience wasn't up to their standards, and called me to check on it. I had a couple of small issues. It was a great party, really, kids loved it. But, as a customer, I had a couple things. She swooped in and made it right in house and by me. We went for Spring Jump a couple weeks later, and had another blast. Booked my daughters bday party on Jan 30th and put the deposit down for a date in Feb. the website made me feel that the price was based on kids in attendance so when I called today (booked on Monday night called same week on Friday morning) to get a better estimate of pricing since I've never booked a party there and the total was over 300 for 7 kids. Insane! The rep over the phone was pleasant enough to go thru different options to save me money (since my daughter will be 5 and there will be 7 total kids attending) but ended up only saving me ten on moving to a Sunday. I cancelled and was informed the $100 deposit is non refundable! Horrible! It's not the reps fault she was nice and tried to work with me but fix your website to be clearer on its pricing. Truly as good as it gets! We did the open jump all summer long!! every day from 2-2;3o It is $9 per kid parents are free and if you bought a city pass book there is a bogo coupon in it, so you get an hour and a half of a room for 2 kids $9. AMAZING! Staff is always nice very patient especially with the smaller slower kids and always looking to help! We stayed longer after to get all of our shoes back on and we just so happened to be there while they where cleaning the blowups and they really cleaned them!! I mean really cleaned them spray Lysol, wipes, paper towels the whole shebang!! It was awesome I didn't think much into the cleanliness until I saw them!! Best of all parents are allowed to jump I had so much fun. I wish there where more than 5 stars. can NOT wait until next summer to do it all again.
