What I like about this store is the staff is always willing to help find something or even offer their opinion if they are familiar with each item. On the last Thursday of the month (at least before March 2020), they would have a wine tasting where you pay a small fee for a cup and you can sample a bunch of wines. It's easy to shop for sale items and clearance items by the different color tags. I grew up shopping for sale items and am always looking for a good deal. They also have their higher end items in separate display cases so if you're looking for an expensive gift or indulgence, you can easily find that too. They have chilled items too so if you need something for the ride home, they got you covered. Some popular items sell out, but that's not ABC's fault. If something is popular, it's hard to find anywhere. If you need a stogie, they got you covered with their walk in humidor. There is also a section in the back where you can grab 2 bottles for $20 which I think is a steal. The prices here I think are decent. I was super excited at their Mezcal choices and ended up buying some of that too after the woman working gave me a sample of one of them. It was pretty smooth tasting Mezcal that was easy to drink on its own. They also have all the staples and prices are competitive or better than what I've seen at some of the other hole-in-the-wall places which jack up the prices for some reason. I kinda miss Pennsylvania where the prices are regulated. I'll be sure to stop in here more often as the entrance is in the same parking lot as Publix which is my hometown store. On my visit, it was to buy a bottle of Pappy 12 for list price. I honestly don't even know what List Price even is. It seemed like a good promo. I browsed around and saw a few things I thought about purchasing, then after checking some other places, I determined their prices were much much higher here. Things selling for $70 here were $20-$30 cheaper at other places. The difference is they have it in stock (and probably because the price is higher). You may find good prices on Jack or John or Captain or other staples, but for the rarities, not so much. As much as I'd like to support small business, when they jack up the price on some items, I just take my business elsewhere. Total Wines and ABC still can beat them on some items if you're lucky enough to find them in stock.
