I went to Pullman Yards for the Serial Killer exhibit, and it was great! This place is big enough to have small concerts and other events. I learned a lot, and I wouldn't mind going back to go over things that I may have missed. The atmosphere was dark and eerie, with creepy music that made the setting just right. I even found out that there was a serial killer thirty minutes from my small hometown. They provided information on serial killers from the 1800s, from Jeffrey Dahmer to John Gacy. Even killers from different countries were shown. I really enjoyed myself and will go to Pullman Yards for more events. read more

This review is on both Pullman Yards as well as the Serial Killer exhibit housed there. Here's everything you need to know... The Venue. Pullman Yards is a collection of large warehouses that hold exhibits. When I was there (June 2026) there were two exhibits - the Serial Killer tour and a space exhibit. There's also a Brick and Mortar restaurant and a few little kiosks that sell stuff. There also appears to be a tent where other pop up events could take place. There's not much additional seating other than a few wooden benches. The Parking. $7 per hour in the Pullman Yards lot. You have to pay using a QR code. The lot is conveniently located (gravel) and they really pack the cars in. Apparently, they will ticket if you let your time run out so be sure to set an alarm on your phone to extend time if necessary. The Serial Killer Exhibit. The exhibit is comprised of 40 small rooms that you flow through and are divided up into different categories (female killers, American serial killers, investigative techniques, serial killers that killed in pairs, etc.). Each little room has between 1 - 8 different exhibits that give you basic information on the serial killer (some are famous like Ted Bundy and Son of Sam, while others are more obscure killers in other countries). The infromation if quite basic and you could get as much info from a google search (if you knew what to search for). Some of the exhibits have actual artifacts from the crime scene (although there are very few of those-- most have juror certifications from the killers' trials, drawings or letters written by the killers, etc. instead. There are a lot of exhibits that are not actual artifacts but items similar to something -- for example, "Here's a saw similar to the one Jeffrey Dahmer used to dismember his victims" or just mannequins dressed to like the killer. As someone who is pretty well versed in the topic of serial killers with a MCJ in Criminology, I was disappointed to see that most of the information of investigative techiniques and the studies on the differences between male and female serial killers and typologies was grossly oversimplified. If you don't know much about typologies and psychological aspects of serial killing, you might enjoy it as it is an okay entree into the subject. I was definitely disappointed in how dark it was inside. I get that it makes it spooky, but because the posters are glossy and there's downlighting on them, the glare made them difficult to read. Some of the exhibits have QR codes that allow you to listen to the information, but you do need to bring headphones (which was not mentioned on the ticket at all) or you can hold your phone to your ear and try to listen to it. Also, many of the letters and such written by the killers that are under glass are too far away to be able to actually read which was disappointing. There is one room that is pretty disturbing which covers sexual sadism and could be too graphic for some viewers. Overall, however, there were not a lot of crime scene photos or other photos that haven't already been published if you did a deeper dive. There are bathrooms inside the exhibit, in room 6, but if you go past that, you have to wind back around for awhile to get back to them. Photography is allowed but no flash photography and you can't use the light on your phone to help you read any of the posters. If you want to read and take at least five minutes at every exhibit, it would take you about 2.5 - 3 hours to get through the entire thing. I read about half to 3/4 the exhibits (and did not play the game in the interactive room) and it took me about 2 hours to go through the entire thing. It can also get somewhat crowded so you might have to wait to get close enough to an exhibit to see it. Do not get there early. They do not let you in before the start time on your ticket. There are a few places to stop and sit in various rooms but not many. I do think if you're someone who is mobility impaired, they would probably be fine but you do have to do considerable walking given there are 40 distinct rooms and over 150 exhibits. At the end, there's a merch shop with shot glasses, coffee mugs, towels, books, etc. but it's pretty basic, overpriced stuff and it's mostly just the logo of the exhibit. Honestly, it's dark. Not just in the sense that all the exhibits are so poorly lit you can barely read them, but the content is as well. It's just a lot of information about torture and murder that in the span of two hours, it kind of becomes overload. At least it did for me and I'm someone who falls asleep to ID Discovery murder shows most nights. Some of it felt exploitational and salacious even though there's a wall at the end that shows pictures of some of the victims-- it kind of felt like an afterthought. I thought I'd like it more than I did, but I left feeling a little yucky and I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know (except for killers in other countries). read more

