Years ago we had Marvin as our agent, we test drove two cars and he was so patient riding in the back seat with our kids car seats despite being cramped. He tried to help us buy a car but the deal didn't work out with the old management at the time and we ended up going to another dealership instead. We felt Marvin was a good agent so we reached out again when another car we wanted came up recently. He also remembered us after when he jogged his memory; he got the Saturday morning, rainy weather and two young kids. He is very professional, sincere and kind and I would highly recommend him asking for him on your next purchase. The dealership is very large and clean. They pride themselves on their Grandma policy (treat customers like your own grandma). Oddly, just water was offered and no coffee/beverages and snacks like other dealerships when they know you're buying/signing papers. The large dealership even has a mini cafeteria but didn't have time to check out the menu. We have 30 days covered with this car to bring back should something not be right. The price they post is pretty much the walkout price plus hst. I like this a lot as most places have a list of weird add ons that can range from dealer to dealership. Ie) Last place charged us $80 if we wanted a full tank of gas vs this one just filled the tank(grandma policy!)

The Salespeople are honest, and the Mechanics at "Principal Auto" are professionals in providing excellent service of the maintenance of your vehicle. The Sales Manager, Dusiy, who sold me my vehicle, was completely honest and helpful throughout the time of the purchase of my vehicle. Dusiy was completely honest with me about all the history of my vehicle before I had purchased it, and he had shown me all the legal documents that were related to it. Dusiy the Sales Manager was completely fair and honest about all the history and technical details about the vehicle I was planning to purchase from Principal Auto. I felt I was completely and honestly informed about all the history and details of my Honda Civic. Dusiy the Sales Manager offered me a reasonable price for the purchase of my vehicle. To be certain that I had received a completely fair price for my vehicle, Dusiy had installed new brake pads and rotors for all four tires, and he also installed four new tires and four new springs and forks for a new suspension system. Dusiy the Sales Manager installed all these important parts on to my Honda Civic that I had purchased without me even asking for anyone of these parts. He had his technical staff install all these new parts for free on to my Honda Civic so that he can be certain that I will receive the most affordable and best price possible for the purchase of my Honda Civic from "Principal Auto."     Good for car purchases, bad for car service…read more Summer 2024 I was looking for a 2024 RAV4 LE AWD, and since I live close to this dealership it was actually my first stop, but they had did not have any, actually to purchase a NEW RAV4 it would be a wait period of 6+ months. After going to all nearby car Toyota's it was the same. Thus I started looking for used RAV4s, but most were really old or had alot of mileage I ended up back here and the stars aligned for a single 2024 RAV4 being in stock, less than 10,000km btw which I was able to secure by immediately showing up and putting down a deposit. Apparently 9+ people had booked appointments to view it later that day but since I was first and was willing to pay the deposit/hold, it was mine! Within a few days after clearing things with the ownership, pink slips, insurance etc I paid the full amount and the nicely newly detailed car was mine! So as for the actual purchase, Markville did a great job. Here's where they get dinged for service. I specifically asked (purchase completed July 2024) if they had any deals for winter tires as in a few months I would need them. I was told, to just come back in a few months, find any set of tires and get a cost sheet, and Markville would match that price. Additionally, as this was a used car, there was a profile on Apple Carplay of the previous owner's iPhone setup. This is a huge issue for used Toyota owners - you cannot delete the previous user's profile and additionally you can't add/create your own profile until this is done. I saw online a very easy fix and even emailed it to the selling agent, basically only Toyota employees have access to their internal Toyota system where by inputting the VIN, they can remove the profile of the previous owner. I showed up in person, emailed, and called countless times over THREE MONTHS and no one at Markville Toyota would help with the Apple CarPlay previous owner profile situation. I couldn't even configure my new settings until this was done. This included not just the selling agent, but showing up at the front desk asking any agent for help, and the owner of Markville Toyota Jack Varisco emailing me after the purchase saying something along the lines of 'congrats on your car purchase. if you have any issues please let me know.' I even emailed him with the issue a few times and zero response. I also tried contacting the person who upsold me on additional bells/whistles, but no help there either. Then when October rolls around and I need new tires, and they're able to get more money in their pockets suddenly they can help with the carplay issue. Note - I specifically explained I was willing to buy 4 new winter tires but wouldn't spend a dime until the previous user profile was deleted. Suddenly, in less than 24 hours it was deleted. Then, as per instructed when I bought the car, I brought an invoice from a tire shop for 4 new winter tires. It as basically as follows: 4 new tires (exact brand and model as Markville toyota sold) 4 new rims (can't match as Toyota sells Toyota brand rims no other shop can sell) Installation (free if purchased from the tire shop). Despite advertisements that they price match winter tires, and the tire shop was willing to accept email and calls confirming their offer, Markville refused to price match. Fortunately, a nearby Toyota dealership was more than willing to pricematch the offer. With anyone who purchases winter tires, you know that between 50-100km after installation you should get the tires retorqued. The other Toyota dealership said I could go back to any Toyota and they'd retorque the tires for free. As Markville was the closest, I went here to get the tires retorqued (this is literally just tightening the lug nuts and takes less than 5 minutes). Markville, despite confirming I was an existing customer wanted to charge me ~$100 so I drove to the next Toyota dealership that did this for free.

