Public supermarkets are all very good for good produce and gourmet food. The deli is excellent and Publix brand items like their sliced turkey, are often better than name brand meats like Boar's head. Sub sandwiches are excellent and hot soups made daily are delicious. Great thing about Publix as a whole is there consistency across the board. Sure there prices are a little higher but the overall experience is a typically a little better. The staff is friendly and helpful, the stores are clean and the service is better than the competition. While this store is not completely an exception, it is definitely lacking in a few key areas. First, employees used to greet customers anytime they encounter a customer in the store. That doesn't typically happen. Online orders (sandwiches) would be correct and ready at the requested time. Hasn't been happening. 4 of the last 6 orders I have made, were not ready on time and 2 times the sandwich was not prepared correctly. Then watching the staff make sandwiches is pretty disheartening. They kinda just through the ingredients together. There doesn't seem to be any kind of pride or standard within this department and that also carries over to the attitudes of the people working in that department. More often than not I hear the folks in this department complaining about each other or others. This has been going on for months and nothing is changing. Hopefully, this store will reintroduce the Publix standard and hold start holding there employees accountable. The customers will definitely appreciate it! read more

I have shopped at Publix supermarkets since Mr. Jenkins was alive. I have never in my life experienced such a horrible store as this one. Their employees are really rude, in particular today I went to the pharmacy and I guy with earrings in his ear named Charles was so rude to me about a prescription that I did not pick up and I had to get it refilled again. I've had a lot of health issues lately and when I tried to explain it to him, he was just rude. .Doesn't smile and he was talking about me to another pharmacy tech. I will never be back in this store again and someone needs to do something about Charles, because another customer was telling me the same thing about him being rude and condescending.. This pharmacy gives out the wrong prescribed meds and is going to kill someone. They will not send you to a ER or doctor, they will not give you the pharmacist name, and/or last name. They will say, you will be fine, it's just someone else prescription we gave you, no big deal. Maybe they went to med school and have memorized your medical chart for the last 50 years. Check all you meds from this pharmacy, they will give you someone meds with the same last name. The pharmacist will then not give you their name, and/or full name. The Publix manager will not report to corporate or the state. Then, you have to contact Publix corporate, and they will just try to pay you off with a non disclosure agreement. Publix only cares about the bottom line and it's liability, they will let you suffer and die, and you will never hear from them again. Report all issues to the state, they already have two cases pending. Publix is the Walmart of grocery stores in Florida, no real competition with super high prices! read more

Have been a regular weekly shopper at Gall location for years. Went this morning, lines at checkout were a bit long so was told to move into 10 item lane. I asked if she was sure and she said yes. Was greeted by the cashier with a nasty glance and "that's a lot more than 10 items". Explained I was told to move into that lane....no response. Will be moving my $250 per week spend there elsewhere immediately...very poor customer service for a company that supposedly prides itself on that. read more

Came here to get ingredients for my kids! It was meal prepping day. This week they choose meals that needed veggies and a variety of proteins. I love publix when taking the kids shopping. The staff is always friendly to them. Plus, who doesn't live a free cookie. First on our adventure was asparagus. They had a good selection of quality bunches. This made it easy to show the kids how to pick out the best bunch. Next, we needed zucchini. The kids looked at the cooking app which has a shopping list and needed 6 medium zucchini. The selection was once again high quality which made it simple. Now. We were in the hunt for protein. The kids were looking through the beef section for sirloin steak to go with the other ingredients. What luck?!?!? It was on sale for a fantastic price which made mommy happy. Then comes the seafood protein of salmon. The kids love ordering from the seafood counter as the staff there are kind and listen to their needs so they get the perfect items for their cooking. I love how clean the store is, the happy staff from start to finish, and the sales on high quality products. read more

Too bad there are no Publix stores where I live. I would shop at one for sure. This store is very nice, clean and well stocked. The prices are a bit higher than Walmart but, if you are careful you can find some real deals by using their coupons and sale items. My favorite section is the bakery. The fresh baked bread is the best. The private label ice cream is also better than anything else out there. read more

Customer service is waning at this location. I went in to buy a sandwich and a small thing of dog food- well under $10. I needed to pay with a roll of quarters and was refused, told they would not accept my change. I guess if you are having a hard time and can only use American coins to pay you are not welcome. Publix is clean and organized- as always. Kind people with the exception of Sage at the Deli. Incredibly rude attitude, and complained about being there- very loudly in front of customers. Saying things like how he was purposely "trying to clean and remove things to make it look like they were closed, so that people would stop coming". I understand being frustrated, I work retail. I get it. But talking poorly about customers directly in front of them? On purpose? Have some professionalism. read more

Very good subs, made the way you want. They don't skimp on the toppings. Grocery prices are good but try to get the buy one get one deals. They are hard to beat. Store is clean and employees are for the most part friendly and helpful. read more

It's a 5 Star store, despite what some woman said about a butcher being "sexist," which really just sounds like somebody is being a little too sensitive. No offence lady but I don't think a butcher was hitting on you. Meat .. check the expiry dates. read more

I heart Publix lol. They consistantly have the freshest produce. I went for lunch and had some juicy watermelon and fresh cut papaya. My coworker got some fried chicken and the legs looked like they were on steroids- very big, not like other supermaket deli fried chicken. read more

I also heart Publix!! Especially this Publix. The managers and employees are always friendly and helpful, and their produce is by far the best of any grocery store in town. The chain gets a bad rap for being "expensive", but if you shop smart and match coupons to sales, it's the best deal in town for price and quality. read more

I absolutely love to buy my food and my lottery here. There is no doubt that the energy of the poeple that are around your food is in your food and I can definitely tell a difference. I have a little trouble with Gluten and Publix is the only place that marks the shelves this way. They have many many gluten free choices and have even ordered things for me so I didn't have to go all the way to Nutrition Smart to pick something up. You may pay a tiny bit more, but I know that I am worth the money for quality food, plus with BOGO deals, it evens out. read more

The new store is very clean, and the staff is very helpful. When waiting in line at the deli, they offer slices to try. The baked goods are fantastic, and they can accommodate last minute requests. I like how fresh their produce is. They also offer free oral antibiotics in their pharmacy (certain ones). The prices on things can be a little more than the store across the street, but worth it to not have to fight the crowds in the winter. read more
