The owners of Superior Self Storage were SO kind and eager to answer my questions and help me in so many ways. The facility was nice, they were actively updating it when I moved in. Matt, one of the owners, was always available when I needed to ask a question. he also went out of his way to make sure I felt safe on the property. Genuinely their prices were the best I found in all of Fort Wayne, I have been thrilled with the service I received. Not that having to store things is a pleasure, but working with Southwest Self-Storage made it not…read moreso painful. The facility is nice and new, and I was the first to use my climate controlled unit. The manager at the location was very helpful in explaining the doors, locks, payments, etc. My complaint there is that they didn't tell me in advance that they have a truck available for your use on the day your storage starts. That would have been so helpful! The units are clean and the building overall is well kept. They have a variety of sizes and if you call at the right time, you may be able to get a special price (as I did). One thing you should double check when you sign up is the term - I believe they advertise as 30 days, but if you are renting in February (like me), you may not get all 30 days that you pay for. Just make sure to discuss this up front with them. I definitely recommend this location if you ever have storage needs in Southwest Allen.

I don't even care about most of the items because they are replaceable. There are, however, a few boxes that have journals and mementos from my youth that are very precious to me because I had intended to pass them along to my children one day. But Dupont won't return them too me even though my signature is all thorough them without a judgment and the judge won't let me sue them directly because it's her unit. So all I can do is try and spend the next several years trying to get money from my ex friend which doesn't help at all because all I really want are my memories back! It's all very upsetting and wrong. I never should have trusted my friend or DuPont Storage with something so precious to me.... :'(

Absolutely horrendous office staff. Twice the woman in the office has phoned my mother accusing my…read morefather of throwing away mattresses in the dumpster. When my mother tries to reason with the woman that they have never had mattresses there, the description of the vehicles didn't match anything they owned, and that my father was at work, the woman simply got louder and more obnoxious. A short time later she called back with a begruding apology stating "I just walked out and counted the doors and it wasn't your husband." She was rude, obnixous, unprofessional, and arrogant. This woman should not have a job and at the least shouldn't be allowed to use the telephones.
