This Liquor Store (New to East Orlando in Late 2021) has a modern look and feel to it, I guess that goes along with being new. I've been to other Publix Liquors and they look like a liquor aisle in a grocery store with those awful square white "tiles" straight out of an 80's Kmart. This place is tiny. It's 2 aisles and probably one of the smallest liquor stores I've been in. Obviously, that means the selection is more limited than your ABC and Total Wines type of stores. Even most independent strip mall liquor stores are bigger than this place. With that being said, they did have some surprisingly nice selections available, and a small display of "higher end" stuff too. Speaking of tiny, behind the register, there's a pretty nice selection of smaller bottles (50ml up to 375ml) in case you don't want to splurge on a whole bottle. I'd say check the full bottle price first as sometimes it's not much more to go for the full 750. Prices seemed higher than what I've seen, but prices are going up up up these days. I honestly don't know the next closest place to buy the hard stuff (maybe ABC in Avalon Park?), so this is a nice addition to Far East Orlando. This Publix Liquors is located in the same shopping plaza as Publix, but it is neither in the Public's nor even close to it. Instead, it is located over by the Subway and the Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. In fact, it is between the two businesses. The service is friendly and the prices are competitive. It is not a huge store, however they have a decent selection for its size. I was here at approximately 4 on a Friday afternoon and they had a steady flow of customers coming in and out oh, so I am sure the community in this area has embraced them. I will say that it seems to be a lot more convenient to come here instead of having to go either closer to Orlando or into Titusville to get hard liquor. So if you live in either Bithlo, Christmas, Chuluota and the surrounding area, this is a convenient place to head towards. read more

Made a quick stop at this Publix store on New Year's Eve about 8:15. This Publix location is always super busy. Generally the wait to check out is not too long. We usually stop at this Publix on our way home from Orlando to Palm Beach County to pick up some snacks, drinks, or non-perishables to bring home for the next morning (this time it was bananas and a loaf of bread). The store and rest rooms are clean. Employees are pleasant and helpful. Nice place to shop. read more

We stopped here for a sandwich at their deli, because the smell at the Burger King across the road was too bad. Really great and quick service (that's what the 5 stars are for and Ray went out of his way to help us) and def a better alternative to Subway. We got a tuna sub and it was made right before our eyes, with fresh ingredients and tasted great. Not bad for a whole sub for under $6. Also the wedges too were freshly made for us - that took a little bit more time than expected but the fresh hot taste was delicious. Very glad we went here. read more

Great experience here! Everyone in the staff was friendly, greeting us as we walked by, and they were helpful too, making sure we were finding everything okay and helping us whenever we asked for something. We were refilling a new home pantry and had over $300 of groceries, yet the check out process was efficient, the groceries were bagged well, and the front service clerk helped us out with our groceries and put them in the car for us. Probably the worst bag boy I've ever seen. He asked "paper or plastic" & I said paper, double bagged. He proceeded to put everything in two bags. I said no, i want it double bagged. He did the head tilt like a puppy & had no idea what I was taking about. I had to explaine what double bagging meant... to a bag boy! So then he took everything out of both bags, put them together & put everything back in. I bought two of their fruit salad bowls. He slid them in on their sides. Stopped by on the way home for some salad fixings, a variety of seeds for the pantry and a loaf of bread. Their bakery is beautiful and the young lady working was very polite. She sliced me a loaf of the Tuscany and never without a smile. off to the produce section and their salad fixings looked fantastic. I grabbed some lettuce, peppers, rappini, green onions, and several colored bell peppers. The rest of what I need is already at home. I snapped up some Pine, pumpkin and sunflower seeds so I can make a few recipes. off to the register. The checkout was quick and efficient. The cashier was very personable and the bagger was equally polite. A quick swipe of the card and out the door I went. PUBLIX... Where shopping REALLY is a pleasure! Even though the new store off Woodbury and Colonial is closer, I have always enjoyed stopping at this store on the way back fro the kids house. This is my regular Publix. The best customer service can be found at this location. Publix is a more expensive grocery store than the others in the immediate area. However, the Deli, Meat, Seafood, Produce, and Bakery are heads and tails above those other guys. Take advantage of their weekly buy one get one deals and you will save some $'s. read more

This is an unusual review but I had to give a shout out to Jalil! 10/25/19 around 4pm I was leaving Publix and opened my car door to find a frog! A frog was on the rubber seal of my car and I'm scared of frogs so I freak out. Jalil is grabbing carts and sees me. I asked him for help and he came right over and removed the frog safely from my car! He went above and beyond his job to help me out! Thank you Jalil! read more

Remembered when it opened and it was the only place I'd go for fresh bread and groceries. Lately its service has degraded substantially. Examples.. I'm the only one at the deli counter and find myself waiting in line. At the customer service counter, 3 associates one counting change the other two engaged in a personal conversation. I don't want to get into the weeds but other issues persist. It appears that they are on their game when management is around, otherwise expect poor service. This is the only publix that I have an issue with online ordering. I normally don't review supermarkets but today was the 3rd time they screw up my order. The concept is simple. You place an order online and it lists a printout of ingredients for the deli clerk. I never have issues with the other publix stores near my job, but this one which is near home just cannot seem to get my sub orders right unless I build it right there at the counter. Just wasted ten minutes of my life waiting for some non existent catfish to get fried up. I walked around the store while I waited for this fish to get cooked. I have been coming here for years and the employees are always super helpful. The subs always tastes great and the publix employees always accommodate my specific requests ( like more banana peppers on just half the sub). The guys in the meat department are always accommodating and are willing to make special cuts of meat on request. read more

This Publix didn't offer the customer service that the Avalon Park Publix offers. I had a cart full of groceries and unloaded my entire cart while holding my 8-month-old son. Now, that was normal to me before moving to Florida, but at the other Publix the bag boy or even a manager has completely unloaded my cart whether I have my children or not. Other than that, it's a Publix which makes me a fan, but for large grocery trips I'll drive a few miles farther to the Publix in Avalon. read more

I felt compelled to write a review for this particular Publix, I have recently moved into this area and this is now my closest location. It does not have the friendliest people working at this location, I do not take my business to Publix for the prices but more for the customer service, this location fell short. Every employee I came across on my entire visit were unpleasant, they seem bothered. The lady at the deli, seemed frustrated at the fact that I was the next customer, didn't serve me but called another employee to cut my ham for me. I always say thank you and have a good day, receive no response in return from three of the four employees I interacted with today. At one point I needed to get pears and there was an employee with a cart putting out the fruit blocking the pears along with a manager and they were discussing the display. I kind of stood to the side hoping that they would move the cart, instead the manager looked at me and said " is something wrong", I stated that I just need to get some pears and just proceeded to reach over and they didn't bother to move the cart. At checkout the only person who acknowledge that I said thank you and have a good day seem to be the very nice bag lady, because not even the cashier could be bothered to say have a nice day back to me. Two deli workers, seafood worker, and a cashier desperately need to go through customer service orientation again. Three stars for the bagger lady! read more
