In my 2 years of living in Miami, I never had a Pub sub, but have heard so much about them, so knew it was a must-stop! I ordered the Sweet Peach Heat Chicken Tender Sub. I thought the peach sauce for the chicken was a nice mix of sweet and tangy as well as a little bit of spice. I wish they added more crispy jalapeños, because mine only had a few. Overall, the price was good for the size, and they had a meal option as well. I would be interested in trying the wrap version next time as well as trying the other specials they had. read more

No issues with parking and has the majority of items selected from The weekly ad / App. The BOBOs are a plus and if they are out of an item no issues with getting a raincheck. Publix Super Markets - Made awful - Grocery Near Me - Tequesta, Florida

I've been to so many Publix locations and all of them are so great. NOT THIS ONE! The deli is a mess, the hot bar is a mess, the customer service is a mess. I order online for a sub or wrap or something of that sort on my lunch break and literally every single time the requested item is late. Not just a couple minutes either, I'm talking 15-20 sometimes 30-40 minutes. I've complained to customer service multiple times with no avail. I've complained at the deli to which they just brush me off and nothing changes. There is no sense of urgency at all and at this point it's straight up disrespectful. Today I waited 30 minutes for my wrap and they literally brought a 12:45 ticket out to the rack. Guess when mine was supposed to be ready...yeah 12:15. I'm over this store completely and won't be burning my mental over this s*** anymore. F*** county line Publix and all of its employees. read more

I'm not sure why this particular Publix has such poor reviews, but my personal experience here has been outstanding. This is my go to Publix, mainly due to distance. Nonetheless, I have been here more times than I can count, and each time I have had a pleasant experience. Every single person that I have spoken to who works here is extremely friendly and kind, and what speaks more is that they all seem to have a passion to be this way. Their deli is always wonderful, their produce fresh and long lasting, and their deals (when they have them) are unbeatable. For instance, it's buy two, get two free on certain sodas that even blows Costco's prices out of the water. Of course, in general they are in the pricier side, but you always know you are getting quality food and service. If you ever need a mask (although thankfully that need seems to be dying off), you can go to customer service and ask one of the employees for one, free of charge. Publix has always been one of my favorite, if not the favorite grocery store I have been to in my lifetime. And don't forget, when Palm Beach County decided to opt out of handling the COVID vaccines (including appointments, having a useable website, etc.), Publix was the corporation that chose to help out and give nearly 60,000 vaccines a week to those who needed them most. read more

I've been this Publixs. Half a dozen times without even thinking of giving it a review. Not because it doesn't deserve one but because I'm usually haulling butt to get to the camp at JDSP. This is a clean well stocked and super helpful ( read polite) store. With the exception of firewood being out of season (ACK!!) They have consistently met my needs. Ice, beer, lighter fluid ...... One nice thing about Publix... they are all over the place in Florida, and they are always consistent with a good selection of goods, fresh veggies, cold drinks, meats, etc... and usually clean restrooms. This one has all that, with plenty of parking too. Conveniently located to the dive boat I was going to be on... and the perfect place for a last minute snack, and restroom break before hitting the water. Store is clean, employees are friendly, and the Deli has some good munchies! What more can I say? read more

I love this Publix! My parents live across the street, so I shop there frequently. The store is stocked with everything. The meat and poultry are excellent. The produce department is always fresh. I cannot say enough positive things about the pharmacy staff. They have been so kind and patient with my elderly parents. My overall experience has been a positive one! read more

