Today, August 6th, 2026, this paper was thrown onto my driveway where my $200K vehicle was temporarily parked. The paint job alone on this car is about $15K. The delivery person threw the paper right at my car. This dirty paper hit my car! And, I've got it on film! From the looks of it, it could have been purposely thrown to hit my car...who really knows? This is something that should not have happened! So, Grunion Gazette, if this had caused damage to my paint or some other damage to my car, are you going to cover the cost of the damages and repairs? There's a noticeable bias in how stories are reported -- especially on local politics -- and it feels more like an opinion blog than a legitimate news source. Instead of presenting balanced coverage, certain voices are elevated while others are ignored or unfairly portrayed. The reporting can also be inconsistent and sometimes lacks context, which makes it hard to fully trust what's being shared. I understand it's a small, volunteer-based publication, but if you're going to cover civic matters, journalistic standards matter.
