Christina is awesome! She is always pleasant, friendly and helpful! When I needed to move into a larger unit she was able to accommodate and keep me posted on progress of when one would be ready for me. read more

As mentioned by other reviewers, they get you in at a lower rate and then raise the rent quickly. This creates hardship for many people. At the same time, everything is now automated, so no there is no employee on site. Further, there used to be 3 working carts that renters could borrow. They are now down to one (second cart has cardboard instead of a wheel). So, in summary, high rent, no employee on site, and they are not providing carts-- greed. read more

Avoid!!!! They get you in at a suckers rate and then raise the rate every 3 months. I started 12 months ago at $125 and now I just got my notice that its going up again now $418. RIGHT NOW we can book the same 10x20 for $146. SEE PICTURE ATTACHED RUN THESE GUYS ARE SCAMS. You have to struggle to cancel your unit. read more

Public Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Casselberry, Florida

RENT ANYWHERE ELSE! I work on the road a lot and I rented my house because I was going to be on a 12 month job assignment. I moved into a storage unit in Casselberry, FL, in 03/2023. In under 12 months, my rent was increased by 78% of my original contract amount. I have a second unit of the same size in the same building one floor down that I had two months prior, 01/2023, and my rent has been increased by 95% of my original contract amount in the first 12 months. They are currently (04/2024) advertising the same exact unit size for the same exact price as my original contract. This company is a bait and switch specialist. They get people in their units by offering rent equal to or just under local facilities, then raise rent within 90 days knowing it's expensive, labor intensive, and difficult for people to take time off of work to move to another facility. Several times when I came home to do work on my house, I couldn't even get to my tools because the elevator was not working and the stairs are only emergency stairs and will not open from inside the stairwell. With the money they are charging, they could have completely replaced the broken elevators with 1 to 2 month's of their extortion level rents. read more

The building is very warm, I would appreciate it being cooler, I appreciate the extra layer of security by having to put my code in before getting on the elevator read more

poor/rude customer service. take your money even after you have moved out. Facility is not managed properly. the 4 months we were the doors to enter didn't work properly and they had to prop a single fire exit door open. not easy to get large items thru a single door when you should have double doors at the least. Would never recommend read more

Great location and helpful people! Clean storage and a newer facility and easy to access. Lots of cameras so you feel safe too. I recommend using this location. read more

This business and any public storage will increase your initial contract within six months. The contract you sign believing your budgeting for the period of that contract is false and misleading. Paid for a 5x5 73.030 and in 4 months increased 96.60 and can be increased again. Now the day of my payment is due will still be billed even if I take out my belongings on the day of payment when it's for the future month not past month as they so tried to convince me. I will never use public storage again. A lot of others to choose from if need be. Getting real tired of big business taking advantage of the regular guy or gal trying to get by. Needlessly to say I am getting up early to take what I have out of storage and not paying them another dime of my hard earned money. read more

I read this post after looking to do a review: I don't like, however, that once you are in a unit they constantly raise the rates. I have 2 units and they both have gone up by almost 20% since move-in less than 9 months ago. They obviously know once you have your stuff moved in you will most likely just deal with the rate increases instead of moving. My review: Mary Ann was very nice but only so much she could do. But I will agree with the post from the other review and after seeing the date, it appears they don't care to change. So I will avoid them in the future as well. We had to do a quick move rent has gone up over 20% -30% in less than 5 months Looking at some of these reviews and the time frame 2017/2018 Public Storage you need to do better this is 2021 read more

Avoid using Public Storage at all costs. They routinely increase your rent 20-30% every 6 months. They know once you are in you won't want/be able to move. read more

This is my first time using a storage unit and I feel my things will be safe and secured. Marianne was such a great help and the process of signing up was easy. Thanks again! read more

I got a $100 rent increase 5 months after renting my unit (50% increase). THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! Moving out as soon as I am able.

Was driving all over Orlando to find the right size unit that was sold out everywhere. Finally got to this location, and Linda was super helpful and kind! was having a long day but Linda made the rental process super quick and easy. She was able to accommodate me very easily, recommend strongly. read more

The property is good, climate and access controls have not been an issue during any of my visits. The elevators are fairly big, and carts are provided to assist with loading and unloading units. I don't like, however, that once you are in a unit they constantly raise the rates. I have 2 units and they have both gone up by almost 20% since move-in less than 9 months ago. They obviously know once you have your stuff moved in you will most likely just deal with the rate increases instead of moving. I personally think this is bad business, and will be moving out fairly soon (due to a lack of need for storage), but will probably avoid Public Storage in the future for any long-term storage needs unless there is some kind of guaranteed pricing. read more

