I am visiting from North Carolina to visit my great grandchild. The first time I went to the…read morepharmacy and said I wanted to use Good Rx I was told they may use their savings card and I informed them if Good Rx was cheaper I would rather use Good Rx and Good Rx was cheaper and it was honored. I was getting the remainder of my prescriptions refilled and was told first of all I did not have a refill for Lisinopril and I informed the tech again, It was a refill that was being transferred from a home pharmacy. Then I was told if they lose money with Good Rx they would be using their card because they did not want to lose money. To make a long story short, I spoke to the head pharmacy manager and was told if they honored the Good Rx they may have to go out of business like Rite Aid did and after more conversation was told I could find another pharmacy. Which I did Walgreens - who will honor Good Rx. There were several other pharmacies that will honor the card in this area. I did speak with corporate who told me this rating would not be necessary. I feel it is necessary because what the pharmacist did not realize is I am not only an older adult, I am still a nurse and have been practicing for 47 years. I help people with different problems obtaining medications. Don't frequent this store unless you can get Eric to help you. He is amazing.

After becoming an unexpected caretaker for some baby chicks (hens), we needed to find a place that…read morewould carry the proper feed. Petsmart/Petco do not regularly carry any such things anymore, and at best you can find overpriced cracked corn, which is fine for fully grown hens, but not for chicks. I was skeptical of Sutter Orchard; not originally being from the area, the exterior doesn't look like the most welcoming, having seen the large and slightly dilapidated SOS sign passing by; I'm new to some of the rural/farm side of life, and this was my first feed store I've actually been to. But I have to say, I was really impressed with Sutter Orchard! The people were pretty helpful and friendly, they have a great selection, whether you have horses, chickens, dogs, cats, or whatever; they even had a refrigerated antibiotic section for specific animals, if that's something you're needing. The place is also fairly nice, quaint, but still very nice inside; as far as small businesses go, they really seem to take care of it. The only downside would be the price; I know much of it can be found cheaper, and the stuff that is found at the big-box stores can be found much much cheaper (tools especially). But, for a store that has a good selection, carries less-common items, is conveniently located, and has friendly staff, I will become a regular here.