OhEmGee! I had the opportunity to experience the Golden Girls Kitchen and all I can say is WOWSERS!!!! The real life home (likeness) experience of Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia curated into the Golden Girls Kitchen was absolutely breathtaking. Ever since I saw the page on Instagram, I had to go. I was so close to flying to Florida for the experience, then boom. I saw it was coming to Atlanta. I immediately signed up for the email blast to be alerted and was patiently waiting. Ok, I'm lying. I was anything but patient. lol! In any case, when Golden Girls Kitchen hit Atlanta, I got my tickets via Bucketlist, which was a smooth process. Shout out to bucketlist for making the purchase process straight forward and simple. I was alerted, clicked, purchased, paid, and was all set. The reminder was imported to my iCal and Outlook and I was good to go. Arriving at the Golden Girls Kitchen was a process somewhat as Pullman Yard was full of events. I decided to do street parking as the main parking area was full and I was unaware that the Golden Girls Kitchen which was housed in Building 4 had its own parking area. There could have been better communication with this specific element as it would have been a huge benefit for my arrival process. Nonetheless, I parked and was on my way. The Golden Girls Kitchen: From the front door I was all smiles. The beautiful portraits outside of the girls are amazing. I meant absolutely well crafted and beautifully designed. The glass front allows you to get a feel for the glamour of the inside before you get in so your mood is automatically set. Arriving 15 minutes early as suggested on the tickets, I walked in and headed to the hostess stand. I waited a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me, however, I was able to take in the sights as I waited. Once I was greeted, my ticket was scanned and my table of 4 was checked. 4 menus were grabbed and we were taken to our table. The main area housed the main attraction of the legendary kitchen. Oh yes! It takes up the entire back wall. Gorgeous. The area I was seated in housed Blanche's bedroom. Yes! I literally ate in Blanche's bedroom. It was so cozy and cute. It had the true Miami feel and the grown woman touch I would expect from Blanche. I see why all the men of Miami wanted to be in her bedroom. lol. The back area is where the living room was. Oh my gosh! The living room. The iconic living room. I was waiting for Stan to knock on the door and say, "Hi. It's me, Stan!" If you are a Golden Girls fan, the Golden Girls Kitchen is for you. From the moment I walked in I couldn't close my mouth. I was in such awe of the moment. The history. The beauty. The richness of the laughter. The episodes that played in my mind. They even have the favorite one liners from the cast on the walls. I'm talking about a true Golden Girls experience. Whoever created the Golden Girls Kitchen understood that it was more than just a show. They took the time to feed the culture as they fed our stomachs. Oh yeah, I almost forgot... The Cheesecake is the bombbbbbbbbbb. I couldn't choose just one so I ordered the flight and got all of them (bite sized pieces) and I still couldn't choose a favorite. I see why there was always a cheesecake in the fridge. lol!!!! Hear me when I say, the Golden Girls Kitchen was a time of all times. A moment. A conversation for friends. Very interesting local! An old wear house district that has been turned into some interesting venues. A show care, a museum of serial killers, a restaurant and more. We saw a show called after dark that was a mix or acrobatics, comedy, music, and sexy people! The set up was minimalist but very cool! The parking was all over the place but good, and there is a restaurant on site. It was a bit away from me but well worth the drive. The show was GREAT... and I'd recommend anyone that is not a prude go and see it. I like this area and will look to come back again. read more

I did run into some issues with my headset however one of the employees was quick to help me and give me a new headset so I can finish the phase that I was in. I had a great time visiting the Golden Girls pop-up. The location was great, and parking was convenient. The staff appeared friendly and welcoming. While I didn't enjoy some of the dishes that were served, I did love the fries, and the drinks were okay. Parking costs $7 per hour or $20 per day. Went here for the serial killer museum show they had, this thing was pretty morbid, but pretty cool as well. There was a bunch of shows showing the history and human interest in killers and serial killers as well as memorabilia directly linked to some of the killers or recovered at the scenes. This was def worth it, but caution it is dark. This place though looks like a great place for venues and concerts and is in a great area of town. read more

