I won four units in auction on Friday from this storage company at four different locations across…read moreTulsa. Two out of four units was infested with mice and mice droppings and one with roaches and both were a total loss. I really think when you open a door to take pics and list said units on storage treasures and you can visually see the mice droppings and smell the piss it needs to be listed in the auction description! Both units are deplorable and without a doubt need to be hauled to the landfill. I have come to the conclusion that the people renting these units are below the poverty threshold and the cheapest place in Tulsa to rent a storage is Securcare. I know already that I will be banned from Storage Treasures and won't be able to bid again and I don't care but as far as the two infested units go well I left them so securcare can hire a clean out crew to clean them out because I'm NOT, I don't bid on units to remove trash I bid to sell and support my family.

Ahh....safe and sound. The big bad virus out there and we are worried about it...but not about our…read morestuff...no siree BOB. Tucked away in a storage unit overseen my intelligent, mature, honest, common sense kind of ambitious people... NOT HERE. NO WAY. Run, run, run with all of your stuff. They will lie to you. They will sell your stuff even though they have made an agreement with you not to. Then? When they eff up and sell your stuff anyway? They won't lift a finger to rectify the situation. All of your children's baby stuff? Poof gone. All of your clothes? Gone. See, the covid got them kicked out of their place to live and the landlord was unrelenting. So, they took what remainder of their stuff they had and stuck it in these storage units, regretfully. Fast forward, oops....the pandemic is not over. Get a moratorium on your residential rent. Get a moratorium on your utilities, on your phone....but not your strorage unit. They cannot show up during the snow storm, even though YOU did to work out an agreement. Hell, half the city went to work, but not the only folks who could help you save your possessions. So, finally, someone makes a deal with you. Friday, they say. Bring the money. You agree. Except...the NEXT DDDDAAAAYYYY, THE VERY NEXT EFFIN DAY, they sell your stuff. OOPPPPSSS. MAKE EXCUSES FOR YOU INEPTITUDE. I WANT YOU TO. JUST ANOTHER COUNT IN THE COMPLAINT. GET READY FOLKS.... RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY WITH ALL OF YOUR STUFF.

So have to say this review is on the process of doing a lease on a storage unit…read more My husband and I in September last year rented a storage unit. I did it all wrong to be honest. I did not go look at it and I did not do much research. We rented from another company, we rented a climate control unit it was in a gated area but the building it was in was never locked. Our unit was broken into in a few months. We asked them to secure the building as they have other locations and the building is secure. The fence around the unit could be climbed. We tried to work with them but had no luck. All that said yesterday we went to Extra Space Storage to look at a unit, find out their security of the units and how secure the units were. As I learned my lesson to not just go online and rent a unit. The experience was amazing the Manager Joseph was a great help. ALL units are indoor and ina. Locked in area no one without access should ever be in there. I felt peoples stuff was very secure, not to say that things won't happen there is always that chance but ai don't feel that it is easy at all for it to happen. We saw the security cameras that are all around inside and we're working an a huge display screen. (Not like our other location that after it was broken into said their cameras have not been working for a while.) These units are all inside the old JC Penny's area or Promenade Mall at 41st and Yale. You drive in the gate inside the building and can get close to your unit or have a drive up unit that you can pull up too. Ours is not a drive up but very close to where you can park. They have carts inside to load and unload your vehicle or storage unit. The lock system they use is a cylinder lock and harder for it to be broken into so that was another security measure I loved.
