I completed CPR training in February 2026 in Colorado and initially, the process itself was smooth…read more I can certainly acknowledge that. However, there were significant issues with the training setup that ultimately led to an injury. Due to the room configuration, I was unable to properly reach the mannequins and had to perform CPR on my tiptoes. The table was not adjustable, and no stool or accommodation was available. As a result of these poor ergonomics and lack of proper setup, I sustained a neck and trapezius injury mid-cycle. Ended up having to literally crawl on to the table . At the time, I reached out simply to provide feedback in hopes of preventing a similar experience for others especially individuals under 5 feet tall. The initial response I received was apologetic, and I appreciated that. However, after enduring five weeks of significant pain, I followed up to ask about the appropriate process before seeking medical care, as providers often ask for details about how an injury occurred. Unfortunately, the response I received at that point was defensive and dismissive, referencing a signed waiver rather than addressing the concern. The response was unfortunate. I fully understand that CPR training can be physically demanding. However, participants should be provided with a safe and properly adjusted environment to perform these skills. In this case, the setup did not allow for that and contributed directly to my injury. As a side note, I happened to have the session recorded (originally intended for social media), and it clearly shows the moment the injury occurred. Overall, I'm very disappointed in both the lack of appropriate setup and the company's response. I am still dealing with daily neck pain without resolution.

I've renewed my BLS many times with other companies, but this guy really teaches to save lives. The only issue I have is that I asked for CEU's and was never given them. Super important if you need them for a job. They never got back to me after I asked if I could get them. I also got an email stating that I'd probably pay more money, when on the website, it states they give CEU's when taking this class. Overall, class was great with a great instructor. Just a little disorganize when it comes to the CEU's. Hopefully no one has to deal with this when they need the CEU's.

Coming into class I felt rusty with my skillset, but leaving I felt confident that I would be able to provide high quality CPR in this situation. Pros: Skill set improved Choking Mannequin (surprise) Mannequins with sensors to provide visual/haptic feedback when providing compressions Air Purifying Filters , Instructors uses bleach wipes to clean each mannequin per use, each student has own mannequins/AED, EASY CEU process, and Same Day Certifications if you pass the test. (15 minutes after last person leaves test site) Knee rests foam boards for adult CPR DAD jokes are awesome. Happy WIFE Happy LIFE. P.S. * Complaints about small classroom size not an issue; Small Groups so didnt notice. You are here to improve and learn HQ BLS. If your biggest complaint is small classroom size vs learning techniques to save individuals I would say your priorites are wrong. HIGHLY RECOMMMEND. Cons: Possible whispers Instructor Brian may retire :(
