Spring only in Knutson Farms!…read more Tulip town in the south, our go to destination for every Spring. this is the second time we are here and we love it. what we love is the number of activities to keep the my toddler occupied - the cycle track, large bouncy area, bubbles spot, the new hay pyramid was a welcome addition, the barn and the cute animals, the corn pit, the tractor ride to the tulip farm. the tulip farm isn't as grand as the skagit valley but does pleases you heart especially with small props like benches that are kept on the field. the flowers display throughout the farm is very cute. the food scenes could be improved with more additions. the restrooms are the cleanest porta potty you can find on any farm! the lemonade stand is amazing. the OG lemonade is without much sugar and tastes perfect. buying ticket online is recommended as it gives you faster access to the farm than waiting in the line to buy the ticket. plenty of parking available!

We visited this pumpkin patch in October and absolutely loved it. There were plenty of fun rides…read morefor the kids, including tractor rides, horse-drawn rides, and barrel rides. The property is large, spacious, and very well maintained. There were also great food options on site, like roasted corn, apple cider donuts, and a small coffee shop. The pumpkin selection was huge, and the corn mazes and bounce houses kept the kids entertained for hours. Overall, this has become our favorite pumpkin patch and our go-to spot every fall.

Our annual Christmas tree hunt goes not farther than Schilter Family Farm…read more The Thanksgiving week end usually slams this tree farm. However, we always find a quality Noble fir if even we have to hunt a bit. This year was REALLY unusual. The Monday after T Day we went with the idea we'd have to spend time searching. The most helpful young man pointed us to a new field of Nobles. And there, no more than 10 feet in from the path was IT (visions of Clark Griswold!). There were countless more even after that Turkey Day rush. The same man came by in his tractor and asked if he could cut it down for us. He had a chain saw. I had a hand saw. No brainer!! The service and selection are first class. Topping this off is the gift shop, where you pay, has all sorts of Christmas related things, including fresh wreaths (which we bought)

Definitely deserving of a spot in the top 10 pumpkin patches in Washington!…read more I've been going to pumpkin patches almost yearly since I was 4 so I consider myself somewhat of an expert. Here's my highs and lows and good enoughs: 5 Stars to: -Plenty of Photo setup spots -Apple cider slush sundae -FRESH & HOT Roasted Corn -Many adult AND kid friendly activities -pumpkin assortment 1 Star for: -No back up generator (Power went out while at the farm and the poor animals were huddled up closer than the people were) -flavorless burgers 2.5 stars (aka good enough) for: -cold apple cider donuts -friendly but antisocial staff -gift shop (Felt more like a very small, 'small business' fair) I think the ticket price was a decent value for what was available!

i love IKEA whether i'm actually shopping or just wandering around for fun, it's always a good…read moretime. there's so much variety when it comes to furniture and decor, and honestly, my entire room is from ikea, which says a lot about how much i love it. everything is affordable in my opinion and good quality as well. a bang for your buck i'd like to say. this visit, i finally tried their famous swedish meatballs and i really liked them. my boyfriend wasn't into it at all, but it hit for me. it lowkey reminded me of the tv dinners i grew up eating in the best, most comforting way. nothing fancy, just simple and satisfying. but usually i always end up with their ice cream cones for $1.50 after spending $500 on furniture lol

When did IKEA get this expensive? I have to admit I was a big fan of this store years ago, since…read morethey updated their building I don't go as much as I don't like the set up and honestly I haven't needed new furniture I quite a while. We went the other night, stopped at the restaurant first so my husband could eat some meatballs and I just ordered a side of mash and gravy. The meatballs were gross, the mash was bland but also had a funky taste. They do still have some good things like kitchenwares, those little heart cookies with the chocolate in the middle, frames, and some of their furniture that happens to be made of wood is still decent but even that it's become so flimsy. I went up to a curio cabinet I've seen before and just opening the doors and drawers you could tell the wood was thinner, flimsy and of course $100 more than last time I saw it. Everything is overpriced, cheaply made, and it kind of broke my heart because I loved that store. I collected their catalogues and still have them from 1999 until they stopped printing them.
