Regarding my missing belongings my husband went and spoke with cube smart front desk and they said if it happened a month back they don't have any footage because it was The storage place footage a month prior . Weird how The storage place has not responded.... I understand The storage place isn't liable for anything but not even having the camera footage is outrageous. We had an unexpected and urgent need for an immediate storage space arising from the unexpected failure of the seller to sign off for our new home. Anticipating a "normal" house closing and taking possession of our new home, we drove from San Antonio arrived in Corpus with both SUVs loaded with personal items. Working with our realtor Stephanie Hastings and with her advice we called The Storage Company@ Holly. We called and had told Samantha about our dilemma. Despite the panic in my voice, she remained cordial, expressed a true understanding of our dilemma and worked with me to find an appropriate size storage unit. In addition, she set up a short-term month to month rental, and called the Holly facility to coordinate with Amanda at the front desk our arrival and check in to the unit. Amanda arrived, took us to our unit, and with us never anticipating we would be renting a storage unit rental had locks available. When I returned the next day I met Lindsey and Lilly. Lindsey told me she had spoken with the team and was aware of our situation and was glad they could help. Lilly similarly expressed appreciation for our business. All be it a short rental I cannot emphasizes the person touch, the genuine interest in helping, and the follow thorough in providing a service (not to mention the clean and secure units) that is uncompromised in the storage business.

I lived just across the street in a RV community. So it was close to home and it was close to where I worked on NAS Corpus Christi. It was convenient. July 4 2023 my unit was broken into. over 2000 dollars of property was stolen. I received ONE phone call which I missed. The voice message informed me that they noticed the lock was missing. But it was clear that my unit was broken into. It was Four days later when I realized SAFE Guard had called and left a message. Four days days the rest of my property was left exposed to more theft because they put no priority on my property to call me again. Three other units at this foul business were also broken into that weekend. They didn't call the police or file a report with the local police. The lighting was severely inefficient. (IT WAS DARK AT NIGHT)Most of the bulbs were broken and not fixed. Minimal security cameras and the few that were there looked fifty years old. After walking the property it was clear the lock lasps on the units many have been broken into. They don't improve the integrity of their locks. They just have "patches" to fix the broken into locks. Or they just replace the broken into locks with the same type of failed locks. Do not use this facility. Many attempts made to speak to management thru email and phone calls. Crickets. Was told by a worker that she didn't have a supervisor. Sorry. SMH. Was going to sue them but with the luck of the gods I obtained employment which enabled me to move from that wretched city. I can't prove this at all. But I really believe that the theft of property was an inside job. Too much to write on this review to go into detail. Very important to note...The video surveillance showed the thief had the gate code and entered freely through the gate. THREE months after the theft of my property the gate code WAS NEVER CHANGED. NEVER. I kept an open account with them only to document in my law suit that they NEVER CHANGED the codes to the gate. Or made any other improvements to prevent theft at this storage facility.

We had to make the drive into corpus countless times from out of town just to be able to ask simple questions because he wouldn't pick up the phone!! At this point we had already left him a $1,000.00 deposit. We took design of the wrap we wanted and sat with him a total of 3 hrs (over a course of a month and a half) at most to make sure he centered the design where we wanted etc. because we soon realized he was lazy and was not doing anything to work on what we wanted. Towards the end we realize, he's gonna do a half ass job by overlaying tons of the wrap which according to every wrap company we have spoken with is the laziest and worst way to do what we wanted. I should also mention that he wanted ANOTHER $1,000 added to the end price to be able to do it RIGHT! U think a company would do it right to begin with!! Also realizing that he's more of a t-shirt and banner type of business not soo much skilled for wrapping vehicles in our opinion, We informed him we didn't want a shit job done on our truck and that we wouldn't be giving him our project or our business. He said he was keeping the deposit of $1,000 even tho nowhere on receipt etc. does it say that if anyone backs out because HE decides to do a lazy ass awful job, that he gets to keep the money. We learned that the facility was unsecured at the time, with the front gate left open. The security camera on our building was also broken, so thieves had easy, unsecured access to our property. Management and the owner knew this and chose not to alert any customers! Since the burglary, employees have treated my husband and me like total garbage. We've lost everything we have cared about--haven't we been through enough? Apparently not! We have been lied to over and over and over again. We get ghosted for months at a time. Their protection plan/insurance refuses to pay because they say there is no evidence of a crime. We have to rebuild our lives from scratch, while they keep adding insult to injury. Then I come on Yelp and see that this is not an isolated incident! This exact scam has been going on for YEARS, and these clowns keep getting away with it! Please take these horror stories seriously and choose another property. Also, really read positive reviews thoroughly; it is very clear they are phony. Are you kidding - no one has ever loved storage that much!
