Got back out to the car with a load of groceries and got them into the car. Then I realized that the guy that rang me up put in the wrong watermelon and it charged me two extra dollars for it. Not good. I didn't go back in the store because I already had ice cream in the car. And I'm 72 years old and couldn't handle really going back in to take care of it. Publix is definitely a go to for fresh produce. They also have great recipes every now and then. It's not my go to store because I think most things are overly priced. However, the store is always clean and the customer service is always amazing. read more

I have shopped at this Publix since it opened. It's convenient and consistent. The staffing has changed over the years but I have never had a bad experience. During the pandemic the service was consistent and they did not miss a beat. I only get my prescriptions filled here. There are times they may be out of certain meds but they normally have them the next day. Publix hands down is my favorite grocery store chain. read more

A great friendly team and our go to grocery store. While the food depot is much closer, they just can't compete with Publix. We also use the pharmacy and I can't say enough about the team from the pharmacists to the techs, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely correct. The store is clean and bright and items are easily located. I'd have given five stars but they need a real meat department with better educated butchers. There is nothing worse than a butcher (or maybe they are just meat stockers) trying to convince your the piece of meat they have is the cut your looking for when you know better. Or to ask for a special cut (such as having a gat cap left in tact) and they can't because the meat isn't cut there but mass cut at the distribution center and repackaged at the store. read more

Recently I visited the Publix on GA HWY 212 and was disheartened by the experience. I placed an online order for 3 sub sandwiches to be picked up at 6:40pm. I took my time going over to the deli just to make sure my order would be ready when I arrived. At 6:45pm, I went to the area where online pick up sandwiches are placed and no sandwiches were there. There were about 5 other patrons in line placing orders for either subs or chicken tenders. As I was waiting, the lady next to me shared that she had been waiting on her online order as well. Her pick up time was 6:25pm...it was 6:50 and she still hadn't received her order. At about 6:55 one of the employees asked if I had been helped and I explained that I had an online pick up. She went through 5 other online orders that had not been started and began making my sandwiches. As I was waiting, the line continued to grow. While it was apparent that they were short staffed, there was little to no order in how they were working the line. Not what I expected from Publix. All the workers were pleasant however I can't help but feel additional training may be needed on what to do to move a line when you are limited on staff. There were 4 employees trying to attend to the sub section and the hot food section but the line still moved to slow. My sandwiches were finished at 7:20pm...which defeated the purpose scheduling an order online. I would have preferred someone call to advise that a 6:40 time wasn't feasible and given me the option to come later or cancel my order. I won't even speak on the sloppiness of how the sandwiches were thrown together because I get that they were trying to get it out to me. Just really disappointed with this experience. read more

In general the store is fine. But their deli is weak. We ordered 2 sandwiches a couple of months ago and the food was not ready at the promised time. In addition, guy who made it was not masked. Today we placed an order for a sandwich. When we got there at the promised time, they had not even started making it. Then the two deli employees got into an argument over who was going to make it. This Publix bakery is the very best! Their cookie cakes and raspberry cream cheese cake are delicious. If you need extra utensils for anything, they happily oblige! The employees are very helpful and friendly. Not all Publix bakeries are the same. This one is outstanding!!! read more
