A friend that has been going to this salon for years recommended me to come in after I mentioned that I was tired of my hair and needed a change. For the past 2 years I was just going to basic salons and getting trims and wanted to spice things up. I was recommended to Tiffany. I came in that day and showed her 1-2 Pintrest photos with the simple request of "somewhere in the middle, just please make me look human again!" and she did just that. I stated I wasn't afraid to go light quickly and that I wanted a blunt cut. She not only did this exactly like I asked but explained every detail and reason she was doing what she was doing but still remained personal enough that I felt comfortable sitting in a chair for a few hours. She also educated me on how to maintain and keep my hair looking great. I walked out of the salon feeling the best I have in MONTHS! I have gotten non-stop compliments. Faith owner unable to cut hair even left me with all long uneven hanging pieces on the sides and uneven in back. I had to call once I got home looked in the mirror and began to cry, I called, went in the next day excuse after excuse on how hard it is to cut a bob, I asked her for just a correction to be bearable while it grow, yes a licensed hair cutter said it was hard a cut A bob. shes not capable? Should of told me before attempting my cut she can't do it. I would have left. They are a full service salon so they do offer everything from hair services, to skin care, waxing, and makeup. They also offer a variety of products and the girls all seem knowledgable. Only had my makeup done here. Cost about $55 for just make up and some fake one time use lashes. The make up was just ok. They gave me way too much on the eye shadow and totally forgot to put eyeliner on. I asked for eyeliner and for more glittery eye shadow. Didn't quite turn out what I wanted. Ended up wiping off some of the eye shadow that went to my brow line and added my own shadow on top. Also used my own eyeliner to make it thicker. They did mix me a color for the lip stain, which was nice. The concealer part of it was fine, although I don't have much to conceal other than just some freckles. I think this place might be better for hair. read more

Daniela always listens to what I want and I get compliments on my cuts and color all the time. Also the prices are very reasonable for the area. I have been getting my hair cut, colored, and highlighted with Ariana for over 5 years, and I couldn't ever think of going to anyone else! Ariana and the other stylists are very passionate in their craft. They are all professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. The salon is immaculate! It is very stylish and well kept. The receptionists are super kind, and knowledgeable, and they make is a priority to ensure that you are greeted upon entrance, etc! Found this salon by chance. Great professional staff with cutting edge haircuts and color. Would highly recommend. I went back to Public Image on Sunday 1/14/18. It is so convenient to have a salon open on a Sunday. This was another great experience. The staff is experienced, courteous and very professional. My color came out beautiful. I went here with some of the other bridesmaids and my mom to have our hair done for my sister's wedding. Upon arriving, three of us were started right away. My sister (other sister, not the bride) and my mom waited a bit before my sister was taken over to a chair. After my hair was finished, I learned that my mom had been told there was no one to do her hair because the girl she was booked with never looked at the schedule to see she had another appointment (my mom) was added for that morning and therefore was late and had no time for her. The girl at the desk was very rude to her and told her there was nothing she could do, it wasn't her fault, and no one was able to do anything for her. Seriously? Worried that she was going to leave with nothing done to her VERY short hair, she started crying and was very upset. At this point, I went to the desk and asked if there was ANYTHING at all that could be done for her because if not she would be showing up at her daughter's wedding with her hair not done. FINALLY they attempted to do something for her and got a "tech" to start curling her hair until the other stylist took over. Then she was expected to pay the astronomical price of $78 for styling of hair slightly longer than a pixie. I'm totally fine with that price for my long hair, or the MOHs very thick hair that got a full updo... But at baseline, that's too much for hair so short. Not to mention everything that happened and the terrible service. I asked the other, nicer (brunette) receptionist to make it right and comp the 'do but the best the owner could do is 50% off. I'm not one to ask for things like this, but if your company messes up and is 100% at fault, does nothing to try and make it right until there are tears, at least be decent enough to eat the cost and learn from your mistake. Wedding or not, I would never patronize this establishment ever again for the way they handled things with my mom. Customer service is clearly not important to them at all. read more

Arriving at the guest services desk to check-in for my color and cut, the receptionist looked puzzled and said she couldn't find my card. The reasons she couldn't find it is that I hadn't had my hair styled yet. She said it looked so good she thought I was leaving. Actually, let had been 6 weeks since my last cut! But that's what happens when Linda P. styles your hair - it really lasts and always looks good. As well, she makes it easy to follow the cut on my own. Missy colored my hair with the precision of one painting a picture and was so solicitous of my needs. After my cut Linda sat next to me and chatted a few minutes. It's like a hair day with family - from the warm welcome at the guest desk to the color room to styling. I can recommend this salon with no reservation. read more