I just rented a unit at this location and Maryann helped me figure out just the right size for the items I needed to store. She is very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service! read more

I traveled from California to Orlando to this Public Storage to clear everything out. I was on a set timeline so every day counted! After getting everything out except a queen size bed which I could not leave for disposal due to a very high disposal fee. Selena Regal a Public Storage employee went above and beyond in helping me get assistance to remove and load up the heavy bed. She let me know that I could take my time as I rented a truck to drive over there. That particular day I was by myself. She said that If it came down to it she would help me. She eventually had her husband help me and he did so kindly and efficiently.:) He was prepared for my arrival and Selena gave me a pair of gloves so that my hands would be protected...she was so very thoughtful and condiderate of my situation. Her husband even packed up the truck so that nothing would move and gave me directions to where I was donating the bed that would be the safest route. I made my flight with peace of mind...now that great customer service! Thank you, Adrian read more

This is my first experience renting space. Things so far have been fine, Maryann was very helpful.

Vi was very sweet and helpful and walked us through everything we even got a great deal so Thankyou for your time vi

Can't go wrong with public storage, great properties and well maintained. No bs move in move out. Great service and great management.

Worst customer service. Extremely rude unprofessional harassing employees. There is no peace of mind having a storage unit especially in this location. My lock on my unit keeps going missing, and my unit has been finally broken into and it is completely empty thanks to the lack of security and minimum wage employees of this facility. Let's this be a warning to you all!! Oh and there insurance the sell you does not protect you when you have your unit broken into and all your belonging stolen. I truly suspect the under educated employees of this faculty had something to do with it. Management never returns phones and is always out of the office. read more

Do not rent here . I reserved a unit 2 weeks out and received 2 calls from someone from public storage and emails but on the day i was to move in they tell me there is not a unit for me. i have a car full of stuff and nowhere to store it. thankfully i got a unit at a different storage company that day. The general manager didn't even return a call about this issue . will never use public storage again read more

Good property, but the customer services is horrible. Please make sure that the never are going to explain to the customer that the have an agreement that they can raise the rates when ever they want. I started with them 6 month ago and and I have to pay 36 dollar more because they want to do it and that is not fair. I personally think this is horrible business. read more

This is by far the worst experience with a business I have ever had. My mom had just recently passed away and I moved much of her stuff into this facility. The online deal was supposed to cost me around $150. When I got there it turned out to be $179 + an insurance fee they say is mandatory (not described online or on phone before you get there). That tacks on another $15 or so. Then there is a one-time administrative fee or something like that. After all this I get a call after the first month saying that I have to pay an additional $30 late fee for not paying the pro-rated portion of the next month before the month was over (I'm guessing because they like to bill at the first of the month instead of someone's move-in date to make it easier on them or to catch people off-guard to charge them a fee). I figured I could pay that at the beginning of the month. This was never made clear by the person who moved me in. When I asked them to waive this fee since it wasn't made clear, they gave me this robotic "we can't waive late fees." I even spoke to the District Mgr Dianne, which acts all calm and understanding (which is an act because she knows she is not going to help me for even a meager $30). I asked her "am I wasting my time explaining my circumstances? Are you potentially going to help me in any way with late fees?" To which she says "No fees will be waived for any reason with this company." Now I had to pay about an additional $200 because of that $30 late fee accruing some penalties and another late fee for the new month's fees that I explained I tried to pay before the month it was due and the online site wouldn't let me in. I had talked to an agent at the location at the beginning of the month to explain this to avoid any late fees again and they said they would have the District Manager get back to me to settle all this. I told them I wanted to make this month's payment to avoid late fees and they said I can pay when I speak to the manager. I spoke to the manager today 8 days later after I was told I would hear from her since the beginning of the month. I think she waited this long to tack on more late fees. Because I called the store probably a dozen times after she didn't call and no one would pick up (during business hours). I left messages each time to call me back and got no response. I called the company's toll free number to let them know that I couldn't get in touch with anyone and got a threatening letter also saying that I was locked out of the unit because of this $30 charge and it was going to go into auction if I didn't pay $like $379 dollars or so, when my amount to be paid should have been around $179 and $30 late fee (since they weren't going to help with that). I had another issue with the Sanford store that promised years ago to make sure I was checked out properly before the next billing cycle and wasn't and this pulled up when I went to check on this unit. The woman there saw that I checked out on the proper date. I told her I was given a temporary gate code for the evening before the next billing cycle would take place and somehow she forgot to put it in the system to close out my account. Yet records show that was the last time I was in the unit. These people are worse than those gym memberships you couldn't get out of years ago. They find more ways to charge you than a profiteering bank. AVOID this company! read more
