When we drove it off the lot the check engine light immediately came on after the car got heated up, we shut it off at a gas station and it wouldn't start back up. We then called Vee and he had us tow it back to his shop which we had to pay the tow fee. He fixed it twice within one day which he printed us out a paper with a manifold code, both times the light came back as we left the lot. We then called and again and Vee told us once we got the title from the dmv he would refund the money. We then let the car sit for two weeks waiting on the title, contacted the dmv along with the state attorney to see if there were any other options. We received the title through the mail, went up to get the refund and vee immediately said no and wanted to fix it again. We dropped it off and he had it for a week. For the week he wouldn't answer any phone calls and he closed shop, we called the dmv and the cops and he finally let us have the car back after speaking with the dmv and again, after driving off the lot the engine light came on and we were forced the bring it back a fourth time. For the last time we dropped it off as we went camping, picked it up six days later and he didnt start to work on it yet. I immediately told them to put it back together and wanted it that day, I told them I'll get it fixed at a dealership and sue them for the cost, they refused to give the car back and my girlfriend and I were forced to wait infront of their dealership for three hours to get the car back. We've tried to get a refund from him or a car of equal value, he declined everything. I then wrote a review on his page and his response was I was a scammer and a Crack head. He also stated I tried to destroy the car to keep the cash from the bank and they would repo the car from him which would then put him at a loss of 6000. I wouldn't even entertain that response. This review isnt to bash him or his dealership but it is a warning to get your car looked at by a mechanic.

It certainly made the wait enjoyable having access to things other than my phone. Back at my hometown dealership, all you had was a chair and a view of the receptionist at work zZzzZz. Their prices maybe a bit on the higher end of things. I needed a hubcap for my car and their price was roughly 100% greater than what it costed me to just buy it online. Yes, that is double retail value. Can't blame them though for trying to make money. From the quality of service and care, I wouldn't even mind paying for it.

When I once again recited my situation, I was told to get in asap and they would help me. I didn't realize that the gentleman behind the counter no longer worked in the garage but at the front desk and he personally took care of my RV. It turned out that my starter was fine and it was most likely due to humidity while camping in upstate NY. After over an hour of looking over my vehicle, they said all was fine and there would be no charge. They filled up my suspension airbags, gave me a business card and told me to call if there are any further problems. Oh! And one of the guys was making a food run and asked me if I wanted anything. I can't tell you how relieved I was that they made time to see me and how kind they were while there. And a bonus for a garage, the bathroom was CLEAN.

Their prices are more reasonable. But if you're after ice cream or hot foods this is t that place. The woman behind the counter was so nice, we ended up in such a pleasant conversation. She treated me like I come there every day. She even said on my way out. "It was nice bonding with you" which I found super sweet. Their bathroom is an outdoor outhouse which is not ideal. That is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I didn't need to use the restroom, so I cannot attest to how clean it is. But definitely worth noting. Coolant did not solve the problem so I took it to Featherlys. Their diagnosis ? A housing for the coolant line where it enters the engine needed to be replaced. $1400. Luckily I know a Honda mechanic so I had the car taken to him. He replaced a hose and a clamp. Total cost: $54. Car is running perfectly now. He laughed out loud when I told him about the $1400 bid from Featherlys. He said the part they wanted to replace --unnecessarily--costs about $300 and takes about two hours to install. So a more accurate bid would have been $480, $300 for the part and $90/hour for labor. To add insult to injury, Featherlys charged me $90 just to look at my car and claimed they needed to buy a part to do so. I will avoid these guys in the future.
