I really don't know where to begin. I have ordered food from Instacart for a while now I decided to go to the Publix and Dunedin on Main Street right right to the bakery and they were so helpful. She came around the corner and pointed out exactly what I was looking for. I didn't wanna wait in line for the deli so she told me about the BOAR'S head, hams, turkeys chicken deli meat, salami, delicious stroll along the fresh market area, grab some fresh red onion, and tomatoes and when I got to the meat, that's where I saved I've never been disappointed. They had a sale on ribeye steak boneless or bone in. I bought the boneless for 13.76 a pound. and let me tell you I'm from Chicago. This is the best steak I've ever cooked myself. It was fatty delicious tender moist just perfect marbling I bought some sweet potatoes some mixed vegetables. Everybody in the store was so helpful. I checked out and I saw a manager, and I wanted to let him know how grateful I was for coming back to shopping for myself instead of Instacart. Thank you again. This is one of the best Publix around. It's clean. The service is friendly getting a pub sub is fast. They stock some beach gear. That's more unique to get over to Honeymoon. I love that the bakery has some things that Granada Publix doesn't sometimes you can still find sunflower seed bread overall this is the go to Publix For us. read more

I normally shop here and don't have a problem, but yesterday the cashier in the express lane yelled and snapped at me and said I couldn't come through her line because I had 12 items , even though her line was empty . I then told a manager who was ringing items in the next line and he ignored me. As I was walking by , the cashier then mumbled something about me and gave me a dirty look. I proceeded to customer service and then complained to another manager and he apologized and said he would talk to her . I can only hope he does . Lesson here is , make sure you have EXACTLY 10 items or less in this Publix. Ridiculous ! read more

I usually really like shopping here. Everyone has been friendly and efficient. Today not so much. Connor P at the checkout was in a big rush and charged me for items I wanted a price check for first, when I said I didn't want some of them he failed to refund me properly and tried to argue that he was right. He's a young kid and they obviously don't teach math in school these days. I had to go to customer service. He was snappy and not customer service oriented. Also we asked for paper bags and they shoved all the glass items into one bag which broke when we were unloading from the car. In general Publix tends to want to shove too many items into their paper bags but when you do plastic they literally put 1-2 items per plastic bag which is so wasteful ! read more

Patricia was friendly and efficient. She had two bottles of the Milagro Tequila Silver so I could use the $8 coupon. Johnny from my local store had only one. He called, and she put 2 aside for me. It wasn't too far to drive to save $8 more. The price is similar to what we get on the cruises, but we haven't cruised since Feb. Don't know when we'll cruise again. But we have a nephew's birthday and Christmas coming up, and this is the only brand he drinks! The store was well stocked, clean, and bright. No one else was in the store, so CoVid practices were easy to adhere to. I was in and out quickly, and though Pat was masked, I could hear the smile in her voice. Horrible sandwich. Purchased a 10.55 whole tenders sub. They cut up 3 tenders and tried to spread it to cover the bread. Unsuccessful and a waste of money. Go elsewhere for a sub. This was very disappointing. I Waited over 8 mins in line to be served, which is the norm, but with this sandwich as a result?? No good. read more

This is my go-to store, especially since they continue to add more all-natural and organic food and drink to their shelves. The store contains virtually everything I need because of those additions. Their prices are competitive with pretty much everyone else. All of the management and staff that I have encountered over the past nearly six years since I moved here have been very courteous and know their store...very willing to assist with anything needed. The store is quite clean and well-organized and has done an admirable job during the covid time period, especially being able to keep pretty much everything in stock, which I know can be difficult.. read more

