Location is great…read more However it fills quickly, and it seems you're out of luck if you enter and can't locate any parking. Ended up driving around for 20minutes with literally 0 open spots (and no one leaving). Other cars were circling, doing the same as me. Ended up deciding to leave, and was told that surely, there must be spots on B4. So I went back down to B4 (had already checked), and of course, no spots. Went back up and was told I had to keep looking (not sure it makes sense to keep staring at full parking spots all day), or pay as if I had parked. There needs to be a better system to alert the attendant that the lot is full, and you should definitely not have to pay for entering a completely full lot, and not parking at all...

Certainly fits vehicles that are under 6'6. Had a 2025 F150 that fit and saw multiple large SUV and pickups in the garage although turning is a tight squeeze. They have multiple levels and can fill up really quick. They can double park you, assisted valet, where you leave the keys with the Valets if you are behind another vehicle. Its a bit confusing exiting the garage on foot, we were parked near an exit though so not to bad. You take and elevator up to the top floor and have to walk past an information desk and then security to exit and upon reentry have to go through a somewhat TSA like security to get back into the elevator to the garage. Parking prices weren't so bad compared to hotel parking costs. Stayed parked about 6 hrs and paid $26. You also pay on the way out.

I think what happens is that I mindlessly walk through here as I use it as a passageway. I need to start paying attention to what is in here and keep note of it. Basically this is a mall. Like every mall just about everywhere, they are without some businesses. But, I will say this about the DMV area, even with some shops being empty, the malls still know how to draw people in. Even if it is just for the food options. This place has a ton of food options and some of the places in here are the only place in DC to find them, or at least a place where it is fairly easy to get to in order to visit the business. They got the run of the chains you would see in almost any food court. Charleys, Five Guys, Jamba Juice, Moe's, Panda Express, Starbucks, Subway, etc. But there are a lot of mom and pop stands mixed in. You can definitely find something for your lunch or a quick snack. This is one of the only places I have seen a Church's Chicken in the city. It can be a maze walking through here, especially if you arrive via Metro. But like I said, it is a great passageway to get yourself to areas without having to be outside. With the Spy Museum on the one end it's a great place to spend a day in the city. The Wharf not too far either. There are a few shops throughout as well. Mostly open during daylight hours if you need to grab a thing or two. Everything from a post office to a convenience type store. If you are lucky enough to work nearby, I am sure this is busy around the lunchtime hour.

If you're staying at the Hilton, there's a direct connection to it from the hotel. So this place is helpful because it has several fast food options. Nothing to rave about, but when you're traveling access to quick, fast food is important. Many food places either seemed always closed when I went a few times or open at inconsistent times. The place also never seems busy. Kinda ghost town-ish. Panda Express seemed to be the main attraction here. All together tho, it was clean. I think the space has potential to be a more useful shopping space for people.

We were told there were no stairs. What?? We waited for about 45 min to get on the elevator. Once in our car, we were in a gridlock getting out. That took an hour and 15 min! By the time we exited, we had to pay extra because we went over the time limit due to no fault of our own. Never again will any of us use Parking.com. Lesson learned.

$10 parking on weekends!…read more Ten dollar rate all day on weekends except hubby did not know this until we were already in DC. He tried to be prepared driving in town by pre-purchasing the parking ticket on-line ahead of time and paid almost twice that $10. This was a Sunday. Oh well, live and learn. It was confusing trying to locate this parking garage, especially for first-timers in the capital city, the parking lot was hidden underground and we were looking for a garage. From 12th Street SW you enter Maryland Ave which leads to a roundabout circle and after almost making the full circle of the roundabout before exiting back onto 12th Street immediately to our right is the driveway down inside to the underground parking lot. We circled Maryland Avenue twice and before making that third circle hubby finally decided to ask a bellhop at the nearby luxury hotel, Mandarin Oriental. I sometimes don't understand why men can't admit they're lost and just ask for directions. LoL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There was also a whole slew of taxi drivers parked in a row by the hoity-toity hotel. This public parking is located near the National Mall closest to the U.S. Department of Agriculture building as well as the Wharf by the Potomac River. Convenient location. Review #1193
