Went for the Serial Killer Experience- which was amazing and very well put together - Pullman Yards itself was ok there was a restaurant, some other exhibit, a skating rink, I thought there would be food trucks but it might have been the time of year and it was a weekday -

I had a great time visiting the Golden Girls pop-up. The location was great, and parking was convenient. The staff appeared friendly and welcoming. While I didn't enjoy some of the dishes that were served, I did love the fries, and the drinks were okay. Parking costs $7 per hour or $20 per day. If you are a Golden Girls fans check it out :-)

Went here for the serial killer museum show they had, this thing was pretty morbid, but pretty cool as well. There was a bunch of shows showing the history and human interest in killers and serial killers as well as memorabilia directly linked to some of the killers or recovered at the scenes. This was def worth it, but caution it is dark. This place though looks like a great place for venues and concerts and is in a great area of town.

    Cornhole.

I have visited Pullman Yards several times since it opened a few years ago. I have played Pickleball there and I remember they had a skating rink during the winter when I last visited. There is lot parking.

Golden girls brunch was HORRIBLE. My friend had hair in her bacon. It took them 35 mins to acknowledge us once we sat down. Our reservation was at 12:30 and it's 2:14 and one of our friends still doesn't have her food. They kept getting the drink orders wrong. Our waitress barely came to check on us. The set up is beautifully made and very intentional tho. Do not recommend!

My clients and I parked in the courthouse parking deck, which was about $6, I believe, and we took a short walk over. The bathrooms were clean, and we were basically the only ones in the museum besides workers on a weekday. We checked out the Flat Rock exhibit first. This is what drew me to the museum in the first place as I have been wanting to check out the actual Flat Rock Archives for a long time but just haven't had the chance to. This exhibit and all the exhibits on-site here were free. This was a fairly small exhibit, but like the others here, there was quite a bit of info to digest, so I recommend taking your time to read through everything or whatever catches your eye. After the Flat Rock exhibit, we checked out the Decorative Arts exhibit, showcasing some interesting old pieces in the museum's permanent collection. Then, we made our way to the Dekalb County history exhibit, showcasing the past 200 years of Dekalb County. This was probably my favorite exhibit on display, just because there was so much info on different places and people that as a transplant I hear a lot about but don't really know all the ins and outs about. It was all very interesting and informative. Lots of civil rights history and even info on places like Buford Highway and its history - a stretch I travel daily but didn't know much about. We ended the self-guided tour with a walk through the Avondale Estates exhibit, displaying the area's controversial history. I had heard some of the history of that area on the news a while back, but had no clue that it was similar to Forsyth County (and a lot of areas historically I'm sure) in that they basically did everything they could to keep non-whites out as long as they could. There was more history on the people of that area and how things have improved. Once again, there is a lot to digest, but definitely worth a walk through and some time spent. I would highly recommend this museum and all the current exhibits if you're a history buff or just want to learn more about the community, whether a transplant like me or visitor. I would definitely return to see other exhibits in the future, and apparently, this is a very popular wedding venue also, so there's that! Check it out if you haven't yet.

This is a smaller venue and for the budget we had, it worked perfectly for us. I stumbled upon this venue on Yelp and after reading the reviews, we both knew this was the place for us. I love that they allow you to bring in your own food, alcohol, decorations, and don't force any "preferred" vendors down your throat. This truly helped us stay within our budget. The space itself is just beautiful and charming. High ceilings, lovely hardwood floors, plenty of greenery space surrounding the building to take pictures, and plenty of parking for our guests. They had all the tables and chairs we needed so we didn't have to rent anything and the facility manager was on site during our event so if there was an issue, she was able to assist. We just loved how helpful Cindy and Beth were. From the time we decided to use the space, to the day of our wedding, they were always quick to respond to any questions we had and were just overall helpful. The venue has space that is quite versatile and they setup the area to your needs. It was the charm of the exterior that really helped us make the decision as we knew we would have our celebration during the summer. They have a brick area out front (with lovely string lights that just make it soooo much cuter in the evening) where we ended up having a small ceremony and also used the space as just an area where our guests could come outside, sit, and mingle during our reception. They have a bridal suite, a pretty big kitchen for vendors to use during the event, and a good amount of restrooms for your guests. My husband and I couldn't have picked a more lovely place to have our wedding and am so happy that we went with our gut and stuck with our decision to utilize the Solarium. There are some moments where you just don't have the words to express how gracious you feel but I must say we loved everything about The Solarium and would reccomend this anyone!

It's got great natural light and a pretty color palate. I only had two issues with their event service. 1. I wish they recycled. My wedding was three years ago, so maybe they do now. I had to ask a couple of friends to help me with recycling so that all of the glass and plastic wouldn't go into the garbage. 2. I wish they would clean up the bride's room a little. This is the main room for the bride to get ready, and it's usually a mess. They call it the "art room" and wouldn't really help to de-clutter it for photos. Still, even with these issues, it's a great value for an in-town location and it's a beautiful part of Decatur's history. I love to shoot there, too!

I have been here for a number of classes and events and the issue I have has always been the same. PARKING!!! OMG!!!!! Parking at this studio is atrocious. They literally have 7 spots in the back of the building IF you can find it. Those spots are so tight that it also depends on the type of vehicle you drive....whether or not you will get a coveted spot. I adore this business, but PARKING......is horrible. If you come to an event after hours you will be able to park somewhere on the street for free; after 6 p.m. on weekdays. Other than that you may have to pay for parking and walk to the studio. Just prepare yourself and leave early enough to find a parking spot or take MARTA. You'll enjoy the classes you take here, you won't enjoy spending a lot of time looking for somewhere to park.

The staff is very unfriendly and inhospitable to be in the hospitality industry this should be unacceptable. I have never experienced such disrespect speaking to customers either. All the front desk associates were not accommodating or helpful when we asked them any questions or had any requests or concerns. The night desk manager was the worst of all. She was rude, disrespectful and extremely condescending in her tone and speech. And I specified at the beginning of my hotel stay to have "late check out," but the day I check out, a man knocks very loudly on my door early in the morning, opens my door, then proceeds to loudly say "housekeeping! Are you checking out today?" I told him to come back later and I had late check out. He still continues to have a conversation with me still standing with my door ajar and proceeds to ask "what time are you leaving"? Are you serious right now? We are having a back and forth early in the morning about when I'm going to leave because he did not have the courtesy to make an effort and find out first which rooms have a late check out, and even after I informed him I have a late check out, he continued to inconvenience me and ask me further questions about when I will leave for his convenience's sake. My father recently passed, I cannot sleep or stay asleep easily. He woke up an insomniac that specifically requested the hotel for a late check out. I do not appreciate that. I did not want to be disturbed or awakened in the morning. I had to wake up early and decide what time I had to leave, for housekeeping's convenience. I was forced to speak with housekeeping, who entered my room without my permission... also during check in, I saw several bugs scurrying about on the floor... so hygiene and cleanliness is questionable too. Just a horrible experience all around. I would not recommend if you want a pleasant experience with smiling faces and hospitality oriented attitudes. Being from the hospitality industry myself, I am flabbergasted at this hotel and accompanying restaurant, platez, as a customer.
