We have not been to this restaurant in a long time. We were greeted at the door entering and every staff member within their roles greeted us and said thank you for coming! The service was spectacular throughout the meal! My food was great- my only complaint was that the butterfly shrimp had their entire shell still on. It never fails that when we order for take out, they will somehow forget something. Tonight, they forgot the tortilla for the queso fundido - the tortilla is half of that dish. And they forgot the request to have an extra salsa. This is is an example of multiple issues with past orders. Very sloppy. Mexican street corn comes with an odd number of corns... why 3?, also not very flavorful, needed more parmesan. the street corn needed more street. 3. 1 pea had the fish tacos; they were mid to say the least. ehh could've been more flavorful. 4 the other pea had the steak fajitas, very small portion of meat and sides, NO SAUCE AT ALL!!! Great Mexican food is hard to come by, so when we find it I always have to talk about it. We've tried to come here a few times but they tend to be very busy, so definitely call ahead and make a reservation (especially if it's a Friday or Saturday night.) Coming in, you'll notice the beautiful bar area, that's somewhat secluded from the rest of the booths and tables. Some seats can fit 2 people while other tables can fit a large party, so it's definitely a great spot to have a date night or have a get together with some friends. Our waitress was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable with the menu, she was able to answer any questions we had. One thing that stood out to us was that our chips, salsa and drinks were never empty. They were quick to make sure everything was always refilled and it's the little details like that that really make the experience even better overall. The food was great as well, everything was fresh and flavorful and piping hot. There wasn't a single thing we didn't like. We went out for lunch on a rainy Saturday. The place wasn't too busy, maybe because of the rain. The restaurant was classy and clean; love the wall of candles. It really makes the place feel romantic. This was a pretty spacious restaurant too. They dropped off complimentary chips and salsa; the chips were super fresh and warm, the salsa was ok. We started off with the classic margaritas which were good. The waitress asked if we wanted large or small, we opted for large but didn't realize the price difference. A small was $11 and a large was $19; we probably should've looked at the price before purchasing it but it was a big margarita and it was good. I decided to get the super nachos as my meal because I love loaded nachos. This had fresh tortilla chips, ground beef, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. I thought it was pretty big and I got full off of it; I actually took the rest home. I had a bite of my husband's burrito and that was really good. Next time, I want to try out their combination meal, you have a choice between one, two, or three. You can pick burrito, enchilada, tostada, etc. The service was quick and attentive. Overall, a good Mexican restaurant in the area and I look forward to going back. read more

My family celebrated my Mothers 70th Birthday here yesterday. Our waiter, Salvatory helped make it such a fun, funny & special time. He went above and beyond to make our celebration wonderful. Salvatory put a flower in our margaritas, and at the end of our meal, he came with the whole crew, a Mexican hat for my Mom to wear, what appeared to be a Roman candle shooting off it's sparks, a beautifully decorated happy birthday plate and dessert. All the waiters & waitresses clapped & sang Happy Birthday which topped off our celebration in the best of ways. We keep coming back and enjoying our dining experiences here. And once again, we're not going to get into the argument over what constitutes "authentic" Mexican dishes. Suffice to day that in our view this is simply a restaurant that serves consistently tasty dishes with excellent service. We remain fond of the pico and guacamole. Our most recent trip included the delicious Ceviche and a slightly spicy pollo Aasado. The prices are quite reasonable, and they are still making very appealing margaritas.