JUDY!!!! I could scream her name on a rooftop and proclaim my love for this women. I've lived in Tequesta for the past 14 years and Judy has been the upmost sweetest women I have ever met. Yes go to Publix for your shopping needs but go and see Judy. I know I do. Sometimes after a bad day i just go in to buy a snack and just can't wait to see her radiant smile and amazing energy. Judith is horrible. I ran in just to get some aluminum foil and got into a line. All I had, was this aluminum foil. I put it on the conveyor belt and I saw Judith scan it. Come to find out, she had put the aluminum foil under the lady who was in front of me. Lady had to go and find something else in the store, Judith made NO attempt to find the lady whom she had just made her purchase something that she didn't want. Lady stepped to the side and Judith stared me up and down and didn't communicate anything with me. I told her that the aluminum foil was mine and she explained that the lady in front of me purchased it... I'm not sure how that's my problem that she cannot do her job correctly as a cashier, but I stood there awkwardly when another lady came up behind me and Judith immediately started scanning this lady's items, completely ignoring me. Bear in mind, I had already asked her if I should go grab another one, but didn't respond to me. The lady BEHIND ME checked out and went about her day and I finally walked away. I got my item and went back to line to purchase when her line had filled up. She didn't address me, didn't apologize, nothing. I was then checked out by Jack whom was lovely. Judith overall lacked in her approach and communication to a situation where she created an issue, and attempted to blame me for simply just wanting to check out. Ignored me entirely, I'm assuming because I am young, she felt that she could treat me poorly, even though I am a paying customer. read more

The customer service at this publix is off the chain! Stock people in the aisle offered to help before I even grabbed my item. I'm Injured right now ( not so you can see) so it was especially amazing for me to run into an employee that went out of his way to help me get my heavy item in my cart. I checked out with a very personable and funny lady that Made our experience that much more bearable. We had experienced WAY loud noises and fights, yelling. The front desk advised me to ignore it. First time buying something from Publix and the Sushi guy could not be any more rude. Mom and I asked him if we can have avocado he said that the sushi has it but as I look inside the sushi there was never any , no greens. Tried to tell him that it didnt and asked if we can get one with avocado and cucumber. Instead he laughed at us continually wasting time. This wasn't the first time I've experienced this, but on numerous occasions Marty has been rude to me and my wife. It's bad when you're at a grocery store and you try to avoid a certain clerk. This is my place to shop on a regular basis. They never bag your groceries properly. They mix the beef and the poultry together in which it should be separate to avoid contamination. My bread and chips are usually smooshed due to the fact they do not know how to bag groceries. I prefer to do it myself most of the time. I always carry them to my car. The only reason why I go there as for the pharmacy. This is No longer my place to shop. read more

As a resident of Jupiter, I have been in several of the areas Publix Supermarkets. Typically they seem well managed; while they often have only a few registers open, when a line forms they are quick to open a register ( or 2) as needed. Early evening ( about 6:20 pm) this past Friday I was ready to check out. There was ONE ( of a possible 10) cashiers ( plus an express line) open, with 4 of us waiting on line. This Publix, however is poorly managed; even the employees, who told me this happens often, felt bad for us. Hire another manager; one who will respect the customers. In the mean time, I will make sure I always go to other area Publix Supermarkets, ALL managed better than this one. read more

This Publix is great. It's clean, well organized and very friendly. I have used Chasewood, Alt A1A and US1 Publix and this is by far my favorite. Best part is they are always well staffed at checkout. read more

PUBLIX is a FRAUD. I have been going to the Tequesta Publix for 18 years. With 2 teenagers I could not avoid going there 3x per week minimal. A week ago, I went for Chicken Stock and had the misfortune of slipping on something on the floor and landing hard on my hands and knees. It took everything I had to get myself up and go to the back of the store to call for help. The Manager tended to me. I pointed to a shopper that witnessed the accident and he ignored my remark. He asked if I can be walked out and I was in so much pain that all I could think of was to get out of there. He did not even ask me to fill out an accident report. I was stiff the next day and I went to physical therapy. I called the Corp office to see if they will pay the co-pay of my medical and they told me that the manager reported that the area was dry and clean therefore they are not negligent and will not pay for any medical. Oh and conveniently she told me that they do not have cameras on that particular isle. Hmmmm.... I told her that the manager did not follow protocol and she said "what do you know about our protocol"??? I see that their main PROTOCOL and the main objective of the manger was to get me out of there as quickly as possible. Ignored the fact that there was a witness and did not ask me to fill out an accident report. THIS IS their PROTOCOL "time to cover the evidence" and of course make a statement that there is no liability. Heather at the Risk department in Corporate was rude and nasty. Buyer beware, Publix not only gauges you on prices but don't turn your back on them either. If you ever have an accident in their store, make sure that you stick around the accident area and make sure that witnesses don't leave without you taking their information. read more
