I signaled Tommie to get off on the next exit... meanwhile I kept my hand on my that throttle and used the clutch so that I could keep good speed and not have to stop until we found a safe location... we went to a McDonalds in Williamsport MD and I manage to get Odessa safely in a parking spot! I smiled and Tommie smiled back at me gave me a kiss and asked if I was alright... I said yes, I'm good but how are we gone make it to our grandchildren's game on time and who's gone fix my bike... this is when I whipped my cellphone out and contacted Rooster Cycles a family who we met that became FAMILY the day we met while coming from Bike Week in Ocean City... They came straight to me fixed my bike in the parking lot and we made the game on time!!! Big ups and THANKS to Rooster Cycles for showing up and taking care of me when in need!!! I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

I sent an inquiry via email and waited days without a response. I finally had to send a text inquiry to get a response. After being given a quote, I inquired if Twiggs still offered a military discount. I was then told because I am deployed overseas with the government, I cannot purchase a bike. No effort to work something out or offer suggestions on how to make it work. Just a flat no I can't purchase if "I" can't come by in person to handle the paperwork. Since I am deployed overseas I planned to pay cash and the government would come by, pick up the bike, and ship to my location. However since Twiggs has decided not to sell me a bike, I will take my money elsewhere. I will stop recommending Twiggs to everyone. Clearly they don't need my business.

I picked up a new piston and was having trouble replacing it myself. By luck I ran across his shop. Reached out and he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I brought the brake master cylinder into him, went to the store down the road, came back and it was fixed. He gave great suggestions for bleeding the cylinder and then the brake lines. These guys are all motorcycle mechanics, and they're all easy to talk too. It's the kind of shop where if they make a mistake they'd be the first to tell you and make things right.
