You can try and improve everything. The staff especially where they make the subs, HORRIBLE, lazy and don't care about anything Get managers that actually care about the store, train the employees to care about their work and the customers. This Publix is NOT a pleasure to shop at. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because there are SOME (2 employees) that Have been pleasant and I regret not getting their names. I recently moved back to Miami and to no surprise customer service at this Publix is poor. The employees are not helpful when I've asked for help. I love the newly re-opened Publix at 128th and Biscayne, such an improvement from the former location! There's a large selection of items, whatever you may need! I also love that there are a ton of employees, and a lot of cash registers open at any time we have been. This is really nice compared to other Publix locations in the area where they may run out of things and typically don't have enough cash registers open. I also love they have a really nice deli counter (pretty expansive and always plenty of employees), produce is always fresh, and the store is always spotless. This location really lives up to the Publix branding "where shopping is a pleasure." The only thing I could stay is that prices typically are pretty high for Publix locations in Miami versus other grocery stores, and that's really what would make this a 5 star rating. read more

Charlie at the deli counter was awesome. He was great at communicating to us there was a wait, he also makes a great sandwich. I will say, he did point out that the meat was under weight for the Publix Italian sandwich, which should be managed as corrected going forward. Today, during the pandemic, this location did NOT have any sanitizing wipes for customers. Someone was wiping the cart handles with a filthy rag that was falling apart. Disgusting. When I left I put my carry basket on top of the pile. A customer came in and took it to shop. No one wiped it down. When I asked the manager if they wiped down the baskets, he said every 15 minutes. Our neighborhood has been patiently waiting for the grand opening of this location. The entire shopping plaza was torn down and rebuilt, with Publix being the last to open its doors. The layout and store itself reminds me of Publix's located in the most northern parts of the state. It's refreshing to see so many new amenities available now in South Florida. The seafood/meat section is pristine and offers cuts I've never seen them sell before. Kobe beef. Beautiful cuts. Prices are a little on the steep side but that's what I've come to know from publix. Wine section has a chill machine where you can choose to chill for 4-8 or 12 minutes. If you're in the hood plan to stop by and see this new location. Every cashier was open and yet it didn't feel like it's packed with people. read more

I always have a wonderful experience at this public. The deli counter folks are always pleasant. They great you and acknowledge you in case you are waiting a bit. People love their deli meats. Whenever I need assistance someone is always willing to go out of their way to help. The young lady that assisted me with my prescriptions was so kind. If I could give zero stars I would. I've been shopping here since 1987 and have watched it go down hill the last several years. Produce in particular at this Publix (12800 Biscayne Blvd) SUCKS. The worst I've ever seen on a store shelf. I'm the one cooking so usually I'm the one shopping for the produce but since this COVID-19 my wife has been doing all the shopping. You can't imagine the amount of produce she has brought home on Saturday only to be tossed in the disposal Sunday over the past 6 months. Meals ruined. Produce, produce check your produce! Often rotten/wilted produce is on display to be sold to customers....a shame. Some employees are nice, some are inappropriately flirtatious, while most cashiers have bad attitudes. I just left from this location and I thanked the cashier and he have me a robotic stare and said nothing. Every single worker I passed by said hello and good morning. They are extremely friendly and helpful! All the food was stocked and the produce was fresh and looked after. I ordered a sub this evening at 9:19 pm, with a first available pick up time of 9:50 pm. I ordered a whole chicken tender sub and stressed I wanted EXTRA HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE in the notes. The sandwich was not cut in half and there was NO HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE to be found throughout the entire sub. In my opinion, that is the most important component to give the sub its flavor, so I'm confused as to why the deli department did not pay attention to the notes. It was not busy, being this order was placed fairly late at night, so it's pretty unacceptable. My friend that lives in the area also has constant issues with this Publix's deli. Most of the time his sub isn't even ready at pick up time, or they screw up his order. Do not offer a service if it cannot be executed properly. I'm very dissatisfied with my dry as hell sub. ***UPDATE**** I called the next morning to speak with a manager regarding my order. She said to find her the next time I'm in the store and she'll issue a refund, plus give me a free sub. That's a good way to rectify the situation, but I expressed that in general, the deli staff needs improvement. Great neighborhood Publix but so many things turn me off from them staff in some cases make a good impression, but handling of food is not sanitary sometimes in deli mainly and meat department, issues with operation on returns where I purchase a product did not open it and manager refused to do return even though I had a receipt. One of my biggest annoyance is they have hours of operation online 7-11pm everyday but have the Sunday hours only till 10pm where I've been caught countless time going and not allowed to go in because it is 10:15 pm so if they can fix that issue and recirculate staff or train them again on sanitation would be very beneficial to repeat business and less complaints. read more

