Horrible experience at the Deli! I pre-ordered my sandwiches with order placed at 5.45pm and pick up time at 6.15pm. I got there a little early and it was busy -normal for Sat night- but nothing is coming out for pick ups. All lines were cleared (the ham/cheeses, the sandwiches, and the "buffet" style food area). I even stood in line because nothing was coming out and we could see there was literally NOBODY making sandwiches in the back and like 10 tickets just there waiting. We were the very last ones in line to make it worse... so everybody else got their food even a Publix employee. When we get to the lady she pulls the ignored tickets from the back and told us she would make them for us (so nobody had been working on them and it's already been 40min). I went to speak to the assistant manager (Andrea) and told her that the excuse I was given is that "the person was too busy" yet not even there making anything... again, it's fully visible; So I told Andrea that the Deli needed assistance. At this point the lady is making our Sandwiches and Andrea offered to comp them but we didn't want free food and we politely decline although we felt like our time was wasted. Buuuut to top it all off, my husband got his sandwich wnd the lady made my sandwich wrong even with the ticket in front of her with the details. We told Andrea we didn't want anything anymore ... this was a waste of time and a serious joke. This place needs supervision because even the assistant manager did not have a clue of what was going on and made the comment that "sometimes they need babysitting" which makes me believe the employee just left the area and nobody did anything about it. An hour later we walked out empty-handed. What a disappointment... do not pre-order at the deli, you'd be wasting your time. read more

I always shop at Publix, but I might be switching. We were in meat department & when trying to get a Hormel turkey breast tenderloin we saw expiry date of Dec 17, which is 11 days too late. When we told meat department, they checked, but nothing fresher available. She took away old, but when we walked away & my husband turned to go back for something else that same staff member added the old meat back to shelf. We were disgusted so we definitely won't buy meat at this Publix again. Why would a reputable store take a chance on getting their customers sick? Prices at Publix have gone up considerably so to do this is just lousy. read more

After almost 20 years of supporting Publix I realized they have an APP. So I downloaded it. Publix has great costumer service with very high PRICES. The APP is unreliable and very vague. No price is displayed probably due to increased PRICES. Completely unreliable on this day and age. Lost a very loyal guest. read more

We just moved to the area, and have been coming to this publix for our groceries. The publix itself is pretty decently sized, and the workers have all been pretty pleasant! The parking lot is very busy, but it is in a plaza with other shops that I'm sure contributes to the busyness. One thing we have noticed is they don't stock a lot of what we were used to buying. Thankfully publix is able to order items so it's not a huge deal, but it is a slight inconvenience. We also noticed their meat department makes items slightly different. Again not a deal breaker but definitely caught us off guard from what we are used to. Overall I would definitely recommend this location! read more

Not all Publics are the same. Some better than others in service, quality and presentation. This is definitely one of the better ones. The staff seem super friendly and ready to assist. It's clean, open and the food items hare are displayed nicely. Publics is not known for cheep pricing, and this one is no different., but you may find specialty items here that you wont in the bargain grocery stores. You have to watch when they have the BOGOs; check the expiration dates. This is true no matter where you go though. Todays visit was strictly for their rotisserie chicken. When it comes to Public's chicken, its da BOMB!; rotisserie, wings, sandwiches, it doesn't matter. I'm not yet convinced that there isn't an addictive substance added, because I do have frequent cravings for their chicken. read more

Why is it this place can never have popcorn chicken? Doesn't matter the time of day, they're out of it. You're sitting on a chicken gold mine and yet you don't cash in? I'm dumbfounded as to who in their right mind wouldn't meet the demand you have. read more

When you order a sandwich online. They tell you an estimated time of 11:30, and it's almost noon before they say it's ready, but when checked it wasn't ready. No lunch today because of Publix. Very disappointed. Also made me late to work. read more

