Every time I go in, I am shocked by the various layout & decorating themes which make each event special to your needs. Catering & rental was quite affordable for 400 guests. The managerial staff is a staple in the community and can direct you to the most accommodating support staff if needed. I would definitely recommend this venue.

I needed a facility that would be large enough to hold about 30-35 vendors, 300 brides, have a stage and a runway for a wedding gown fashion. From the outside the building looks like a large brick warehouse, but on the inside, it was a diamond in the rough. Huge entrance, generous restrooms, an upstairs large preparation area for the bride and the groom, with separate staircases for them both to come down from, and the ballroom was huge. The large stage was elevated and I could very easily see a fantastic event taking place. I think this is the best kept secret in Memphis for wedding venues. The facility was clean, beautiful, and welcoming, and the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend The Occasion Event Venue. Thank you both for helping us honor my sister so beautifully.

The location was convenient to anyone in Memphis, from Midtown to Collierville. And our out-of-town attendees loved seeing this park. The room looks out on Hyde Lake and even opens up to a small deck. This option was perfect for sunset photos as well as all of the youngsters who wanted to explore the shoreline. It was both upscale and very comfortable. Our contact, Kate, walked me through the options and process. She answered all my questions - several times I'm sure! The whole team was a dream to work with. I like that they had narrowed the caterering and other vendor options down to a smaller list of reliable and quality companies! I highly recommend you check out this venue for your party or wedding. It was fantastic!

This is a great little venue for a micro wedding or a birthday party or anniversary party, or perhaps a small reunion or retirement event. The owners are very sweet, and the manager of the venue was possibly even sweeter. The decor was done by the previous owner of the location when it was a couture dress shop. There are lots of mirrors which make for interesting photographs, and a nice contrast between dark and light in the decor. The space has good flow for a party and plenty of dance space for a DJ! Definitely add this venue to your list of ones to look at.