I found Car Compass online and I can tell you now, I will use Angus and his services for every car I ever buy in this city. Considering his breadth of knowledge as well as the time and money he saves, I don't know why anyone would buy a car without his or a similar service. He does new and used cars, negotiates leases, high-end cars down to budget options... in any way you might need to acquire a car, Angus is your man. From the first initial conversations and interview through to the final purchase (where he drove me to the dealership, totally beyond the call of duty), Angus was polite, friendly, knowledgable and not in the least bit pushy. An initial detailed interview was followed up a week later with a brilliantly comprehensive presentation outlining the various options that were in my budget and wheelhouse. He then organized all test-drives and came along to help me ask the right questions, pointing out strengths and weaknesses of every option. He knows the dealerships and knows cars, so they don't give him any BS. In the end, I chose the perfect car for me, and he then negotiated a good deal. The whole process couldn't have gone smoother. Highly recommended.

    i didnt want to leave this review but multiple people have said to me, you risk others running into…read morethe same problem(s) if you aren't honest. so I give it 1 start because you can't give zero. but this was a sketchy, mom and pop used car lot that had 1 redeeming quality and that was their salesman Ammar. he was great very sweet. but at the end of the end had no authority for anything and it showed. every time I encountered yet another issue with my car (that fell within the 30 day warranty by the dealership his hands were tied).I specifically asked "if I have an issue with this car within the 30 days, what happens? I can't be driving back here." to which ammar responded quickly and confidently "we'll work with you, even if it means you take it to a shop locally and submit us the bill." perfect! good. so, i have owned this car before so was quite familiar with how it drove/felt. so issue #1, they put winter sized tires on my car in summer and told me that it would be fine "I wouldn't notice a difference." without knowing that they put 16" tires on my car, I immediatelly know something wasnt right. then they proceeded to lose air (brand new tires). the one went completely flat, so I had to take it to the mechanic, which now ammar said the tire shop would use as an excuse to void my tire warranty (so $2500 I paid for new summer rims and tires). they wanted me to drive my car 2.5hrs to them to fix the tire issue (remember one is completely flat...not sure how I was supposed to do that or how that was even a logical/safe option). #2 the carfax came back "clean". but it had very clearly been in a small accident but they just hadn't claimed it through insurance (so again they sold me a vehicle that had 10 body work issues that needed to be fixed. loose light casings, broken bumper, cracked grills, just to name a few. another $3800 out of my pocket). #3 there was a missing fender on the passenger side, and dead sensors that weren't replaced. and somehow all of this was not only O-K for a dealership to sell, but passed off as "safe". I don't know the first thing about cars. so any joe blow can sell a car. but to me it's the service afterwards that once they have your money do they still have integrity and will they still take care of you. in short the answer is no. kings auto said to ammar because [she] i didnt get extended warranty I'm out of luck. so they sold me a questionably sound vehicle and because I didn't pay extra they washed their hands of me. such a squeezy business, and if my vehicle wasn't so rare, I would have walked away and gone elsewhere simply just pulling in to the lot. it read, "disreputable". if you have the option go literally anywhere else but here. i had to get the roof done as well because their was rust but that's on me, but so far I'm out $8k over and above the cost of the car and they sent me a check for $250 (the cost of 1 rim), and that was their idea of "solving the problem". go to a place that understands morals and ethics and has more integrity than this. this was unbelievable to me, sadly not unexpected but unbelievable.
