This place will lure you in with low prices, but then will increase it huge amounts over a short time. My mom has a storage unit that has increased in monthly price $15 over TWENTY YEARS. This one has increased from like $70/month to $350/month over just a few years. Basically, unless you are sure you only need it for a month, you would be FAR better off going somewhere else. The hours are absurdly limited, and they have a rodent problem. A ton of my stuff has been ruined, and their "insurance" is a joke and a half (read the terms; it covers basically nothing). If you care about the stuff you put in storage or need to access it during non-business hours or if you can't afford to spend like half of what an actual apartment would cost for an area that is less than a freaking garage, then definitely go elsewhere. Fort Wayne has much, much better options than the Public Storage scam. read more

I rented several spaces for several months, I spent thousands of dollars over last 6 months. I had spaces at all 3 Locations Illinois Rd. Coliseum and Rock Dove, the 2 stars are for the friendly service (Lori and Rita). I chose Public Storage because of the app and the convenience. I was VERY disappointed in the move out! I was charged for a unit I scheduled move out on app Because I had accessEd property for a different unit on the 1st of month I was charged for the entire month, the issue I have with that is the woman at coliseum was rude and no help at all! The app needs to be clear on move outs, and in my opinion the whole move out procedure needs HELP! read more

Have had my items in a unit and they have consistently raised the price each year. I am now paying double plus what I was told I would pay. And those that bring their things in now pay less. Will be moving my items as soon as I can. Would not recommend this company. Find some place else. One would think that when they have a good client they would be good to them but no this company doesn't. I have been late twice and both times were because of COVID. HORRIBLE. Do not rent from this place. The buildings all have water damage. The gate doesn't work properly when exiting. You have to enter a code to get out, so what if the gate breaks while you're inside?!?! You're guess is as good as mine, maybe 911. Also people live here. Some guy fixing a broken down 19** Dodge Ram is the person I saw. When I asked, do you have association with this property his response was "no it's closed, I live her" I replied, why the attitude, you could have just said no. He replies "the office is closed and my girlfriend is the manage." So the manager lives on property and yes it looks very, lack of better terms, trashy. As far as the rental process online: easy yet why allow a person to rent a enter while the office is closed and closing hours at 9pm. Every other storage facility in this city has hours up to 11pm or 24/7 access. This is MY stuff I pay your company for, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY STUFF WHENEVER I WANT! Needless to say I'll be moving this stuff right on out immediately. I pay 110 for them to send me emails about being on property after hours: you rented the unit after hours!!!!!Cameras, none! Fence, I can jump that in 3 seconds and I'm 44 and 5'2. Did I mention the crater sized potholes throughout. I found ONE camera, it points at the exit/entrance.Recap: manager's boyfriend in rude for no reason and she says nothing about how he talks to NEW customers. She was standing right there and as the manager should have been speaking with me not her attitude having, disrespectful boyfriend. Also if the manager is granted the right to live on site, why does her boyfriend have the ability to be on-site with his demeanor. Fire her and put them both out. And I'll be leaving this on Yelp as well.Note, all the reviews are old and when it was under different management. They definitely are not talking about the people I just met. See the standing mold on the wall outside my unit. Definitely been water damaged before. read more

Jessica in the office is fantastic! she got back with me right away, answering all of my questions very politely and she knew her stuff! when i went to rent the storage, she walked to my unit even though it was freezing outside that day. she told me all about security, what to expect and again answered every question i had. i feel safe using this location. very clean and they do hourly lock checks!!! awesome!!!!Thanks Jessica! read more

She took me back, showed me the locker to make sure it would work for me, brought me back to office, walked me through the paper work, explained everything, maid sure I was happy before signing. Holly was very helpful she answered all my questions and very nice great job holly. Also just for future reference, not for holly, but for review purposes, it should be easier to write a review. I really wanted to write a review because holly was awesome the whole time with a very helpful attitude and very sincere and made me want to get my unit at that location but the process of having to write a review took about 20 minutes to figure it out for both google and yelp. With my iPhone it wouldn't even give the option to write a google review so maybe create some paper reviews for people to hand write and sign. Very nice facility. The on-site manager was very friendly and helpful. Loved the feeling of getting personalized attention for my needs. Am happy that they had the size unit I needed available and the security system looks like it covers the guards completely. The only suggestion I have is for those that rent a unit to double check the gate numbers on the card given to the numbers on the packet. read more

I just rented a storage unit from Janel at this location this afternoon and I don't know how she could have done a better job. This was my first experience renting a storage unit and she was very patient in explaining to me and showing me the unit and explaining how everything works. Very Happy. read more
