Holly is BY FAR the best pediatric speech therapist in the North Dallas, Plano, Frisco area. My son…read morewho has a language receptive disorder has improved immensely with Holly's help. Smalltalk Speech Therapy is a game changer!! Last year, I sought out help for my 10 year old…read moredaughter that had been in speech therapy through the schools for 8+ years with some improvement and then some plateaus. I had one speech therapist (not at this clinic) tell me that my daughter had reached her potential with speech therapy services (which was devastating given she still had a significant lisp). I was referred to Smalltalk last May (2018) and from the first conversation with Holly Willis, I knew they were in it for the service of the child and this clinic was tremendously skilled. Holly listened to my concerns, sympathized with me and showed a genuine interest in what she could offer us in the form of therapy - it felt like she REALLY cared, not just business or trying to fit her into the schedule for the revenue. Holly really does care profoundly about every child she works with!! Holly paired my daughter with Trish because she felt it would be a good personality fit. Oh my goodness, was she so RIGHT!!!! Ms. Trish worked with my daughter consistently this past year starting at the very basic level and they clicked right from the start. Ms. Trish had to be very upfront with her sometime when she felt things were not progressing and she quickly got her back on track (this is HUGE, given working with a pre-teen is more challenging than when they are really little). My daughter made TREMENDOUS progress and I can honestly say that my daughter FINALLY does not have an articulation disorder!!!! EIGHT years of therapy and only ONE year with Ms. Trish and BOOM--- tremendous breakthrough and effective remediation! Why didn't I know about her earlier????!!!!! Ms. Trish was always available to assist with extra support via texts and have my daughter send her videos of her reading her homework assignment providing feedback right away. She changed things up as needed and was very flexible with our schedule. Trish showed a genuine interest and tender care of her both social/emotionally as well as helping her along the way gain the necessary skills to self-correct on her own and articulate with great confidence! The time and effort Trish spent with my daughter is priceless, she would do it in a heartbeat for yours too!! My daughter not only gained the confidence, support and lifelong skills, but she gained a friend and mentor. I have seen the profound difference Ms. Trish, Ms. Holly and all the practitioners at this clinic make every single day and I cannot thank them enough for the doors and opportunities they have opened up to my daughter!!

I have to say I find the first review of this daycare to be "sketchy" for a few reasons…read more 1. I too dropped in without an appointment to tour the facility. Based on the prior review it sounds like she was just walking around peeking in windows. This is impossible at this facility. In fact at the daycare entrance you cant even get in from outside. I know because I first went to that entrance and was directed to the front for check in, which included taking my ID, creating a visitor tag based on my ID photo and waiting in the lobby until someone met me and guided me through the entire facility. 2. Since you are paired with a guide, if there was a question on what was happening in one of the classrooms, why didn't she inquire? Perhaps what she was seeing part of a child's physical therapy she just didn't understand but ask rather than leave a bad review. All of the observations seemed to be based on an interpretation that may have been easily explained if asked. Based on my tour the facility is very cheerful and thoughtfully designed. The hallways are classrooms, and therapy facilities are clean and well organized. Teachers all engaged with low teacher to student ratios. The center has different rooms based on the child's needs and development stage. Overall a beautiful environment focused on child development.

We are so grateful for the Monkey Mouths team! My children have been going for 2-3 years now for…read morespeech therapy and have drastically improved. Everyone is so patient and understanding. Also, it's just amazing to see the other kiddos and parents we have met improve as well. A great place with an exceptional staff. I highly recommend. Please note that every child is different, and sometimes certain facilities may not be the best fit. But, it doesn't hurt to try. If you give them a chance, you won't be disappointed. If you are, they are willing to adjust your treatment plan and work with you.

PARENTS BEWARE!!!! If you have a child who struggles with either sensory/motor skills/speech then…read moreyou likely are seeking support services at an establishment where their best interest is held in high regard. This is not that place. They have zero concern for your child's best interest and will falsely claim they are trying to serve patients when their entire goal is to collect claims and payment. Shady. NO ETHICS!!! Steer clear!! Do not expect to start service here and actually have it benefit your child in the long run. They want your money (or your ins) and nothing else. I can't believe these people think they're benefiting children with disabilities in any way. Backstory: I have two kids, one is 4 and needs OT for sensory processing struggles and my youngest is 2 who just started in preschool over the summer (I'm trying to avoid enrolling during cold and flu season). As any normal 2yr old does - my son starts school and brings home every imaginable virus on the planet and we battle it out for two months. Mind you, we have called Monkey Mouths EVERY SINGLE TIME we were sick and let them know what's going on. This place has the nerve to bring us in for a session and then abruptly say (as we are walking out the door) "by the way you are dismissed and we will not be seeing you again". WHAT?!?! First of all, you couldn't call and tell us this so we could discuss over the phone? You wanted to collect another claim. SO - Instead you have the nerve to say this in front of my child who is just becoming comfortable and familiar with the environment (autism). Then you have the nerve to say "if he's immuno-compromisd then look into at home services" he's not!!!! We have a kid who started school and it's the parents who keep getting sick and we don't want to come in with pink eye and a fever and infect YOU! We should bring him in when everyone is sick because if not then you don't get to collect your insurance claims?! They then had the nerve to say it was "unfortunate timing" that my youngest started in preschool. When is it ever a good time?! The person at the front desk is manipulative and won't tell you the truth about any of their poor business practices. You guys do a huge disservice to children with disabilities and should be ashamed. I hope these words keep you up at night.

I would never recommend Walk Ez Talk Ez to any parent seeking real, quality therapy for their…read morechild. I drive an hour each way to bring my son here, only to have his time wasted by inexperienced therapists who clearly lack proper training and hands-on experience. My first complaint was completely ignored by both Rebecca, the owner, and Doreen, the scheduling coordinator. When I brought up my concerns again, instead of listening, Rebecca threw my son out of her clinic, talked over me, and denied everything I'd seen firsthand. His father has also complained twice about the same issues, but Rebecca refuses to take any accountability and chooses instead to argue with parents and act as if we are the problem. Do not fall for the nice and friendly introduction they give during the first visit. It's nothing but a sales tactic to get you in the door and bill your insurance or take your money. Once you start noticing issues and try to speak up, their entire attitude changes. This is not a speech pathologist who cares about the children, but one who clearly only sees them as a way to make more money for her clinic. I was told this was one of the best clinics, but after everything I've experienced and witnessed, it's far from it. I have emails and texts as proof for anyone who doubts it. Parents -- do yourselves a favor and take your children somewhere that genuinely cares, listens to your concerns, and treats families with respect. Don't make the same mistake I did -- avoid this place at all costs.

WalkEZ TalkEZ is a provider of speech-language, feeding, myofunctional and social group therapy servicing children of all ages in Frisco, Plano, Allen, Carrollton, Prosper, Little Elm, Richardson, and surrounding North Dallas cities. We provide a comprehensive evaluation for both structure and function of the mouth. We embrace the PROMPT philosophy for language while including sensory integration to help with regulation strategies to provide a holistic approach to therapy. You will see progress as your child begins to organize information, store it in memory and finally share that experience with peers and family members in a social environment. We collaborate with other therapeutic professionals such as occupational, physical and ABA providers. We also work with dentists and orthodontists for structural issues regarding airway and oromyofacial anomalies such as malocclusions, cleft lip, palate or tongue and buccal tethers. We believe that learning should be fun where success becomes intrinsically rewarding as communicative attempts performed by the child are granted as their requests become understood. Preschool to adolescents and young adults, we work toward independence by providing life skills training so that your youngster leads a fulfilling life. Please contact us for more information. We would love to hear from you.
