Deli Sub department was an unexpected disappointment for an online order. Went in and it wasn't there, the employee had me tell her the order as she made it in front of me. I told her online it said to heat on the press, she informs me they don't have a press. I would've just ordered from a different Publix and plan to next time. read more

Bad sub order online here, was not ready when they said, I came 10 minutes late too, they had not even made it yet, they had an entire hour to make it, it was not ready when I came in to pick it up. I had to wait another 20 minutes almost. Then bad attitude from their employees was unpleasant, who wants attitude or sarcasm from them? Then they did not make it right, they did not read or follow the instructions and left things off like tomatoes and put jalapeños and banana peppers on that I said to put on the side, they were so spiteful that they put mostly overloaded with jalapeños and hot peppers out of spite I am sure, they were supposed to be on the side. It was an awful experience here, doubt I would trust to order here again at this Publix, can't trust them. Several real bad apples at this Publix. Dalton the manager tried to make it right. It is hard to get good help he said. They were out of BOGO sales here, so could not buy what I wanted. Publix used to live up to their motto of where shopping is a pleasure 25+ years ago, Publix no longer exceeds expectations, they have declined so much over the years, so few people who work here really care at all. Sad to see. I see a lot of bad reviews here on Yelp and now I know why. I hope this review helps them to become better. I care, I wish they did. read more

My wife and I and our two adult daughters have been buying and enjoying your deli departments boxes of hot chicken wings for YEARS, always looking forward to them and NEVER disappointed. Two weeks ago, just the wife and I went in, grabbed a box from under the warming lamps, paid, and went home. Shortly thereafter, we got out the Ranch dressing and sat down to eat. We noticed immediately that the chicken was darker than usual, and then it became quite apparent that it was also smaller, drier, and tougher. Not being whiners or complainers, we figured "the next piece would be better", but no. We stopped eating, because it was obvious that this wasn't the usual delicious moist chicken we were used to... it was hard and dried up. We were stunned (and still hungry). We boxed the remainder back up and put it in the fridge, and when doing so, found that the tag on the chicken had been reduced from $17 to $10 (evidently because it was old), but we had been charged full price! My wife took it back the next day, and the gal at the service counter looked at her like she was some sort of mental deficient because of the complaint, yet nevertheless, apologized and refunded our money. So, all is well, right? No. Last evening we went back to get another box, being SURE that the problem with the last chicken was a rare anomaly. We checked the boxes, purchased the one that appeared to have been cooked last (we've NEVER done that before), checked out and went home. This chicken was better than the last, but not by much. It was fresher, but still overcooked. We didn't eat it all, but DID NOT and WILL NOT bring it back. Please tell your "fry cook" that you don't need to fry chicken onto OBLIVION simply to make it safe to eat. I don't think we'll be visiting your store again anytime soon. read more

I ordered 2 Subs and was quite disappointed, there was no oil and vinegar packets in the bags, and very little mayo and mustard, I've ordered subs from Publix before and was quite satisfied but today not so much, I will not be ordering subs from this store again, I will go to the other Publix or Winn Dixie. I did not enjoy it at all. I hope that the service will get better and I will change my mind, I love shopping there just won't be ordering any more subs. read more

This Publix does not do business like other Publix stores. Our Athens GA store is much better to their customers than the store. When our Publix has a " buy one get one free deal" and you only buy one, it is sold to us for half price. Not at this Publix! You have to buy two to get the deal, and if you only want one, too bad! This store makes so much more $$$ off the customer that shops. The moral of the story, don't shop here! read more

This would be a happy review if it wasn't for the older gentleman today in a green shirt and his tag read customer service staff. I was at the register and asked the cashier with help about a digital coupon and she was trying to help me. This gentleman was rude to her like she had no idea what her job was. He had her suspend the order and had me step aside so I could get the coupon clipped. (Which is what I was having an issue with and she was helping me). I eventually get the coupon clipped and he comes to finish the transaction at another register. I show him the coupon and it isn't working on their end. He then tells me I don't have the right products so I show them to him and it still doesn't work. He tells me that I have the wrong dip and that is why it isn't working. I ended up blowing up the picture of the items that were in the coupon and he eventually took it off but it was an unnecessary and unexpected way to be treated when at the other 2 Publix locations I have had people with the same thing without all of the rudeness. read more

This is a really nice store, clean and very well organized. The service desk employees do you not seem to be happy, they never smile and are not friendly. Sebastian has that hometown friendly feel, which lacks at the service desk. cashiers are very nice and everybody else in the store especially the nice ladies that cook food to give out samples near the bakery. read more

What a s*** hole. Rude employees. Can't help nor do they try to or want to. No greeting even at the register. Didn't even give me proper change. Handed me two quarters and forgot how to count the rest of 93 I guess. read more

Normally the Publix subs are very good. today I bought my first steak and cheese and it is below average and was made rather poorly. I think whoever is doing the training and that deli department may need to retrain a few of the employees. Peter Alexander read more

When my husband told the store manager that he felt he was treated rudely , the store manager responded with " Don't shop in my store...go to Wal Mart to do your shopping". This was said loudly in front of other customers and on camera. I am absolutely shocked that corporate would allow such a person to be in a management position . My high opinion of Publix is shattered. I'll definately pass this exchange on to everyone I know. read more

Oh boy, if you grew up in Florida, then Publix subs are your first choice for a picnic lunch. We were heading out on the boat with a group of friends; and, decided to treat everyone to a sub. We ordered the Italian whole sub, on white bread, with everything but peppers, including oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. They were perfectly prepared, well-sliced and wrapped for sharing; and, even though they took a while to make, they were great! We bought too many; and, had leftovers for lunch the next day - they were still great! read more
