I had been nothing but compliant (in my opinion and the opinion of the person with me who was a witness to every call) and I was laughed at by one, Charlotte, while she stated it. I payed $120 for a single phone call for an evaluation from Rebecca, and that was prior to even being evaluated. I've been told to partake in things that have nothing to do with my case, which causes more confusion for me and will be assessed with my attorney. With that being said, it's also impossible to find information about Choice Counseling online.

I was assigned to him because of the pain that came from my back, linked to my "sciatica". The first 3 visits were fine. I was assigned certain stretches which I continued to do. He continued to tell me I was likely having issues with my sciatica nerve. After about 5 visits my pain wasn't getting better. He continued to stretch out the area of my spine that he thought the pain was coming from. I told him by my 6th visit that I was in a lot of pain. He didn't do anything about it or even offer anything to resolve the pain (massage therapy, other stretches, etc.). This was disappointing since I was already spending so much time and money. During my last 2 visits, we didn't do anything, I complained about my pain and he said there was nothing he could do. He referred me to one of the doctors so I could get an x-ray or an MRI. I ended up going to a different dr because I had a horrible experience here. My new doctor told me I had NO SCIATICA issues, instead it was mild arthritis. I was referred to another PT who has been doing an amazing job at identifying and resolving the pain. Please beware of the people who work at Resurgens-yes, the name is widely known but some of the staff are not as knowledgeable or helpful. Now let's talk about accessing my documents and paperwork-I had to go through circles to get all my paperwork from the PT clinic. I was sent in circles to a third party company they used (my MRI disks didn't even work!!!).

He left, was gone a bit, came back and handed me a packet of printed out exercises. I expected that he would go through them with me but instead said he would see me in a week. After looking over the printouts, I asked about one of the stretches which uses a roller and asked if he could show me how to do this one. He searched the clinic for a roller, said it had been a while since he used one, awkwardly demonstrated it, and that was it. I thought he would at least go through every one of the five exercises he gave me but he did not. I was there a total of 26 minutes from the time I walked through the doors until I left. I have since found another PT at a different clinic who has made a world of difference on how I feel. This new PT spent my first visit evaluating my condition, massaging my pain areas, having me do several stretches and sent me home with 1 simple stretch to do twice a day. I am now up to 17 minutes of stretching twice a day and go to him two times a week. Physical Therapy should be just that. Therapeutic. I do not mind going twice a week because I feel so good now. I do not recommend Resurgens for PT.

I was only taken back to an exam room when I asked about the delay. Once in the exam room I proceeded to wait an additional 30+ minutes before stepping into the hallway to inform the staff I would be leaving without seeing the physician. Dr P was standing right beside me and never apologized for his tardiness not made an effort to correct the issue. The staff happily handed me a charge sheet and let me walk out. I guess they have too many patients to worry about anyones time but their own. I would not reschedule and will not recommend to anyone. Respect for your patient is an important part of the process that seems to be lacking at this office.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but Julie Apel exceeded all of my expectations by a mile. Beyond the convenience of not having to drive anywhere, our therapist (who has an amazing contact with our 3-year old) brings educational materials and toys with her and varies them in a progressive fashion so that my daughter is always excited in advance to see her and work/play together. She also created a personal binder for our girl with materials we can work on together in between sessions to practice what she learned. We have seen real progress in our daughter's speech within the first 2 weeks, which is hugely reassuring, motivating and exciting. They are on the higher price end but for me it was absolutely worth it for the quality of work and not having to deal with traffic myself. Really very happy to have switched and given Sage a try and can only highly recommend our therapist.

Our bill arrived from Wellstar Health System, categorized as "Hospital Services" and billed at hospital facility rates. At no point before, during, or after our visit did anyone meaningfully disclose that this location bills as a hospital outpatient department. Here is what they billed for an initial evaluation visit for a 14-year-old child with a sore back: - PT Evaluation, Low Complexity, 20 min (CPT 97161): $325 - Manual Therapy, 15 min (CPT 97140): $250 - Neuromuscular Reeducation, 2 units (CPT 97112): $452 Total billed: $1,027. For one visit. After the insurance "adjustment," the negotiated rate came to $509. Because we have a high-deductible plan, we owe all of it. To be clear: our insurance paid zero dollars. $509 is the actual price this clinic charges for a single PT evaluation. Independent PT practices in this area typically charge $150-250 for the same visit. Cash-pay evaluations run $100-150. As for the care: they cancelled our follow-up appointment the day of, never rescheduled, and never contacted us again, aside from the incessant automated texts asking us to leave them a review. The next communication about our actual care was this bill. Before you book here, ask one question: "Will this visit be billed under a hospital's tax ID as hospital outpatient services, and is there a facility fee?" We didn't know to ask. It will cost us triple.