Ariana is a genius. She can literally seem to take an image of what I want my hair to look like from my head and make it appear. I'm nuts with letting my hair grow and she always trims just enough, but where I won't notice much of a difference afterwards. I always get compliments on my color (ombré) and cuts, and wouldn't recommend people go anywhere other than her. {NEW} I'm updating to 5-stars. I previously posted 4, because I thought the girl at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. I'm happy to say that at my last visit, the front desk ladies were very kind and helpful! This is my favorite place: Sara gives the best cuts and highlights, is so sweet, and really knows her stuff. I only get my lip and brows waxed by Ali- they're always perfect. She's also unbelievable with makeup. She did my makeup for my wedding and baby shower. She's so sweet as well. The salon is always very clean and the women at the front desk (especially Michelle) are great. I've tried going other places after my previous stylist had left, but no where really compared to Public Image LTD. The customer service is the best. All in all, I highly recommend Sara for any hair needs (and I've already had friends see her!). Try it out, you won't be disappointed. And the price is wellllllll worth it!! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I want to preface this review by saying this is not a reflection of my stylist, Marlinda, who is lovely & talented, but unfortunately the front desk & overall management of this establishment. From my first visit to this salon the front desk attendant acted rude and as if I was inconveniencing her. But my most recent visit really sent me over the edge. I booked in advance and was quoted one price. After my services were complete I was quoted an ENTIRELY different cost-which was because of not only the length of my hair, but because of the fact that I prebooked. It was then explained to me that if you book in advance the cost raises, as opposed to a walk in client. OK lets stop for a second and process this-in what world does that logic make sense??? Again, I was treated as an inconvenience and that I was crazy. If there was a stark contrast in booking costs why was this not explained to me after my first visit? Again the front desk was short with me and maintained the overall mentality of "it is what it is". I am all about paying for services that warrant the cost, but this backwards logic, and overall bad attitude has me RUNNING from this place. Which is a shame because again, my stylist was lovely. In preparation, I had a great trial with Sara who helped me in nailing down a style and offering great tips and suggestions. The day of, she and Alicia were on time and extremely professional. My hair looked incredible and held the entire night. My bridesmaids were equally as happy and I was so impressed that they were able to recreate all of the unique Pinterest inspired styles the girls brought along. I have been going to Jen for 8 years now and I love her. She and Ariana are the only 2 people I will go to for my hair. They always give a consult before - ask what I have in mind, give their suggestions, etc. I have a pretty low maintenance hair routine and Jen and Ariana always do a great job in cutting my hair so it looks good without needing too much styling. I also always get compliments on my highlights (ombre). These two are geniuses in everything from cuts to highlights to special event styles. This place lost one star because of the high prices (but you get what you pay for) and the sometimes rude service from the front desk. But overall, would highly recommend to someone looking for a good quality hair treatment and a personal experience with a stylist. read more

i had one of my worst experiences at this salon. I went in looking for balayage highlights. The colorist left me under the lamps with the bleach in too long where i came out screaming because my scalp was on fire. i have never felt pain like that, went to the doctor to find out i had blistering from them burning my scalp, if that was enough my hair was so damaged it literally all broke off. Went back to the salon and they offered to just deep condition which did absolutely nothing for the damage and hair loss this caused and also refused to refund me. My hair is still extremely damaged to this day and falls out on the daily. No other stylist would attempt to touch it because of the damage done. do not go here!!! read more

I got a single process done on my hair in hopes of covering up my balyage that had grown out after my pregnancy . All I really wanted to do was boost up my self esteem a little after 9 months of a rough pregnancy . I asked the hairstylist multiple times if the process would result in me having a head of just one color and two hair stylist assured me that it would make my full head one color and fade or grow out after a couple of months. I was fine with that since I was planning on following up in a couple months anyway. That same day I went home and saw that my previous highlights were still visible . The problem is that it was visible only on my half my head. I looked terrible . I called spoke to the manager who said it's NORMAL to get a full single process and your head not be one full color. She was not very nice or empathetic. She told me sometimes people do a single process color and need to cover up again with another process the same day. I can't seem to understand that. Regardless she told me to come in to take a look but very rudely. I would have to find a babysitter just to go back and see if she would consider fixing my hair again. I decided it's not worth spending money for a babysitter again & risking the job not getting rectified. Why would anyone pay for a single process color if you leave the salon with two different colored hair? Makes no sense and I def didn't get the look I wanted . Also my hair is so dry rough and thick. It seems damaged. Will go elsewhere where I know they will fix it! There's way too many options around read more

One of the best salons I have ever been too! Just perfect! I had gotten my prom hair and makeup done there, and they did an absolutely amazing job!! Makeup artist was super nice and sweet as well as the lady who did my hair. None of that awkward talk between customers and hair dresser, they are genuine. Would definitely go again, so I'll definitely be using them as my go-to for my next prom and any hair needs I have!