This is the newly built and improved Publix and it's Lit. I definitely enjoy shopping here rather than the others that are on Biscayne Blvd. It's huge, feels like a super Target only it's Publix. They have a much larger vegetable selection which carries lots more organic produce then any other Publix I've been in and they're cheaper than Whole Foods. They finally got the seafood fresh everyday, you no longer smell the fish before you get to the counter like the older Publix stores. This location has choice cuts of meats like grass fed beef, Kobe and Wagyu steaks you can choose from. Their wine selection is pretty bad ass as well, chill your wine while you complete your shopping. I haven't had any trouble finding anything in this new Publix, shopping is definitely a pleasure here. The shelves are always being packed and if it's not on the shelf somebody will go to the back and get what you need. Their customer service has definitely gone up a notch, cashiers wait at the end of the line letting you know they aren't cashing out anyone. The stock clerks are constantly greeting you like they do in Georgia which is a first in Miami. Anyone living in Miami knows there's usually no manners on display when shopping, whether it's the staff or the customers. This is our local Publix. This location is medium size which is great if your trying to avoid Walmart. The employees are helpful and nicely kept. The isles stay clean and I do not notice so many kids like other supermarkets. The police officer who is always outside is really nice and never overbearing. They do not check receipts but instead thank you for shopping which is very nice. read more

I love love love this store. This is the local Publix in the area. It's a medium sized store, which is great if you're trying to avoid the overwhelming vastness and crowds that comes with the Walmart super center up the road. The employees are super nice and helpful. The store also is always neat and tidy. The isles are always clean and well maintained. Also, the produce and meat sections always look fresh and are constantly maintained. The parking area outside the store is also clean and secure (there's always at least one police officer doing a security beat or you can see a security company constantly going around and around). My only qualm is that Publix is a bit more expensive than either Walmart, Presidente or Aldi's, but the experience you get for that additional expense is more than worth it. read more

On the weekends if you are lucky enough to be in the area you might find Hector and his grill in front of the North Miami Publix. Hector makes the best hot dogs and sausages that I have ever tasted. Hector is one of a kind and a grilling master. He has been grilling for years in the same location. Very disappointed at the deli service this evening. I ordered two subs online and arrived at a later time than the pick-up time I indicated. I arrived and the employees were scrambling around, reading receipts. I must have been standing there for 5 minutes and made eye contact with all of the ladies. If Linda or any of the other employees had acknowledged me, they would have known I was here for a pick-up. Instead, Linda calls my cellphone and I answer and point out that I am right in front of her. She then acts annoyed by me being there. She proceeds to apologize and tell me it will be a few minutes because they were not paying attention to the tickets coming through. An employee that has been working there for a while is assigned to build my sub and she does so painfully slow. I had enough time to write this review. Since I placed my order, I waited an hour for two subs. The subs were incorrectly made with missing ingredients. She was reading them off of the receipt. read more

This is probably one of the worst Publix's in Miami, possibly even the worst Publix in Florida. I know it's hard to come across good customer service in Miami but it's Publix, all I want is for the employee's to be nice. The deli department at this location is horrible, they are just straight up mean. I was there this evening and I went to buy a sub. Normally I pass on this Publix even though it's the closest one to my apartment but tonight I was feeling lazy and decided to take the risk. I get to the sub counter and wait patiently for someone to greet me. I know everyone was busy assisting others so I wasn't trying to rush any of them. One of the ladies'(I wont give her name because I am not trying to get anyone fired) approaches me and stands at the counter and just stares at me. Doesn't ask me what she can get me or how can help me, literally just stares at me waiting for me to say something. She acted like she was so bothered by me ordering a sub. Mind you this is at 7pm, not at 9:50 on a Sunday night and they already put everything away. I work in restaurants, I get it customers can be annoying at times but don't take your anger out on the customers that are being nice to you. Now this has happened to me before here and I am surprised that they haven't had more complaints but I just want something to change over there.
