I had a very disappointing experience. I booked a 3-person move for what was supposed to be a…read more2-hour job, and I was quoted under $400 total, including travel and labor. I confirmed this multiple times before booking--at least three times--and verified the price again the day I paid the deposit. I was also very clear about the scope of work: I would be providing all packing materials, I already had boxes and containers pre-packed, and I needed furniture moved downstairs and loaded onto the truck. Everything was discussed upfront. However, when the movers arrived, I was presented with a bill of over $700 and told the job would take 7 hours. They also added new restrictions that were never disclosed beforehand, such as only moving items already in containers. Because this was completely different from what was agreed to, I canceled the service. I had paid a $100 deposit, and they only refunded $28--keeping $72 despite not performing any work. Based on this experience, this felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and it put me in a very difficult position on moving day. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and confirming all terms upfront before booking.

After many (MANY!) calls to that facility, we were told to go to this facility the next day. When we got here, we were not only given a truck with no signal or brake lights, but were also told we had to pay the "weekend" price of $.99 cents a mile instead of $.69 cents a mile. They changed trucks when we complained, but wouldn't do anything about the mileage fee. I was told to "call corporate". That will be another review, but needless to say, it won't be good. Obviously, their attitude and customer service mode come from the top!

I had to pay lien fee plus late fee and monthly fee to make sure my stuff was not auctioned. This company shows no humanity or remorse. They apologize and take your money with a smiling face. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Try maybe a local storage. This company is almost a scam in regard to the way tenants are treated. I will be looking for another place.
