Nonetheless, given that this was a huge job done in the most awful weather imaginable, I have decided to continue to be happy with the result. However, I would encourage them to improve customer relations if they can. It's always the last thing out the door that the customer remembers.

Fast forward to the day before they were scheduled to come out and actually do the job, and I still had no quote to remove the plywood despite having followed up a couple of days prior via phone asking about the quote. Tom was prompt in visiting the property to evaluate the condition of the roofs (2) and always timely and professional in communication. After he visited the property we exchanged a couple emails to finalize the statement of work. Twin Metals price was slightly higher than other roofing companies, however, it was Tom's professionalism and timely communication that won my business. Tom and his team were onsite within a couple weeks to start work. I was onsite during the first roof replacement (day 1) and the team ensured safety around the building, was efficient, friendly and responsible (protecting neighboring properties from falling debris). After day 2, I arrived to check on the state of the 2nd roof and the condition/cleanliness of the property. At first the price seemed high for one medium size pine tree (over $2k) but then he said he was willing to discount me if I added an additional tree, regardless of the size. He said he wanted to be "fair and honest to local members of the community" and said he would come within days since they were down the street doing another job. Instead of days...he came within 24 hours and communicated extremely well to make sure I was updated and aware of the time and price it would be done for. They were in and out within hours of cutting down two trees (minus picking up the massive logs which was the next day). They did a great job overall...cleaned up after which barely left a trace. They didn't destroy much of my yard either which was impossible considering the size of the trees they cut. I can't say anything negative except if you are only looking to get one tree cut, it might be higher than cutting multiple due to equipment travel and cost to get many of their guys out.