We came to the Serial Killer Exhibition and we loved it. The content on it was really amazing and interesting. I must say the parking fee was a bit pricey to be honest but I guess it's either the location or perhaps they take advantage of the specific event/s happening there to charge more. I do have to say the amount of people in the rooms at times was a bit overwhelming and annoying. I feel as if somehow they should control how they distribute the traffic when sending people in. Golden girls brunch was HORRIBLE. My friend had hair in her bacon. It took them 35 mins to acknowledge us once we sat down. Our reservation was at 12:30 and it's 2:14 and one of our friends still doesn't have her food. They kept getting the drink orders wrong. Our waitress barely came to check on us. Went to the Serial Killer Museum it is so hokey 40 walk thru rooms of posters on the wall and almost all the artifacts in cheap plexiglass cases and say "Replica." It is so dark inside you can't even see to read the posters. When you arrive you scan a QR code to pay for parking we did then they sent us an additional invoice from ParkDNA for $89.99 almost as much as our three tickets. We where there 2 1/2 hrs which got really boring after an hour so we just ran thru the rest I do not recommend use your $$$ on something else trust me!! read more

Parking $7/hour for what??? Restaurant footprints not open, ticketing hut not open, lemonade stand not open, no restrooms, no water, just a desolate place. The event itself was great while overpriced, but Pullman Yards has a LONG way to go. Or maybe the goal isn't to be a destination for locals and visitors alike. Today I went to the Serial Killer exhibit at Pullman Yards and it was a delightful experience. You have to pay to park, 3 hours was 21$ pretty steep but it's Atlanta. The exhibit was interesting, there is 40 rooms and A LOT to read but it is very detailed with some great replicas of items used in some murders, with also some real items as well which is cool to see. You are able to take pics which is great but no flash of course and there are plenty of selfie areas as well to take pics with serial killer memorabilia. The gift shop was just ok it was lacking in my open and the prices were high but you can find some neat stuff for a souvenir. It was worth the money if you are interested in serial killer stuff. read more

We went to the Serial Killer Exhibition. Overall the content was fine, but there were a couple of very serious problems with the venue. First, our tickets were for the 10:30 a.m. showing. The problem? They don't open the doors until 11:00 a.m. Of course, nobody tells you that, nor do they tell you it is "rolling admissions" where they just let a certain number of people in every 15 minutes or so. This also means that since we got there at 10:20, we started paying for hourly parking then. So we spent 40 minutes paying $7/hour for parking while we waited for them to unlock the doors at 11 for the 10:30 showing. Next, the inside of the exhibit is very dark, which is not inappropriate, but the information about the various exhibits was VERY difficult to read in such low light. I considered breaking out my small flashlight to see better, but I didn't want to mess it up for other guests. It was pretty crowded even for midday on a Friday. Most the artifacts were simply letters or other correspondence written by various killers, but the lighting was so dim, they proved almost impossible to decipher. Lastly, and this is not the fault of the exhibition, but it was Friday and it was Ramadan, so there were 10,000+ Muslims in the area next door celebrating. Traffic was horrendously bad even for ATL, but it was all cleared out by about 11:00, which of course is when we should have been told to arrive. read more

But today I got a letter stating I owed $85.00 for parking at the exhibit. is this some kind of scam going on? Some kind of extortion? Edit: Previous stars were 1 because of the company they were paired with for parking. I still believe DNA parking thay is used for Pullman events can damper the reputation of Pullman. However, Pullman was very responsive to my concerns. In addition, Pullman itself is a great space and brings unique events. Welcome to the "South's premier destination for entertainment." At the end of March, we went there for "Asian Night Market." There were 3 food trucks at varying degrees of openness. Last Thursday, we tried again for "Skate Night." We were meeting friends with kids who drove their kids to the city immediately after school from various OTP areas in traffic. Well, there was no skating that day. It had been cancelled. Nothing on the website, nothing in a message when you call and no sign letting you know when you get there. I know because I checked before I asked friends to drive all the way to the city in rush hour traffic. I'd avoid this mess. It's poorly managed. read more
