I went to OPPT University Location for a case of tendonitis in my left elbow. This is commonly…read morereferred to as "Tennis Elbow" but I don't play tennis, I play guitar. When I first went to OPPT, I could not play my instrument for 5 minutes without pain in my left arm and elbow. My therapist told me this would not be a quick fix, and she was right. However, several months later, I can now play for two hours a day or more without pain or discomfort, so I am more than satisfied with this outcome. I worked mostly with Emily and occasionally with Paul, but really, from what I could see, all the therapists there were experienced and competent. But what impressed me the most (besides the skill of the staff) was what I guess what you would call the ambience of the place. Everyone was so positive and upbeat, people were talking to each other, the atmosphere was so pleasant. i actually looked forward to going there every week.

I want to start off by saying that the Physical Therapists are good, I never had any issues with…read morethem. My issue is the miserable person at the front desk, Ashley. She was blatantly rude from the first time I CALLED to make my appointments. I've only seen her be nice to men coming in the office by flirting with them. Every time I scheduled an appointment with her or had to talk to her for whatever reason she always had an attitude and gave off the worst energy. She tries to give you the fake nice on the phone when she answers, and then when she realizes your a woman she treats you like garbage. My other issue is also with her not submitting the physical therapy claims correctly. I have done physical therapy somewhere else (had to leave because I moved) and was never charged because my insurance completely covers PT especially after I already met my deductible. Not only can Ashley not do her job correctly but she's rude, always has an attitude, and just has nasty energy. I had 3 surgeries over the last year, and multiple procedures- the last thing someone wants to deal with when they are just trying to get healthy and improve their physical state is someone like Ashley.

She answers all of my questions, makes sure my appointments are scheduled in advance, has extensive knowledge about my insurance, and makes sure I am comfortable before and after my appointment. Even if I don't arrive with a smile, I always leave with one. And if Shelby is this awesome, imagine how wonderful the therapists are that treat your aches and pains. I always feel like I am getting the best care by Conor, Emily, and Chaz who truly care about my comfort and rehabilitation. Beware of doctors who try and set you up with their own PT's. She sees different people and each one makes her feel a little better than the last. Has it been easy? NO, but it has always been progressive. The staff knows when to push and knows when to ease up. The communication between my daughter and the trainers are top notch. The staff also sends her with homework to do. Very nice so she can continue making progress. I am very happy they are making my daughter feel better and she is gaining use of her body now because of their work.

I have nothing but great things to say about BAIR! The staff is wonderful and Nurse Practitioner Faber is outstanding. The physical therapists are knowledgeable and take the necessary time to help you work through your pain and getting better. The receptionists are so attentive that they learn the patients names and don't even have to ask your name when signing in. I was so impressed with this! After my first visit they would greet me and grab my file each time they'd see me walk in and not even wait for me to give them my name. I went through STEM treatments and massage therapy as well as stretching exercises with the therapists 2-3 times a week. Dr. Faber is also very thorough--checks your stretch abilities and pain points each visit with him. He knows your file and doesn't have to refer to it when seeing you. He's concerned about the patient rather than treating you like a number. The massage therapists are good. Chris was the best but she's no longer there and what a loss that is!
