Oh my gosh I went to this location on its grand opening a couple months ago and completely forgot to write a review! The staff at this location is super friendly. On the opening there was even more staff than usual and everyone was pleasant. It is one of the smaller locations and the aisles are a bit tight. It was very clean though and I had no problems parking. It's nice to have a Publix in that spot and I'm sure it will be a great convenience for people in the Longwood/Lake Mary area.

IPA on sale and is unadvertised - very nice packaging!

Once you walk in there's a bakery section for all the desserts and baked goods they sell, which really helps with deciding on desserts. Service was pretty fast! The waitress we had was very nice, and she kept checking up on us throughout the meal. I really loved the loaded potato cakes! It's essentially thick hash browns cut into chunks and fried, with all the loaded potato ingredients on top! It was very filling and great for sharing. For the sandwiches, they're pretty good too. If you like Reuben, then their sandwiches are really good! The beef dip one was also super good! It includes a French onion soup dip that you can dip the sandwich into. The sandwich is a bit soggy from all the moisture from the beef and French onion soup, but if you're okay with that, you should be able to enjoy it like I did! The banana dream cake was super good too. Got it to go since the food was very filling but we wanted to try a cake. It wasn't too sweet and the small chocolate chips is a good combo with the banana.

This is located in a shopping area so it's nice that there is a parking lot to park in. It is diner style. Their spread of sides, meats and desserts is impressive! I had a turkey blt, French onion soup and chocolate layer cake. The French onion soup hit the spot on a cold day and tasted amazing. I'm a fan of soup in a little crock and it was chef's kiss! I tasted my friend's matzo ball soup and will definitely be getting that next time! The chocolate layer cake was so rich and delicious I ordered milk to drink with it!

In their ad it looked delicious, with thin-sliced meat stacked high on beautiful marble rye bread. Our pastrami sandwich didn't remotely resemble a true NY deli style thin-sliced hot pastrami sandwich - like we enjoy at TwoJay's a few blocks west. Instead we got maybe 3 tough, thick grisly pieces of some mystery meat that tasted nothing like real pastrami. It was served on thin slices of rock hard stale bread. The flavor was as bad as it was tough to chew. It was a terrible sandwich that cost us almost $20 Hey Jason: don't rip your customers off and especially don't treat them like idiots. Pictures of food you publish in your ad should at least somewhat resemble the final product you deliver. Not here - not even close. The service was good. The folks working here were very pleasant. But the food was definitely sub-par. Even Publix pastrami beats this place. Never again.

Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?