I'm out of state and from where I am, our stores do NOT do anything close to what this store did for us. Usually we walk in, do what we gotta do, find what we gotta find, and head to our car. No biggie. We walked in here wondering if we got transported to Pleasantville. Everyone was so nice and looked so happy to be there. {BTW, I hope the employees get treated right because they did make our multiple trips to the store that much more enjoyable.} Anyhoot, our first trip there was REALLY late, like before closing time and we were like, "oh well, let's just shop real quick and get out of there...." I was expecting to see some eyes roll. But the manager that night said hi, joyfully. The employees that night said hi, joyfully. And I was thinking we needed to get out of there because people were ready to beat our a**es. I looked at my husband like "something's wrong. They're too nice..." So as we were cashing out, the cashier looked really happy. Like.....she was REALLY happy. And I was thinking to myself. Why is she so happy? The manager offered to carry out groceries to the car. We were like "Uhhhh, that's not necessary.." But that guy was REALLY persistent. I thought he was gonna jump us or something bc our cashier lady left her post to help him. Good thing my husband is a big strong guy. So we were like "uhhhh sure.." He rolled our cart out and his associate helped him put our groceries in our car. This was the strangest and most pleasant trip to a grocery store. You Floridians are some lucky MOFOs. Not that our stores up here are ghetto, but dang! Maybe Floridians are just that nice huh? I know people really aren't that happy. But the cheerful people there really did make our stay in Florida that much better because we had a go to place to shop for all of our needs when we stayed at our resort. So thanks guys! I honestly do not like putting up bad reviews. I would like to think that over all my experiences will be good no matter where I go, but that's just not life. I live right down the street from this store, so it is one of the places I frequent about 4 times a week. That's very quickly changed. Today I went in and Had a terrible experience. All stores will have issues with one thing or another, But what I witnessed totally turned me off completely because it is something preventable. I was waiting in the deli And as I waited for my turn, I watched one of the employees blow their nose in the open, open this tissue and inspect the mucus, Toss the tissue in the trash can and proceed to go cut my meat. I was so angry that I didn't even have it in me to say anything because I knew whatever I said would be very volatile. I told the manager who quickly apologized and got me another order of meat and refunded my purchase. Regardless, the training here must be lacking because as a nurse, and human being, i know the importance of hand washing & cross contamination. I'm seriously just disgusted and appalled. Ugh. This is my home store! It has been down for a 10 month remodeling but the Grand Reopening is Oct 18, 2012! A mile from my house, I will be biking regularly to pick up my freggies and healthy fuel! This Publix made me feel right at home. It was similar to the Publix on US 19 and Curlew. The staff were more than willing to help with my groceries. I was in and out quickly and efficiently thanks to the layout of the building. read more

Deli area is a wreck and took us 35 minutes to get a sub. People called in their subs ahead of time and ended up waiting 20-30 minutes as well. Whole store is small and over crowded. Shop elsewhere!! read more

Just came from shopping here . The remodel looks great , nice decor colors . The feel of the store was nice . Its large but I see the need for the extra space with the snow birds here . The store has a nice high celing but low celing by the deli to keep the customers waiting for there orders cool .. The customers and staff were friendly as allways. This Publix is by far my favorite publix!!! Not only is the staff nice and helpful, but they also do a exceptional job in the deli. There subs are wonderfully made and all there deli items are delicious and wonderful, especially their buffalo chicken dip, There meat and seafood section is also fantastic; I love that I never have to question the freshness of their seafood, meat, and poultry, unlike some grocery stores I've been too. Publix is more expensive than some other grocery stores like Winn Dixie and the now defunct Sweet Bays, but It's certainly not as expensive as Whole Foods and Fresh Market. Of course I have to say Whole Foods has a superior produce section and Fresh Market has a better Meat section and that's why their prices are higher than Publix. Having said that I would still go to Publix because it is closer to my house and I really enjoy their deli section. Also their cakes are fantastic. I'm proud to say I love their Teddy Bear cakes because they can make them for any special occasion. So if your heading to Honeymoon Island or just live in the area, stop at this Publix. read more

We recently moved within walking distance of the store. On my first visit, I found the employees to be no so friendly. They didn't make eye contact, say hello, can I help you, nothing! I brushed it off as just a bad day. Today I went back and that will be my last time.... The deli lady and the cashier were the only employees that spoke to me or make eye contact for that matter. The people that look like managers don't smile or speak. The bag boy was hanging on the coke cooler door when I went to the register. He piled can goods on foil pans that I bought and when I asked him to move them he said "well I didn't bend them"! No one offered to take my groceries to my car either. I'll drive the extra miles to shop at the Publix on Alderman and Alt. 19 in Palm Harbor. Those people ALWAYS go out of their way to be friendly. read more
