History
Established in 2015.
After 18 years of experience as an ASHA certified speech language pathologist, Aleisha VanAmburg realized her dream of opening her own private practice focused on family centered speech therapy and early intervention.
Meet the Business Owner: Aleisha V.
Aleisha has been passionate about helping families and children throughout her entire career. She has a diverse background starting her career at United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay, moving into the public school system, then into growing a large private practice. Prior to opening Family First Therapy, Aleisha decided to make a career change and become a clinical instructor at the University of South Florida where she had the opportunity to further her skills being surrounded by mentors on a day to day basis. She shared her own wealth of knowledge of speech and language therapy with graduate students. After three years at the University, Aleisha was inspired to open her own practice with a clear vision of growing a team of professionals who possessed similar passions of working with children and families.
