I ordered online - It is the most disappointing $90 I have spent. The flowers were wilting, there was 1/4" of water in the vase at delivery. the design looked like it a jumbled afterthought made with whatever flowers were leftover. It doesn't appear any care was put into this arrangement. It is the saddest looking arrangement. That was my first time and will be my last. I should have read the reviews and stuck with my normal florist. It would have been better to drive 30 min out of the way and receive a beautiful arrangement vs what arrived at a much higher cost. read more

I ordered an InCasket satin white pillow, blue white flowers, yellow Ribbon with "SON" on it. Ir did not even look like the size of the one they showed me (much smaller) and there was NO Yellow ribbon saying "SON". When I complained by phone to them they sent me a picture of what it looked like. That picture isNOT what was delivered to my Son's Funera My first and LASTl dealings with Purrer's ! I ordered a flowering plant (special order) from them for a funeral, but they had to use another florist in a different town. The plant was embarrassingly small and I was furious! I called the people at Puffer's and they were very apologetic about the situation and refunded our payment completely so I could give it to the grieving family. I'm very happy with the way I was treated. read more

Over the years I've ordered flowers for various occasions from puffers frequently. But I've never actually been inside until today. It smells amazing when you first walk in there's so many interesting beautiful things to look at I spent an hour just wandering around. Yvonne the owner was nice enough to give us a donation for my sick friends benefit. I've become an instant fan! I'll definitely be back to do some Christmas shopping for my girlfriends. I have used this florist several times. I don't even live in this part of the country. I call them, tell them what I want to spend, give them an idea of what I'm looking for, and they always come through. Never had a failed delivery or an unhappy recipient. If only they did pizza. read more

Their wedding designer, Amber, was so helpful when I got married, and she did such a fabulous job bringing my wedding vision to life! Worst experience with a florist. I placed my order online for Monday delivery. I called Monday morning to add additional family members names to the card; instead of adding the names, they replaced the original names with these. Therefore, when the peace lily was delivered it seemed as though the flowers were only from one group of family members (not even my side who originally ordered the plant). My husband called and the lady said supposedly the original names were never on the card. If that's the case, then Puffers you need to fix your online order system because our names were included. The lady apologized and said they would send a card out the next day with the original names added. That's all the offered. They actually delivered another peace lily the next day, which was huge and DYING! Seriously?? I wanted to support a local business, but regret it as they delivered poor quality and experience. I would have rather spent double the money to go with a company that delivered as ordered and sent quality plants. Do yourself a favor and keep on shopping!! read more

I ordered a 35.00 dollar arrangement for Mother's Day. I asked that three rainbow roses be included in the arrangement and at 6.00 a stem that left 17.00 for flowers and I would assume a 30% fee for labor. I don't feel like I recieved that. I work at a flower shop myself, so while I know that isn't a lot of money to work with, I also know that what she recieved was a bit of a mess that might have been cute in 1984, but not in 2012. I feel like they could have done a much better job. read more

The "Puffers Girls" are truly wizards when it comes to knowing what is hot and in vogue. Between my two children this is my third Homecoming dance order this season and I never have to question that their dates will be happy with the end product! Easily the best florist in Lorain county, some of the best floral design work I've ever seen. They also have a ridiculous variety of gifts and clothing, handmade cards for any occasion, chocolates, jewelry. Seriously, go in and take a good look around, there is a ton of stuff in that little store. Puffers designers have provided beautiful floral arrangements for 6 funerals for my family over the years not to mention the countless flowers and gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, mothersdays, new babies, a sick friend that needed cheering up. I ordered flowers for my niece's funeral. I can only assume that they thought I wouldn't attend it. Well I did and the arrangement I received was 60% SMALLER than what I purchased online. When I called they said that they are allowed to substitute flowers for in season. I'm ok with that, but not putting 10 flowers in a 5 inch vase and calling it a funeral spray basket. I placed 2 orders for $900.00 worth of flowers for my dad's funeral ( 2 standing, 1 vase, and casket spray). The day I placed the order the designers weren't available to help me. Instead, I had someone who couldn't keep straight the colors and the different arrangements. The associate just kept reciting to me the price per stem and getting lost on how many different flowers I needed to get ordered. For this occasion, for me, money wasn't part of the conversation--style, type, and color were. The next issue was every arrangement I stopped on in the FTD book, I was told they couldn't get a particular flower. Two examples arw gladiolus or callas. Two of the 4 arrangements came as requested and the third was simply a disgrace. There were ten flowers in a standing spray for $150.00. It was like because they were asked to use substitutes they couldn't figure out how to complete the arrangement without their display by numbers FTD guide. As for the casket spray, it was anemic at best. When the casket was closed it by far didn't look like a full coach. I would not recommend this business to anyone; especially, since there were other florists such as West River Florist and Flowerama who delivered outstanding products. read more

I ordered on the website an early mother's day gift, White Daisy Basket and Suzin L candy/edibles. This was available in multiple colors and i said to design anything that looked nice. My mom was surprised at her work by a colorful daisy basket in white yellow and purple, SO BEAUTIFUL i am looking at the pic now. Mom said she cried when she got it. I placed an order online for Mother's Day this year as my mom lives Elyria and I live in California. I received confirmation e-mail as soon as the order was placed. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday, 5/11. This was also confirmed in the e-mail. Saturday arrives, flowers do not get delivered. Sunday comes and goes, no delivery. My wife finally called to find out what had happened, they had no real explanation. Refunded the money. Thanks for RUINING Mother's Day, Puffer's! read more

By far the least value for my money for flowers. I called and had flowers delivered to my Mom's for Christmas. I spent a total of $73.48 and was stunned at the pathetic bunch of flowers I saw when I arrived on Christmas day. I buy flowers all of the time. My wife loves them. I spent the same amount on another friend with another florist and the size difference is a factor of 4. I have pictures . For $73.48 delivered my Mom got 5 roses, 5 carnations, a vase and some baby's breath. The worst bang for the buck ever. I guess when I called from out of state they knew they could stick it to me. read more

The employees are so rude and not helpful. The arrangement was half dead. The employees acted clueless half the time. Don't bother!
