With very few exceptions, the employees at Dawson Rd are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Every time I shop here, the level of customer service is shockingly low, I honestly don't know if it's a management issue, an issue with the area, or both, but it's consistent. The absolute worst areas are the deli and seafood counters. The employees there treat customers like an absolute burden or the enemy just for asking for service. It is a deeply uncomfortable and weird energy for a workplace where people are being paid to assist the public. If you hate working here that much, let someone else have the job who actually wants it. The only saving grace of this store is the meat department-the guys back there are always friendly, polite, and helpful. I've also run into a couple of kind associates in produce. But for everything else? Drive the extra distance to the Hwy 19 location. The staff there actually knows how to treat people with basic respect.

Even the main number just rang. When my daughter finally got through to someone in the deli department (the 1st time) she was met with a very rude and unhelpful individual. I had call from another city in order to speak to a manager. THEN, I still received an email reminding me to pick up the tray on the original day, after the manager said that she would change the information. My daughter called back the next day in order to make sure that the tray would be ready on the day needed and she STILL couldn't reach anyone on the main number or on the deli number after callin five (5) times and letting it ring. VERY frustrating. She has to now drive to the location today and hope that the tray is ready for pick up. I understand being busy but I have experienced busy stores in metro-Atlanta and have never encountered such poor customer service from Publix. Hoping that they improve in order to save the Publix legacy.

I frequently shop here for my dad although there is a Piggly Wiggly in Montezuma I prefer this location. It's clean and it's "deodorized" meaning you don't smell bloody meats. Some grocery stores have that mildew old smell. Not this store. Floors, countertops, and freezers were clean. Freezers and shelves were fully stocked. Mind you this is Easter Weekend so it was busy. Parking lot was full. Cashiers on post and there are 2 self checkout lanes. The Deli was busy. I glanced at the hot bar - fried/baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots , biscuits, and banana pudding. Customer service top tier. Cashiers greet you as you walk in and at checkout. The owner was walking around greeting you as he walked by. Very friendly guy sorry I didnt get his name :) Ellaville is a very small town where everybody knows everybody. I was with a group and we stopped in for some hotel supplies, but happened to be there the week of the hurricane, so water (our main need) was scarce. We did manage to get some bigger bottles which was nice. I didn't really shop for much else, but it's a nice store, with self-checkouts and regular checkouts, and everything a Publix has!

Huge displays of out of date product. The management in store is also very very poor. The country store road location posted a hiring sign, I called and was told over the phone "OK call me Monday and we will get you in the system and go from there", then the manager blocked my number and ghosted me. I have 24 years of experience in grocery stores specifically, so their is definitely something not kosher in why he suddenly changed his mind, especially given his comments about "the kind of people who work at Pic N Sav." (my previous employer) Not a healthy attitude to have as a supposed member of leadership, and telling about why mike's is in such bad shape that Mike Rogers has tried to sell two of his stores in the last year to his competition.

The market reminds you of an old country store honestly. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. It is almost never crowded. They have an ample number of working motorized carts for the mobility challenged customers. I take my time and ride around the store a few times. I love their condiment sections. They always have something I have never seen before elsewhere so when I find something, I stock up. The store always smells good. Never any would odors either.
