Their background in Structural Engineering is something that is just not offered through normal inspection companies. You will be blown away with the report you recieve after the inspection. I thought I came prepared with a worksheet I created to make sure the major items in this home purchased were covered, needless to say Marvin, my inspector had a much more detailed listing. We went over the home, foundation, electrical, water, roofing, walls, plumbing, on and on and on. If you choose someone other than this company, you will never know what you missed out on. My wife and I were so pleased, and it made the decision to purchase this house with confidence. At the end of the inspection, he pointed out, in his opinion to where we should focus our short and long term possible needs to abbate any issues going forward with our home. JUST AMAZING! Craig reviewed the structure and gave us the information that we needed to have the confidence to proceed with the purchase. He also knew a lot about the neighborhood history and the plants and trees on the property which was an unexpected bonus. Our experience with Craig was so positive. I highly recommend his expertise and professionalism.

There were a couple rips in the material, the taping on the seams between sheets zigzagged; and this is on the factory cut edge that's perfectly straight. They used the spray foam to adhere the tarp to the cinderblocks. Some spots have huge spray foam globs that sank and pushed the material out creating air gaps. The only way that can happen is there is a critical shortage of fasteners holding the material up, I've seen less than 10 on the whole job so far. There are spots where the spray foam looks like melted cheese, its disgusting. The entire area has a layer of dirt and hundreds of spray foam turds along the walls. The two 'doors' they put on for $1000 were 2x4 and pvc board with 2 screws, absolutely unacceptable. When I called to talk to the crew they said they had swept out the area, I laughed and hung up on those liars. There is numerous work material trash left under there including a 2 tank spray foam setup. They also spray foamed 2 interior walls that were not part of the work plan and didn't need it. I had the supervisor come out to take a look and he pointed out more things wrong and said this needed to get made right. Guess someone forgot to write something down because when the next crew came to make repairs, they didn't have the materials they needed cause it wasn't written on the work service order thing. It's a month later and I still haven't received any before or after photos from them of their work but boy am I glad I went down there and took my own. I know it can be grueling work, but for something that is supposed to bring peace of mind about your home, this has been a nightmare. If you need go with anyone else

He's also easy to reach and very responsive. NOTE: If you're looking for an inspector who's going to call it as he sees it, this is the guy. Your realtor/builder/whomever's interested in just getting the deal done will not like him. This is a good thing. Future you in 5-10 years down the road of owning the house will love him. He's a little more expensive, but brings more value for dollar than other inspectors I've worked with. No stone will be left unturned. I was in the middle of a new construction and needed an independent set of eyes on my builder's workmanship. Bobby's first inspection came during the rough-in phase, and he found a number of issues that weren't caught. I then had him come out for our final walk-through inspection, and boy was he thorough. He caught a number of issues that were missed, and multiple times my builder asked where I found such a meticulous home inspector. In the world of homebuilding, any inspector who's able to impress/annoy a builder is worth their weight in gold. I've also referred him to others and they've been similarly impressed with not only his knowledge but his willing to teach and advocate on their behalf, especially in the face of a pushy realtor. I'll have him back out to do our end of warranty inspection and could not recommend him any higher.