I love shopping at Publix for certain items! Like, brownie cheesecake from the bakery is my go to when I want to indulge! I have to say that I am slightly disappointed that they don't sell the individual glass bottles of soda like other locations. My family is Jewish and we enjoy beef bacon from Gwaltney... it's real difficult for us to get them to special order it. Not sure why. But, I do have to brag about 'Sushi Girl' she is amazing! My husband enjoys sushi that's cooked (with imitation crab). When we special order sushi... she gets the order complete with time, accuracy, and quality! We tried to make our own sushi at home and were having difficulty getting it to stay wrapped... went in to talk to her and she gave us pointers. read more

Their slogan "Where shopping is a pleasure" definitely doesn't disappoint in our household. I've been shopping at this location for 5 years and it's hands down my favorite Publix. The majority of the staff has stayed the same since I've been shopping here. Most of their nighttime cashiers are high school students or college students and they are always very friendly and conversational. We go here so much, that when we walk in we feel important because they'll ask about us, how we've been and why we didn't come in on Sunday (our usual grocery day). My husband and I think that extra special touch of customer service definitely goes a long way. I have been to every department at this Publix and spoken to at least 1-2 different people in each department and none have turned me away. The produce department always keeps the produce well stocked, clean and full. I did happen to find moldy strawberries one late afternoon and brought it to their attention and they were very appreciative and apologetic. I told them no worries. Produce department also blows up the helium balloons should you want one. Bakery staff is amazing! They have made 5 years worth of birthday cakes for my son... Publix cake is the BEST! Deli staff is beyond patient with me and my son. My son is a very picky eater and the ladies and gentlemen behind the counter have gone out of their way to make him very relaxed and comfortable ordering subs or hot meals. The meat managers are interesting to watch. They've pointed me in the right direction when selecting different meats to use for dinner - which is very helpful because I am NOT a chef. The pharmacy staff is hit or miss... my dog is on a narcotic and they've been filling the prescription for 5+ years and only 1 pharmacist puts me through the ringer when I try to refill.. it's annoying but I get it. The others are very nice and helpful and always make me feel welcomed. Our favorites are the cashiers, as I was a WD cashier all through high school... there is a male cashier who used to be a bagger that greets us every-time were there, we always make a point to say hello to him and he is always smiling. I don't remember his name, but he is tall and Hispanic. The lady who works on Sunday mornings at the front desk, always stops and talks to us and if she doesn't when we walk in. She will as we walk by shopping or at the end. Then our favorite cashier is Margaret! Go visit her & as your walking out make sure you say "Bye Margaret" we do EVERY time we leave - even if she's not working that day. Shop at this Publix - you won't regret it! Publix is a great clean store. Customer service is great at this location. The deli is awesome. Best meats and cheeses for sandwiches. They make great subs to go too. The best part of Publix is their fresh to go chicken. Their rotisserie chicken and fried chicken is to die for! The only downfall with Publix is they are pretty pricey. Sure they have "buy one get one free" sales all the time, but the price of one is often high. Other than that, enjoy the deli! You won't be disappointed. read more

What a place! When shopping is unpleasure! I visit this place today and hopefully never again. There is Deli with no Deli. 7:15 am no bread no any person ready to serve subs. I was almost ready to ask manager to verify person which was working on deli to see if she is awake. Looks like she was sleeping and not working. How is possible to open store 7am and not be ready to serve at 7:15 am. I was asking Manager for help but obviously he is just pass something like "sorry". This place is very unpleasure to visit, store is dirty as well as non-friendly personals. Thank you but NO thank you never ever return to this store. And need to say that my daughter has sweet 16 today and I like to start her day with nice sub, flowers and other presents. Thank you to ruined it. BRAVO PABLIX!!!!! I just finished calling and asking if there were any openings available for a job, and the lady who answered off the bat was already in a bad mood. As soon as i asked if there were hiring, she automatically said "NOT RIGHT NOW" rudely and hung up! I love Publix but the canoe creek service! TERRIBLE! read more

Thos store is right around the corner from my house and I think we seriously lucked out. Sure, the prices at Publix are a little high and some items are in a baffling location (ice cream cones with bread and greeting cards?????), but the cleanliness of the store, the courteous and pleasant employees, and the quality of the bakery/deli/produce more than makes up for it. read more
