This was a great Publix experience! Even for the standards of Publix, which are very high, this store is awesome! It's bright, clean, and had a spectacular array of fall-themed items, such as pumpkins, Oktoberfest beers, and Halloween candy. I'd highly recommend doing your grocery shopping here! read more

I miss Publix!! My experience at Publix is always amazing. I love that there is always someone near by that you can ask a question. And, as a response to the question, they take you directly to the item(s) so you can quickly and efficiently shop. There is a great selection of products and everything is always so neat and orderly. On this particular trip I checked out their alternative "meats" section (you know, vegan fare?). The only place I have seen more product, (maybe) is a health food store specializing in such products. I don't know how publix does it, but even the older locations are super clean and fresh looking. When will Publix be in Alaska?!? Lol. read more

I'm a big fan of Publix and all these years never had an issue. But this particular Publix has given me a few issues. Most recent was a price difference (6 dollars) on a cake that was very clearly advertised in the cooler as being the bake of the week and on sale for 19.99 I double checked with the bakery attendant that the cake was indeed on sale before taking it away to the register. At the register the clerk argued with me and the bagger then told me he must of told me wrong. He then walked over to the bakery without actually checking and said there was no clear prices listed. The women at the register eventually gave me the price requested but did not seem happy to do so. Went to refill a prescription that had been filled for over TWO YEARS and the Pharmacy manager decided upon herself that she didn't want to fill it because of her own opinion. All other pharmacist had been filling it with no problem, the doctor called it in, as she does every month. The pharmacy manager thought she was above everyone else's education level apparently. No reason other than her opinion that she didn't want to refill it. I'm an RN, I completely understand all medications that are prescribed to me, their side effects and how they help. Yesterday I went to publix to do some shopping and took the opportunity to send money to my family in VENEZUELA, which became a terrible nightmare since Mrs. Sofía from costumer services treated me in a derogatory way for not speaking English perfectly. I have 7 months in this country and I am studying English, I think it should be a little more empathetic, as they are in the publix of the Harbison Bldv that if they look for a way to understand me and remain with a smile on their face. Lovely bakery staff! Stopping in just checking on some options and they were able to help me make something really special and unique. I wanted a beautiful non-cake birthday sweet option. They took my order, heard my needs, presented options. It was so simple and easy, I was almost in tears of relief. If I ever, ever need a baked good ever I will go out of my way to come to this location. They have thought of everything. I ended up with this incredible German dessert that couldn't hold candles but they had Happy Birthday picks they put on for me instead. Definitely appreciated both their thoughtfulness and going the extra mile to make my kids birthday dinner special. Plus the German Ganache was absolutely SPECTACULAR! PAY ATTENTION! If you don't pay attention and take the time to connect with the people, you might miss out on some important information or the all important "hook-up". Now that I am recognized at my favorite furniture store, I am often asked what I am looking for and told what is in the back waiting to come to the floor. Sometimes employees will tell you when the trucks deliver and what days are best for shopping. Sometimes you will be in the right place at the right time and "your people" will hook you up just because. The most interesting experience I had was arriving home and discovering an extra piece of jewelry added to my bag and knowing that it was not a mistake, due to the size and that fact that it was wrapped separately. When we entered this store, I went straight to the deli in order to purchase my favorite wings and soup. Yes, they had plenty of fresh and hot mojo wings for evening visitors. I requested my standard order: 6 wings please. She informed me that the wings were sold by the piece and not the pound and told me what the price was for 5 and 10 wings, I said okay, I'll take 6. She repeated this again. While she is talking to me, I am only half listening because my husband is talking to me as well about the soup bar. Suddenly, I realize that she is trying to tell me something so I look directly at her and realize that she is trying to tell me that the purchase of 10 wings is a better value due to bulk pricing. Oooh! Got it! She gives us free samples and I of course purchase the 10 wings because why not? They are my absolute favorite and I will have plenty to share. After returning to the hotel, I discover that somebody had hooked a sister up! Yes, I had more wings than I had actually ordered and I was elated. The wings were so big and meaty that we could not even finish them in one sitting. However, they proved to be the perfect late night snack. Those wings were absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and perfectly baked. The vegetable soup was good too because it was hot and fresh and always pairs well with the baked wings. I love having Publix as my favorite travel companion because when I can't find a restaurant, they never disappoint. No matter what time of day or where we are, if there is a Publix around we know that we will have something good to eat:, soups, fresh salads, chicken wings and fresh fruit. From Florida originally and so glad we have Publix here!!! By far the best grocery store ever! Within a mile of our house this is a daily stop for our household. Pharmacy - outstanding and we know most of the workers, very friendly and very helpful! Meat - excellent service! Seafood - my favorite stop! We have been talking to Brenda at the counter for years she is a sweetheart and we look forward to seeing her my boys love her and it is a pleasure to chat with her, she is so friendly and funny, she obviously makes a lot of friends and people come back to seafood just to see her and buy some great fish and shrimp! I used to love this publix. I work nearby, so it was extremely convenient. In the past few months, it's really gone down hill. Employees are rude and seem worn down. Store is always understocked. Managers seem unaffected. The only portion of the store that has remained in tact are the cashiers. The deli staff is horrible. All in all, whoever took control of this store several months ago has really made me feel differently about Publix as a company. read more

Outstanding staff. I was having trouble with getting a prescription in California at walgreens. I told the pharmacist at publix and she transferred the perscription. Turned out the perscription needed to be called in again by my doctor, as due to some law in California it could not be transferred. The pharmacist tried so hard to help me. Her helpful attitude in a stressful situation was wonderful. In the years I've been going to Publix Pharmacy, I've had zero complaints. read more
