Apparently, the next day he was outside and I was not aware; finally, I looked at my messages 30 minutes after the fact, he had left. You see, I was told their technicians are not allowed to ring doorbells and they advise when the tech is on property. I was working and not on my phone as I mentioned, so how would I know he was here. I was told I had to pay a cancellation fee of $40.00, but I had not cancelled the appointment! I did not know he was here waiting for me to acknowledge him when no one called or rang the doorbell. Lastly, because I had paid, the tech returned later in the day to put my car back the way he found it, however the new gear shifter, still not working! Unbelievable! When a mechanic is replacing a new part, is it not part of the job to make sure that part is working as it should before they can say the job is complete? Their customer service is piss poor and they advised me of their idiot rule after the fact! No, I would not recommend them!

I brought my 2018 Porsche Macan in for a check engine light and was told it needed four cam magnets, and I paid them approx. $3,000 for parts and labor. I was also warned that if the light came back, I'd be looking at a massive timing chain repair with 40+ labor hours--essentially a scare tactic for an extremely expensive future repair. After picking the car up, I drove it less than 20 miles. On the second short drive, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, the car began shaking, and it was clearly unsafe to drive. I had it towed to a Porsche dealer. The dealer immediately told me the issue couldn't even be properly diagnosed because non-Porsche (non-OEM) parts had been installed by Rocco's. They replaced those parts with OEM Porsche parts, performed the same repair, and charged me $600 LESS than Rocco's did. The car now drives perfectly. I returned the removed non-OEM parts to Rocco's along with the dealer's invoice clearly showing: * The same repair * OEM parts * Lower cost * Proper diagnosis and resolution Despite all of this, Rocco's refused to refund anything from their original repair. Paying more for inferior, non-OEM parts that failed almost immediately--and then refusing to stand behind the work--is unacceptable. If you own a German car, especially a Porsche, take it somewhere that uses the correct parts and stands behind their repairs. This shop does neither. Save yourself the time, money, and stress. Go elsewhere.

Made an appointment to have fluids changed. Arrived on time. Waited an hour and no one had even…read morelooked at my car. Instead, I was told "we have to check your car to make sure it's safe for us to work on." I said there's no reason why you cannot work on my car. They never checked to fluids but gave me an estimate for nearly $2,000 for 2 fluid changes: differential and transmission. It was a wasted morning. I went elsewhere and got the fulids changed for less than $500.

He told me since it was an older car (1997) that I should take it to Nissan and have them do a diagnostic. Nissan did a diagnostic and it was in the area that Sid first diagnosed but now Sid knew for sure exactly what had to be replaced. Nissan was twice the price for the same job. Since I managed a call center, I'm compassionate to phone issues, but Comcast issues have nothing to do with tone and how you answer a phone. Comcast issues have nothing to do with how you choose to follow up and resolve an issue. I keep receipts for everything, just in case people like this owner pop up on Yelp all late and wrong to save face. Not only was the reality of the situation rude, their recollection is rude too. There was no PHONE CALL, it was text and there were no other words used that this owner can't repeat. The proof is in the text. I politely declined their business and took my money elsewhere. Just take the feedback and improve on your business, don't gaslight yelp and try to deflect at the expense of my credibility. It furthers my point without me even trying.
