Rudest pharmacist I've ever met named Alexis works here. Been in Paris for weeks, was always treated well by everyone except her. When I addressed how rude she was being, her excuse was that she was on an 8 hour shift alone and was stressed. That doesn't excuse treating your customers horribly and refusing to help them. She was ten times nicer to every Parisian and person who spoke French and even threatened to not serve me because I asked why she was behaving so rudely. Do not recommend. There's so many more pharmacies in Paris where you won't be humiliated even if you were buying 500 euros worth of product. read more

Day one in Paris, and it's freaking hot. We stopped here to get a drink and guess who we see? Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. No freaking joke. The wife was too shy to ask for a picture, and I'm not a big enough fan to approach and man on a mission to buy booze. As for the store itself? It's pretty large and it's not your typical drug store. It's a fancy shmancy one that has almost everything you might need, but at a price. It's a pretty cool place with an awesome entrance. Nothing out of this world, but still interesting. read more

American Tourist here. Funny story, we stroll in to check out what this place is. It's like a combo book store, liquor store, bakery, cigar store. There's also a L'Atelier Robuchon located inside. Anyways we go in, look around and ask if there is a restroom, the guy replied MUCH friendlier than we expected. Our experience thus far when asking for the restroom in Paris has not been great! So we head up to the restroom and it's fairly nice and i'm thinking oh man this is so much better than using that glorified porta potty with the huge line, score! When I leave, this guy says something to me which i didn't really understand, i'm thinking he's saying "the restroom is for customers only" so i'm like yah i'm leaving relax! He stops me and points to a sign. 1 euro to use the restroom! Damn, that is pretty pricey to use the restroom! Anyways I pay and leave. Afterwards I found out 2 of my friends who went to Paris on 2 completely different trips had the exact same experience! What are the chances 2 people I know from LA also got pwned 1 euro in Paris at some random "drugstore!" I guess paying the 1 euro was worth it just to be able to tell this story! read more

This is my seventh visit to Paris in the past five years and Publicis is always on my agenda to visit at least once. Where else can you visit at 10pm on a Monday night for a box of authentic Cuban cigars, a box of La Maison du Chocolat and fresh Pierre Herme macarons? No where in the world is the answer. Besides these items Publicis has a great selection of premium cigar accessories, single malts and wine. The bounty on this visit were a couple of boxes of the 2016 French Regional Edition Quai d'Orsay Secretos and a half dozen Pierre Herme Macarons. Their walk in humidor was well stocked and I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of boxes of the Secretos sitting on the shelves so I purchased both. The staff are always very pleasant and prices are fair for Paris. Don't get confused in thinking that Publicis is simply a drugstore. read more

Publicis is a go to in Paris for an American. Open late, lots of wine and cute things, a little pharmacy inside, a restaurant that has been recently redone. It is pricey but if you shop smart you'll get some nice European made gifts. The other night I dined in their totally renovated restaurant and it was a delicious meal. I had the chateaubriand steak and my god! It was incredible. Publicis is a great place to grab a meal, buy cigarettes and magazines, they carry skinceuticals products, they have a wine and cigar department, books and my favorite candle brand Astier de Villatte. A very nice place to take a break from the sights! And it's near the iconic Arc de Triomphe! So you can continue your sights quickly after your visit. Right off the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the Champs Elysées, Publicis Drugstore is a shopping center that houses a few eateries (including L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon), a small bookstore/gifts section, a drugstore/pharmacy area, a grocery section with a coffee stand, and a Pierre Hermé outpost for your macaron fix. Everything seems to have a slight markup so it's not the place to get deals, but it's super convenient if you are wandering along the Champs or staying in a hotel near the Arc (as we were). Even more convenient is that the retail portion is open late (~2 am but we never went past midnight -- note: Pierre Hermé closes around 10 or 10:30). read more

We have visited this place twice during our visit to paris for new year. The food was both time was exceptional on both taste and presentation. Service when we were siting outside was not really great. However, we we sat inside for second time, Lisa was great and provide very good service. Let's talk about the food, most important part of any business. My wife liked the salmon so much that she ordered it twice. It serve with very delicious spinach salad and it was grilled to perfection with amazing taste.  For first visit, I have ordered the angus beef steak. It was very good steak but nothing compared to my second visit order which was pepper steak tenderloin. This dish was truly delicious and amazing. The environment os also nice and cozy inside. Surprisingly, Publicis carries very rare Japanese whiskey that are limited or not available in more upscale liquor shop. We found Hibiki 17 and 21 yr here! These whiskeys were not on display and we had to ask the person in charge. He was super helpful and since he didn't have hibiki 17 in stock, he ordered us one for pick up. Highly recommend for those looking for Japanese / rare whiskeys. read more

Seriously, this upscale "drugstore" has it all -- pharmacy, cigars, liqueurs, champagne, sandwiches, Pierre Herme pastries, part bookstore, part giftshop, Joel Robuchon restaurant, steakhouse, brasserie, and I believe even a cinema to boot! I love this place. I fondly remember this place years ago during my last trip and now and back with much love. This place has everything, even a pharmacy that is open past most pharmacies in the neighborhood. The baked goods here are just amazingly delicious. Even my baby croissant was perfectly made. It is conveniently near champs élysées and right next door to our hotel. Come here for a snack, OTC meds, souvenirs, or the best macarons on the planet aka Pierre Hermes macarons- simply perfection. When I first came here, I was visiting with my girlfriends. We discovered it after dinner on our way back home. We were looking for a store to buy standard items such as water and snacks. Did we come out with just that? Of course not. We bought Pierre Hermé macarons, savoury finger foods from Dalloyau, bottles of wine, stationery, Roger & Gallet soap, and a universal plug adapter. Is it convenient? But of course! It's open late and you can get your shopping fix at just one stop. Is it expensive? But of course! It's on the Champs-Élysées right by the Arc de Triomphe. Most items there are probably marked up. The baguette ordinaire is probably the one thing priced fairly there. It's great to check out all the cool items but beware, it is a bit pricier. Great if you need things late at night, otherwise I'd rather be prepared and save a few euros. 4/100 read more
