    Delicious and beautiful cake

Bought an amazing cake yesterday at the last minute for a birthday. Shadow cannoli cake. No one could stop raving about what a beautiful and delicious cake.

    Buffalo Chicken Tender sub!

Best sub I've ever had. Wish we had Publix in Wisconsin! I got the buffalo chicken tenders sub and it was only $9!!!! How about that!?!? So many chicken tenders chopped up on this bad boy. Great service. The jalapeños were low but they went into the back to get more! Very fresh ingredients. I got buffalo chicken tenders with spinach, jalapeños and banana peppers. 10/10

a meal of tofu, peas, carrots, and other vegetables

I came in to get a publix sub and immediately I noticed this Publix was a bit different. There were two islands, an island for subs and an island for ramen and rice bowls. The service was fast, friendly, and courteous. I didnt know if my parents would like a sub with cranberry turkey sub, but I wasn't sure if they'd like the cranberry so they put the cranberries on the side for me. I also asked them to put muenster cheese in there and they took longer, but it was definitely a plus! I got my food and this was one of the Publixs that had Ramen and rice bowls and I was ecstatic. I got the Ramen bowl. I wanted to try a tofu/vegetarian ramen bowl and the guy assured me that everything would be vegetarian. The soup is miso meaning its soy based with no meat and they added 3 scoops of edamame for me because I needed more protein. It also included carrots, corn, half an egg, and of course ramen noodles. I checked out and the guy who made the ramen caught me before I left and said I forgot the tofu! I went back to my hotel, hit the beach and came back. The ramen was packed cutely in a springy little bag with holes very chic. I put the miso in the ramen bowl, added my tofu and voila it was good and what made it even better was the spicy sauce they added. I was impressed with publix, for a grocery store that makes ramen, it sure was tasty! I wish they'd bring that to Atlanta! I'd definitely be all over that.

How this Publix is more expensive then the one in the keys makes zero sense. Everything was double the price.

Best subs in Florida! The ingredients are fresh and the bread is delicious. I love the Boars Head Italian with all the ingredients.

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

It had tangy sauce and a nice char crispy wood oven crust. The spicy salami was good. Con: serious case of "Tip Sag"where the toppings slide off the crust forcing you to take your fork and stab pieces of cheese and scoop sauce. Napkin time. You have to "drag" it off the metal pan to prevent a full topping avalanche. The fresh mozzarella squares were a little tough and may either be old or low quality. The pizza was OK but could have been much better. Ice cold large draft Yuengling. A fair price for pizza and beer.
