Colleen and the Redbird team quickly helped us create a new floor plan to maximize space in our primary bathroom, plus pull and replace designs for two more bathrooms. They got to know our personal style, created design concepts that we loved, connected us with a contractor, and helped us navigate supply chain issues. The result: bathrooms that are beautiful, functional, easy to clean, and within budget.

She has a great eye for design and color and is easy to talk to and personable-- this was especially important to me since I wanted to work with someone that I can "click" with. There are tons of design options out there and I can easily spend multiple days just trying to pick out a single piece of furniture, let alone trying to make it look good and work with an entire room, so Colleen's services are invaluable. I just let her and her team do the hard work of putting together color palettes, layouts and mood boards and I tweak little details to my liking if I want. My entire house now looks instagrammable (can't help but notice how good rooms look in the background when I take pictures of the kids around the house) and I'm enjoying its looks as well as function every single day thanks to Colleen and RedBird!

I did not have a lot of design experience so I wasn't sure what I was looking for exactly other than I wanted it to look nice! Lena went over many different designs / color schemes / lay outs until I found some that I felt suited my style. She picked out dozens of high-end quality pieces that I know will be well used for many years. She is extremely patient, thoughtful and above all has very good style and instincts for how to make a space really come alive. You can tell that she really loves her work and that she takes each project, no matter how small, very seriously. I could not have been happier with how the place turned out and I could not have asked for a better experience than with Lena! I would strongly recommend her :)

The quality of the sofa is superior, and we always receive compliments on how comfortable it is and how nice it looks with the rest of our living room. The blinds are great for privacy since we are able to have the bottom portion of our windows blocked with the light coming in at the top. We always receive compliments on how well put together our home looks. We found it very beneficial working with Lena, not only did we get the couch that worked great with our house, but also got it at a excellent price given her up to date knowledge of where/what is the best bang for your buck. I would recommend Lena and her services as interior designer to anyone who just moved into a new home or if you would like to refresh the look of your current home.

If you are looking to furnish an empty space, stop what you're doing and at least set up a call…read morewith the Splendid & Swanky team. For background, I have no interest in interior design and have no business spending real money on furniture I know nothing about. But I found myself in a situation where I had nothing for a space that had to be smartly utilized. And I wanted it to be beautiful. Was this really the time to experiment with Pinterest while spending thousands of dollars? & I needed the furniture to last long enough that I wouldn't have to think about this again for a very, very long time. I also needed to buy everything during a pandemic, when everything was delayed... So I turned to an option I never had considered before - hiring interior designers. I had heard great things about this team and wanted to explore sourcing this huge project out to them. It's a pretty simple process. You go to their website and fill out an intake form that introduces yourself and the project. Then they'll sell up a virtual call to meet and discuss your style, and budget. Then they came and looked at the space, took measurements. Then they pitched a proposal. From there you have to make some decisions. They are going to present you with options that may be outside of your budget. This is where we gotta grow up a little and recognize that if you want nice things, this is how much that actually cost. I was happy to increase my original proposed budget to get what I needed. But there were some peices that I wanted to spend less on and they quickly came back with lower priced options. They were very adaptable there. With that, they placed the order! Over the course of the next few months, the furniture started arriving. They work with a contractor who you can hire (through them, they handle all the admin work) who can assemble, hang, etc do all that work for you. They even came over to make sure everything was hung in the right spots. There is a science and art to design that they are factoring into every decision for your space, and it's worth their fee to get all your nice new furniture all in the right place. They look for beauty and functionality in every detail of the space. So now I have this gorgeous dining room [photo provided]. Our guests are blown away whenever they walk even towards the space. It's exactly what I wanted when I described the target ambiance to the team. Beautiful, relaxed, warm, stylish. I can't tell you how happy I am with my experience with Splendid & Swanky and the confidence it brought me about my home. If you're able to, whenever you're able to, hire professionals to do things you can't do well. It'll always be worth it. Here is the proof.
