They took Apple Pay as a form of payment which was super convenient. The waiting area itself is kind of small, but they having some seating outside as well. The parking here gets packed as well. I had to park on the street and walk about to 2 mins to get there, so it wasn't anything crazy. Overall, great experience! I've been recommending this place to everyone lately.

Kind of disorganized since people didnt really line-up like instructed, and staff member wasnt keeping track of who came first. So I would recommend, if you can, going with someone so that one of you can get the form to fill out and the other can hold your pet. Just from experience, since mine was too anxious to get close and then some people didnt leash their dogs/kitties. But I came and received my pups low cost vaccines and the vet(vet tech?) was super gentle with her. Pretty much took only 45 minutes. And I received my booklet and receipt of the services I took. They accepted cash and credit card. Please note, credit card use has an additional charge.

They are open every week on Wednesday's and Thursdays from 9-11am and Saturday's from 8-10am. Every week there are different opportunities given to participate in whether it involves bagging rice, beans or fruit or packing care packages which are sent to local churches or out to different countries for those in need. They didn't even explain that I'd have to pay so much for all these tests. I'm an independent college student who has to pay rent monthly. This is a months rent for me. To top it off, the staff weren't as friendly when I called them to ask them to help me out. I had to call my insurance & tell them what happened because the lady at front desk wouldn't do a code review until my insurance told me. I would never go back to a clinic who calls themselves "community" but they are really just another industry trying to make more money. Not to mention, they never told me my results in a professional manner, I had to call & ask them to give me the name of the tests & the result. Absolutely ridiculous. They had even messed up one of my test results saying "there was a problem." So they didn't know what my result was. Never going back!

I advised them to at least notify on their website to avoid making the trip out there. I then attempted to donate a few months later, again, no answer on the phone. Once I arrived they said they extended not accepting donations for a few more months because they were still full. After a few more months, I attempted one more time. Only to arrive and find out there was no staff available (during regular business hours) due to an off-site training! Needless to say, their communication could be better. It took 4 separate visits to finally be able to donate. With all that being said, I hope the clothes go to people who really need it and it helps them in their journey.

Motivation I love the entire concept of this organization. It is challenging for the impoverished to get access to fresh fruit and produce. A low income man in the Midwest a few months ago went to the hospital and was diagnosed with Scurvy! Yes, like the pirates illness. Why? He was only eating cheap, frozen meals 3x a day for the past 18 mos., no fruit or produce, and was severely vitamin C deficient! MDs diagnosis, not mine. Access to healthy fruits and veggies is critical to health but can be challenging given the expense. In comes hero organization Food Forward! They pair up with local home owners who have excess fruit or veggies. They have volunteers come out to "pick" their excess fruit. The fruit is then taken to local food banks in the area and distributed outward. How cool is that? I spent 1.5 hrs with them picking grapefruit in Woodland Hills. It was such a fun way to volunteer my time but manageable enough to fit into my schedule. I loved it and look forward to volunteer with this terrific organization again in the future. I got to work with them at their annual summer harvest at CSUN in Northridge, in two hours we gathered 5000 pounds of oranges to benefit MEND poverty in Pacoima, Family rescue center in Canoga Park, and Seeds of Hope in Los Angeles through the Episcopal Church.
