It is at the top of the hill with parking for cars and they also have Penske trucks to rent out. Teri, the manager, is one of the sweetest people you may ever meet. Always smiles and ready to help and she will do anything she can to help you. The facility is always clean and well maintained and the trucks that she rents are always at top notch condition. Different sizes of units available and they also have outside RV parking covered and uncovered. The prices are compatible and the service is awesome so what else can I say that will make it easy to understand that this location is great. Call Teri at Aloha storage for all of your storage needs and for truck rental too (Penske) and you'll be happy that you chose them. They also erased the video footage so they wouldn't get caught. The garbage insurance policy they sold us on didn't cover the loss because of the way the sneaky scumbag staff was able to enter my unit, by using the lock code assigned to lock , that was available to staff on the iPad. The property manager acts as if her hands are tied, except for putting in a REQUEST for a temporary rate reduction to the previous amount, with no guarantee that it will be approved. The company has no centralized customer support, as their multiple phone numbers we have found all automatically refer you to the phone tree for the location of your unit, and the only option to speak with a person is to speak to the property manager, who may or may not be available to take your call. Bottom line, I will NEVER rent a storage unit with Public Storage again, no matter the location, and if they take over a property where my stuff is stored, I will relocate it again.

When unloading them…read moreI found out they both had roof leaks that had seemingly been there for quite some time and was unfortunately at the back of the units so it was not visible from the doors. The onsite staff was contacted immediately so they could start an incident report that could be used to file a claim with the insurance that they require you to have on your units. They were combative throughout the entire process, specifically Christi. No problem, at least I have the insurance to help with the $6,000 of damage to my possessions. NOT, they denied the claims on both of my units claiming that because I visited the units after the date of loss, I should have noticed the damage and submitted a claim then. (They literally would not answer me when I asked if I was expected to unpack my unit regularly to check for water damage, as they were inferring which is ridiculous) Dont be fooled by their low rates as I was. I cannot encourage you enough to steer clear of this facility.

This year it seems exponentially to where I'm over $270 a month. They have tried to trick me into returning their calls by leaving a message saying they can't empty my space until I remove my lock. I'm not an idiot. Other than the fact that what's in my space is not worth the thousands of dollars I have paid them. But my point is this is how they treat someone who has spent so much money. They're advertising first month free, but I guess my unit doesn't qualify? Anyway, Joe was helpful in walking me through signing the paperwork (not a contract but you still have to give them your license and sign a "contract." Not a true contract, as it's month-to-month). I did read a review which wasn't happy about the clause in this paperwork which states Extra Storage has the right to change the price at their discretion/to reflect the market, basically. But it says a 30 day notice is given. I'll keep a watch on that and keep y'all informed because I did find other storage places around here that have competitive pricing. Pricing wise, for my 5x10 unit as of right now (unless they raise my price) I'm paying $47/month + $11 for insurance. I did discuss having my renter's cover the unit instead but the pricing was about the same so I went with Extra's (it covers flood and pest). The first month costed me $100 because they add a $24 administration fee and I bought the cylinder lock for $17 from them as well. I have high hopes that I will be happy with Extra Storage, the location is close. The front entrance has construction so you have to pass in front of all those hotels. Which is fine by me. The back entry is easy to access as well. There's locks and gates so people can't just get inside the property without a code.
